Harvestcharm dropped by to see Brakewings, picking up his daily chamomile and thyme before heading out to the Endless Falls for a quick hunt. The herbs always took their time to take their effects. The way they shifted his anxious whirring mind into one that felt focused, detached. There was a serenity to not feeling every little emotion that people loved to sweat all over the place. Soon enough he could feel the chronic pain begin to lessen, he released an uneasy breath that seemed to strengthen as he breathed in again.
Stepping into a hunters crouch at the sound of mallard duck in the water he crept forward pausing only when he heard a sound from the side of him. Scenting the air he could tell it was a tourist. Or at least that's what he called people who visited DayClan. Always taking in the breath taking views and wow the friendly cute woodland creatures who would walk right up to you, how magical! He heard it everyday, it was nothing new. Focusing again he began to creep forward, but a large noise made the duck and the rest of the flock fly away entirely. Throwing his head back in annoyance he prowled over to see who the outsider was that was most likely disturbing away the prey. "Hey, um-" He began, before remembering the stupid intro DayClan cats were always told to do first before approaching, "I'm Harvestcharm, a DayClan resident. Um. What are you up to?" He asked, using "friendly language" as DayClan would call it.

The light calico she cat gave a small blink, topaz green eyes turning towards the tom before rolling them and looking away again giving a big sigh. "Oh I was just looking at all of this," and gestured to the openness of the environment around them, "and wondering just how stupid this decision was that we came here. Sure it looks nice and all and sure its a nice break from being underground but what was Shule thinking in dragging us to your clan territory." She was the size of a small apprentice but her attitude and personality were anything but. She paused before adding, "I'm Topaz but you'll learn that soon enough anyway." This time a small bit of laughter escaped her maw as she finished her last sentence.
"I mean, if you'd feel more cozy camping underneath our neighboring cult that catches on fire on the regular you're welcome to hang there," Harvestcharm said, with a ruggish grin. His voice was comfortably sarcastic, not the kind someone pushes to obtain, but the type that comes out smoothly like he'd been using that tone his whole life.
"I've heard about the Regime moving here though, I'm sorry about your situation," Harvestcharm said earnestly, after all, he had never known hunger. He did know suffering, for sure, but hunger luckily was never one of the many things he had to worry about.

"Eh I guess it could be worse and I mean this place does have a nice view to it. Not that I'd ever tell Shule anything of the sort but I will admit to you at least your territory is pleasant. Out of curiosity what role are you in your clan?" Topaz wasn't aware of the differences of positions and roles from the clan but had never bothered to really ask anyone in the clan about it. You could say Harvestcharm was the first clan cat she was curiously open to talk to. Luck it would seem that Harvestcharm caught her on a good day.
"My role? I'm a Blinding Light in combat and I'm a Peace Keeper in social classes. So I'm an a better warrior than, but on the social totem pole I'm about average. Why are you higher in rank, should I be associating with you?" Harvestcharm asked with a mischievous grin like she were either going to tell him off for being low class or he should have authority over her. "I'm kidding you know, I don't care, well I mean, I guess if you were a dangerous prisoner who committed horrible atrocities, I'd probably care," He rephrased.

She gave a bell of a laugh. "You guys sure do have interesting positions. I dunno where pirate ranks as far as that's concerned but I do not care anyway. Still I guess your clan life isn't too far off from Renegade life. Well except you guys live above ground and we dwell underneath. I may not be a prisoner but who's to say I am not dangerous?" She gave a playful wink to the tom before laughing again.
"What's a pirate?" Harvestcharm began to ask before dismissing his question entirely with a wave of his paw, "Y'know what, I came out here to not care about anything and I'm not about to give up that goal so I'm not going to ask. You can continue to be um. Presumably dangerous in your space, but I should probably-"
Ugh, he was acting like his bratty DayClan siblings who couldn't wait to get free from other people. Like talking to outsiders was like being exposed to a disease. They sucked and he sucked trying to escape from this conversation. He didn't want to be like them, constantly avoiding and judging others. Maybe learning about pirates would be cool and hanging out with her would be fun. Even if his self interest was avoiding others, it was good to get out of his comfort zone unlike the rest of his littermates, excluding Sweetwheat.
"Actually, I'll be honest, I'm kind of, absolutely am an introvert," He added a bit shyly, "I don't really meet people as sarcastic and forward as you are and honestly, for as much as I like to avoid others you seem pretty cool. If you'd be up for it I'd like to do some sort of activity with you or whatever cool Regime people do when hanging out," Harvestcharm said with what he attempted to be a reassuring smile, but came off a bit awkwardly.

"And just when I think I have an idea of what you're like you throw a curve ball at me. Heh you actually seem pretty cool so yeah why not. We can chill. I don't usually hang with with very many others in Renegade. Most think they are hot sh-- I mean they are all that. Not a huge fan of stuck up snobs like that. You know I don't have very many fun things I can show you since well we usually do a lot of stuff underground, but I would be interested in seeing what stuff above ground is like. Don't usually come up here all that often." There was a slight pause for only a moment before adding, "Oh yea Pirate just means I am ridiculously small and can just ya know fit into small cracks and crevices. Catch small prey or prank anyone who walks past and doesn't see me. Guess that means everyone above ground could be fair game now."
(I know it's been a while but if you want to continue this we can. They don't have to be mates, but it could be fun to just rp them bugging each other or getting along)
"Oh surface activities uhhh, alright, this is a lil weird, but I kind of like pretending to make potions?" He laughed, "I know, I know it's like super weird, but I like to see how it changes colors, make it have different scents. Pretend to enchant it. It's just kind of fun and I sort of like to make good luck charms out of it. It's a little comforting to make a potion for luck and believe it will increase my luck if I make it then to live in the reality that there's nothing I can do. I don't know is that weird? That's probably weird..."

