Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Snow slowly drifted down from the sky as the full moon illuminated every flake, making them shimmer like tiny stars. A thin coat of white powder dusted the trees and covered the ground. Rivers had turned to ice, something that may have made it easier to get to the gathering if it wasn’t so thin. The sky had thick clouds scattered across the sky as the snow was coming to an end.
Solsticestar let out a slow breath as she entered the gathering area, earthclan trailing behind her. She cringed slightly as she realized they were the first to arrive. Maybe she was a tad overzealous to be here at her first gathering as a leader, but she couldn’t help it.
Froststar lead SummerClan into the clearing as the second clan to come to the Gathering. She looked around the area and realized that aside from EarthClan who looked to have just arrived as well, SummerClan was the only clan there. Shaking some of the loose snow from her fur she wandered over to the leader of EarthClan, who she hadn't met before. "Hello." she greeted.

SummerClan
Graythorn looked around the gathering clearing with narrowed eyes. So they were the second clan to arrive. With a huff he headed over where the other medicine cats will be sitting. With any luck he'd find the soft moss he sat on the last time.
Pantherpaw bounced around excitedly. This was her second gathering so she now considered herself an 'old pro' at this. She eagerly scanned the EarthClan cats trying to see if any of their apprentices had come.
EarthClan
Honeycomb watched the SummerClan cats arrive but she decided to stay with her own clan for now. She sat next to Sunflash who seemed to be already enjoying himself. He too was scanning the new arrivals to see if any wanted to mingle.

Burningstar led NightClan into the gathering. She wasnt sure how this gathering would go down. Neither Kerrigan nor Foxstar had said anything to her so she proceeded as normal.
She flicked her tail signaling for her cats that they were free to disperse before heading towards Solsticestar and Froststar.
Froststar looked up at the sound of her name and saw Burningstar approaching her and Solsticestar. "Hello Burningstar." she greeted the NightClan leader. "We're doing fine. How is NightClan doing?" she asked politely.
Jokerclaw looked around the Gathering place unsure of what to do or who to approach. The huge dark ginger tabby tom with a mangled front paw had never been comfortable with large groups of cats thanks in large part to the aforementioned mangled paw and countless questions it would definitely draw and it'd been a long time since he'd attended a Gathering but he'd finally felt like doing so.
EARTH Solsticestar was having a hard time not getting overwhelmed. She shook her head in an attempt to force herself to focus before dipping her head to the other two leaders. “Hello!” She gave a warm smile to the two of them.
BrookClan was normally one of the first two there, and although they didn't trail too far behind, they were running slightly late. For the first time perhaps ever, the Tsar looked slightly dissheveled, but that's because there was a lot going on in her head. Still, the flower-crowned leader walked in proudly, her head high. It was just that she looked a little tired, something that was unusual. "Behave tonight," she meowed to the cats around her, her tail flikcing.
NIGHTCLAN Burningstar let out a purr, "We're doing well!" She meowed. She nodded to Solsticestar, "Greetings, you're the EarthClan leader right?" She asked.
She noticed Kerrigan enter with BrookClan and she blinked. The BrookClan leader... looked a little... off. Her crown was perfect and she still exuded power... but something was definitely remiss.
Jezebelle found it weird being at a gathering. Not that it was odd to her, she just hadn't been to one in so long. She normally made it a point to stay away from these things. The General didn't know where she fit in anymore. But, tonight was one of the few times she could get away from Belle-kedi and actually relax. Somewhat. She decided to keep to herself for the time being.
Not far from his mentor, the dark gray apprentice bounded eagerly into the gathering with his eyes sparkling. This was so cool! Sootpaw glanced around, then bounded up to the nearest cat - Jezebelle - with a welcoming grin. "What's up? I don't know you, where ya from?"
Peachstar had always disliked gatherings. It was usually too cold, there were too many people, and worst of all, he simply didn't care much about any Clan other than his own, unless they were all literally dying of the plague or something. He'd begun to enjoy them somewhat when they became the one occasion where he could talk to Thane in public without the fear of being impeached - or worse, embarrassed - but still, they were something of a nuisance to him. Regardless of how he felt about gatherings in general, he did have to admit; there was something vaguely calming about attending a gathering while in captivity. Perhaps it was due to the fact that he wouldn't have to pretend to pay attention to the other leaders while they were speaking. It almost felt like being on vacation, SunClan guards aside.
"Shouldn't you at least be trying to not look as relieved as you do right now?" his brother Lemonburst hissed from behind him. "You're going to piss off another Clan into invading us."
"You're going to piss me off into siccing Glowstar on you," the SpringClan leader muttered in response.
[ nobody report me for swearing we're allowed to say piss here ]
The orange she-cat nodded rapidly. “I am! You’re Nightclan’s leader, correct?” She waved her tail to Kerrigan, the she-cat responsible for helping Solsticestar come to power. She noticed something off, but opted not to say anything unless she brought it up.
Glowstar bit the side of her cheek, she didn't need to look at Thane to know he was staring her down. League cats got jealous if their mate was cheating on them, of course. But there was no greater sting than their mate choosing someone else to protect them in a place where value was only determined by strength. When Deal chose to hide behind Vera instead of her it must have been how other she-cats felt when a tom was cheating on them right before their eyes.
DayClan and SpringClan had been sharing a camp in SunClan for two moons together. SpringClan was more compliant, not that DayClan made any escape attempts that she knew of. She inhaled the air dramatically, "That's the gorgeous aroma of utter despair from our clanmates Peachstar. People always say, "Determination and pure will are the most powerful attributes in a cat!" But they're wrong. It's desperation. It's what turns anyone into a monster. Even cute fluffy SpringClan cats like you guys. Anyways enjoy tonight while you can, Peachy. Cause I've done an awful lot for you."
Her tail patted the SpringClan leader against the shoulder, but she didn't leave his side just yet, probably looking for someone to talk to first.
SPRINGCLAN
Thane took a breath, whatever, it was fine, SpringClan valued attention and sweet comments more than strength. It was probably a compliment that Peachstar hadn't instantly wanted him to be his attack dog in SpringClan culture. He looked to the cluster of SpringClan cats who were walking at a slow pace that he didn't appreciate. Glowstar and Peachstar were up ahead.
"Move," Thane hissed at the SpringClan cats, as he was already moving.
Those near him were weren't lucky and were crushed against his massive bengal bodies, others saw their comrades trip and slip as Thane walked faster and were lucky enough to move. Others weren't lucky. Thane moved next to Peachstar, literally pushing a SunClan guard aside to get near Peachstar. He highly doubted the Janus would be at league standard and even if they were he could use the battle practice should they choose to pick a fight with him.

WinterClan
As fashionably late as ever the large brown tom ducked under the brush and into the open with WinterClan trailing behind. Leatherstar stopped to give his ear a scratch and his chest a few flattening licks as his thanes passed by him.
"Have you, now?" Peachstar muttered half-heartedly to Glowstar. He was distracted by the faint sound of Thane pushing his Clanmates around - their Clanmates, he reminded himself - to get closer to him. "We're kind of a Clan of slow walkers," Peachstar murmured apologetically to his mate. He chewed on his lip, looking for a good place to sit and zone out for a few minutes. "Glowstar, where were you thinking of heading off to?" he asked idly. He felt he'd been a little too harsh on the DayClan leader, though she hadn't really seemed to taken offense at anything he'd said (yet). There was just something about Glowstar that drove Peachstar slightly insane every time he had to talk to her. He wasn't sure what it was. He hoped it was friendship.
Meanwhile, Lemonburst was giving Thane a cold glare - not that anyone really noticed, because it wasn't too far from his usual expression anyway. Despite all the past unpleasantness, Lemonburst did truly wish the best for his brother (even if it felt at times like his affection was not reciprocated) and as much as he wanted to call his brother a hypocrite for dating an outsider after almost killing Lemonburst for doing the same, he couldn't bring himself to trust Thane. I mean, a Primal Instinct tom? What does he even see in him...? Lemonburst thought to himself, giving Thane one last look before abruptly taking a seat right where he stood and making the rest of SpringClan bump into him.
It was funny. Much like BrookClan, SunClan was usually one of the first present, and though some cats had gone on ahead to ensure SpringClan and DayClan's... cooperation, the majority of the warriors, along with Foxstar, arrived late. Oh well, she had her reasons. And very good reasons they were, the Priestess mused, a small smile playing across her features. Ah, oh well. They could arrive early next time.