(Oh no worries and yes I am down for anything with these two XD)
Topaz shrugged, "I wouldn't necessarily say that's weird...just unusual. I've heard of odder things and especially from those disgusting cats in that League. But yes I wouldn't mind checking out these potions and see how you make them. It's better than anything going on back at camp." Tail twitching she cocked her small head to the side. "Suppose we do make a potion of sorts...what would you make?"
"Heh, uh, well everyday I make protection potions. There's this old belief that if you take something evil and bury it then that power becomes yours to wield. So everyday I'll sometimes take a piece of nesting material from the most wicked cats in the clan and bury it in the soil. Then I take a piece of the soil, mix it with water in the shared pond of MoonClan and throw in some broken pieces of sun stone in there and then I'm done! Basically the soil is the contained evil, the water is a mix of this clans water and MoonClan water and since they have the Moon Goddess that repels the Sun God. Then with the broken sun stone it shows weakness to the sun. I like to scatter the water by SunClan's border to protect my family. I know it's probably not real, but just pretending like I can do something to protect them from getting hurt by SunClan again helps in a weird way," Harvestcharm explained, "But what would you like to make, you're the guest after all," he smirked.

"That sounds actually interesting to do. Lets do that one!" The small calico felt her tail sway from left to right in an excited motion with her small whiskers twitching away. "I have no clue where to go for any of that but I'll happily follow you. I'm confident enough that your safe to be around and plus I can handle myself if something happens along the way. Lead the way great potion master." Honestly this wouldn't normally be a thing she would do but Topaz was bored and Harvestcharm was also a seemingly cool cat so this was alright. Who knows, maybe this was actually something she would end up enjoying. Or not. Only time would tell.
Harvestcharm couldn't hold back a small smile rising to his lips at being called potion master before bashfully turning away. "Alright! Um. Since you're indifferent about which potion how about a love potion? I like to take something of the person I like, then I mix it with rose petals and rubies and I'll bury it in my crushes my favorite spot. And then if you do it enough they'll eventually like you," He explained, "But if you have someone in mind we can pluck a piece of fur from them," he snickered.

Topaz gave a thoughtful moments pause," I would like to see this love potion of yours. Hmmm, let's see where your crush's favorite spot is. I wonder who the great Harvestcharm likes." Her small eyebrow rose as she gave a mischievous grin. In honesty getting the fur of a tom she liked would have been too much of a difficult task to do. For reasons.
"It's an old part of DayClan, it's been walled off, forgotten about it. I lived in SunClan all my life so to be honest, I don't really know what it was for, but it seemed like DayClan use to make all of their apprentices come here to become warriors," He explained as he led her through the wild woodlands of Cadence Valley. The trees there felt more chaotic, they didn't feel tight and grouped together like a normal forest, more like the trees scattered about in clumps. But Harvestcharm chose to walk up a particular hill, one that blended with the rest. Walking beyond the hill was a flat land of grass, but on it were stones. The stones seemed to form in a large circle with a stone arch way in the center.
"I mean this seems like a serene place and not like a, oh gosh, why is this my crushes favorite place, I'm concerned kind of vibe? Like it's not the latter, right?" He asked.
Stepping into the glen there was already the feeling of another presence among them, but not just one, but many. Like there was an entire clan lying in wait watching them, it was unnerving, but not particularly haunting. Almost a neutral frightening vibe, like the presence was intimidating, but not evil.

Topaz looked around then shook her head. "I don't think so...seems like a serene enough place to me. Eh well close enough to be serene...well I don't think most cats would come this way anyway." She wasn't sure what to think of this place, but since she was with someone else it wasn't too bad. Harvestcharm didn't seem to be the type that would lead her to harm so she knew she was safe at least. "Curious how you felt when you first found this place."
Harvestcharm rubbed the back of his head, "I know that's such a weird thing to say, but I really did feel watched, like something was watching me. It honestly freaked me out. I think I'm, I mean I know I'm just a paranoid person, but I couldn't shake it."
Just as he spoke Topaz could see the face of a white cat staring at them from the bushes outlining the stone area. The ridges of the cats face were outlined pencil thin into a permanent displeased expression. But its eyes were manic for one small reason that wasn't easy to tell right away until time passed. The cat didn't seem to blink, only stare, it didn't feel real. It almost felt wrong to stare at the cat, like it wasn't something anyone should ever see, it just left a soul with a pit of dread just having stared in the cats direction. But Harvestcharm had yet to notice it, instead focused on Topaz.

Topaz on the other hand didn't feel like she was being watched however didn't blame Harvestcharm at all. "It's interesting that you felt watched here...did you ever figure out why? Oooo is this place...haunted?" The little calico wasn't one to quickly believe in the paranormal or such but at the same time who wouldn't be somewhat curious about that stuff? "Or did you find some weirdo cat just living here watching everything and everyone who passed without saying anything? Now you have me curious about this place."