As the clan broke up into their solitary groups with a flick of the feline's tail, her gaze paused on Burningstar and Kerrigan, offering a slight nod to them as she approached, eyes drifting to Solsticestar. If she noticed anything wrong with the BrookClan leader, she chose not to say, instead eyeing the EarthClan leader for a long moment. After all, Foxstar did recognize her. "Hello." She offered simply, giving the she-cat no more, and no less as a greeting.
Her gaze shifted to Foxstar approaching Kerrigan and Burningstar. Fire in her eyes she replied to Peachstar, "I was planning on diagnosing myself with depression and lying in the snow until I felt nothing."
Her tough exterior didn't come close to matching the raw burning feeling inside of her. She tried to look away, but almost magnetically kept staring at them. This wasn't a, aw man, I thought we'd be friends, but oh well. This was a my damaged soul that never thought I could find true friendship found it and I've been constructing endless adventures we have left to spend with one another for the past few years and now my heart has just been burned to ash and I didn't know how much I'd miss having what we had until I lost it completely. She couldn't look away because they meant so much to her, but it was hard not to feel broken.
She turned her whole body away just to keep from staring. Solarflare and Russetdawn were executed by SunClan. Their queens slain. Kits separated more than just from their mothers, but from their littermates sprawled between Brook and Sun. By a blind eyed queen and injured puppy dog.
"But then I was like, it's Mouse Monday so maybe tomorrow," Glowstar said after a brief pause, "Why, did we have plans?"
Without her smile there wasn't a glow to her eyes, she looked deflated, but not depressed enough to lose her attitude. She gave a weak grin, "Oh yeah, we were going to tell Leatherstar he had mud on his paw and say made yah look. Right," She nodded as if she remembered them discussing such a plan, "Hey should we still do it?"
SUNCLAN Jetclaw, picking up the slack for her brother moved to stand near Glowstar. Her brother’s priorities laid with Littlebird so it’d be up to Jetclaw to fill in. She came over just as Glowstar suggested saying Leatherstar had mud on his paws and her whiskers twitched with amusement. She was still extremely angry at Leatherstar for barging in and demanding to see Littlebird after she’d endured a difficult kitting. Acting as though he had any right to be around her, made Jetclaw dig her claws into the ground. Fury felt good. Been too long since she’d felt the heat of anger and though it probably wasn’t good for her she embraced it.
“You should, i’d love to see the look on his face if you did Senator.” She told Glowstar.
NIGHTCLAN Burningstar nodded, “Thats correct,” she said to Solsticestar pausing when she noticed Glowstar’s presence. Like Kerrigan the she cat seemed... different. Not as carefree as she usually seemed to be. Had Foxstar found out that Glowstar had taken the DayClan kits to the Regime? Was Glowstar okay? Before she could excuse herself and try to go over to Glowstar and ask, Foxstar arrived and approached the group. Foxstar acknowledged her cool as ever. Unchanged. So what was going on? Kerrigan And Glowstar seemed off their game (though maybe she was imagining things) but Foxstar seemed cool as ever. So Kerrigan couldn’t be upset about something with the alliance. Maybe with Glowstar? Burningstar’s Head swam with too many questions and concerns that she forced herself to shake off for the moment.
Jezebelle forced herself not to flinch as the apprentice came up to her. Great, she thought bitterly. Another kit to annoy me."Jezebelle." She responded with sigh. "I'm from Absum Lux." it still felt weird for the General to say that she was from one of the groups. When she'd been in Primal Instinct, she'd never gone to a clan and group gathering, and when she'd been in SunClan and EarthClan, she'd never gone to a gathering. Period. It had been seasons and seasons since, "And you? What is your name? Where are you from?"

Winterclan
Second in command, Sweetpine followed after his chieftain. He was a shadow to him, just a shad darker than the other tom, but a shade lighter on the inside. His ears twitched as he laid eyes on the other leaders, not having been to another clan or gathering, he had yet to meet any of them. It was all so new. So many different scents were about them too. They reeked. As he remembered, they were worse than the winterclan cats than when he first arrived. He guessed he would have to get used to it, seeing how many of the leaders were familiar with the antics of his.
