With the volcano beginning to quiet down, SunClan realizes that the explosion has revealed several underground caverns near the volcano. The lava has stopped spewing, but with smoke still billowing from the top it is best to proceed with caution. One of the caverns that has opened up is near the river, far enough away from the volcano that cats begin to feel more comfortable exploring it. A group of brave warriors has been gathered to go into the tunnel, but with orders that if at any time they feel unsafe they are to evacuate to the surface immediately. This roleplay starts just as the patrol reaches the entrance to tunnel, so you can rp your cats interacting and go ahead a roll your first dice to see what your character notices about entrance. I will be including pictures as we go along, but they are pretty basic on purpose. So that only those that roll well are able to pick up on the details. -------------------------------------------------> INSTRUCTIONS-> Every rper is allowed to bring 1 character along to explore this cavern. This tunnel DOES contain clues for the current SunClan plot, and we are leaving who and how these clues are discovered in your paws. For each new area your character enters you will be allowed to roll a D20 dice. What your characters notice/observe will be dmed to you in a private message based upon what your character rolls. Your character can choose to reveal what they know to the rest of the patrol or keep the information to themselves. To roll the dice go
put your charater's name(rpers name) beside of name, select the red d20, and hit roll it. This will keep a log of the dice rolls for me. However, please do not spam the chat. You only need to roll ONCE per room that you enter, and you can not reroll for the same room. ------------------------------------------------------>
Butterscotchpaw poked her head into the newly formed tunnels with something like a look of glee on her face. She had found her place to start her new SunClan, one that followed the real high priest. But, there were definitely improvements to be made. The air inside felt like it hadn't moved in ages. It just wasn't right. Her eyes drifted up to some strange carvings. She reached up with her paw and wiped the dust off, and the images looked clearer. The looked familiar, but she couldn't quite place it. "Hey! This stuff looks really cool!"

Lionpride leaned down to inspect the markings that the young apprentice had uncovered "They are pretty unique" he meowed, It sort of reminded him of something, but he was having trouble placing it "It kind of looks like the symbol we use for water" he commented, but he didn't know the other symbol "Anyway, before we go inside we should talk about safety" he motioned towards the smoke that was gently floating out of the entrance "There is a possibility that there is still fire from the explosion still going on down there. Ig you feel dizzy, or the ground starts to get hot we should leave... We need to keep in mind what areas we have explored and leave a trail so we can make our way back to the surface" Jadiestardancestrawberrycupidpeachesnpanda

Dappleheart padded closer to the symbol on the wall wrinking her nose at all the dust inside the room. Almost immediately she recognized them as the water and fire symbols that the clan used. "Hmmmm. I wonder why water and fire are next to eachother..." The warrior mused out loud to herself. The symbols didn't seem exactly like what the clan used but they were definitely similar to them. It was her best guess that they referred to fire and water. "I agree that we need to be careful when we go in there."
Dappleheart glanced at the tunnel ahead of them and the thick white smoke. "I think we should crouch lower to the ground so we don't inhale the smoke and can see better."

"Agreed, at the first sign of thing getting dangerous we bail. While its important to explore these tunnels, right now SunClan needs all of it's able bodied cats to keep the clan running" Lionpride had been put in charge of the patrol now that his mother had returned as High Priestess, one of the few cats that she new and could entrust with such a task "We are mostly there to figure out where this tunnel leads, and if other clans could use it to get onto our territory, but if it is to dangerous for us then it will be to dangerous for others to"
Any fire that's in the tunnels should mostly have starved itself out by now. Fire needs something to burn as well as air and cramped tunnels offer neither... of course... that only applies if the fire isn't supernatural.
Soaringlight was a very smart she-cat, no doubt thanks to her multicultural upbringing and unbridled free spirit. However, logic and reality only got you so far in Enchanted Forest territory, as magic was a real explanation for what was otherwise impossible. Normally she would be more cynical, but she was tempering herself since she believed much of the chaos following the mate choosing ceremony was due to her brother, Bravepaw's, unconscious actions. It put her in a very strange headspace that she did not like. So, she decided to focus on the engravings.
"Yeah, these really do look like SunClan's fire and water symbols..." She mused, drawing her paw across the indented store. Soaringlight knew that a cat's claw couldn't do something like this, but she wasn't convinced that there wasn't some unknown tool that she could use to duplicate it, "... But there's no point standing around her and discussing it anymore. Let's go."
The dark-furred she-cat then fearlessly entered the tunnel system with her tail sticking straight in the air. This was her element, so to speak, tunnels. She may have only been a kit when she left the Regime but darkness was in her blood. She felt right at home.
"Strange, I only recognize a couple of these..." Soaringlight mused as she traveled deeper down the tunnel pathway. She followed the walls that had the heaviest patterns but couldn't make heads of tails of it, "... Surely these must mean something... OW!"
Soaringlight just barely managed to keep her balance after stumbling over something. She felt heat rush to her paw pad and just knew that it was bleeding as whatever she had stepped on must have been pretty sharp, "Fox-dung."
Sitting back on her hind legs, the dark-furred she-cat licked at the wound on one paw and felt around with her other until she found what had caused her discomfort. Lifting it up, she realized that it was... some kind of weird bone?
"Ominous."
She stuck the relic behind her ear and continued her way down the tunnel.

Jadiepeachesnpandastardance --- this is the main tunnel. Pick one for your characters to explore and roll the dice <3 You can also continue straight and follow the smoke

Peppermintpaw's paw traced along the carvings on the walls. They felt familiar for some reason, but he couldn't place his paw on why. There were so many different patterns, with no way for someone like Peppermintpaw to remember them all. But these felt special. He wasn't sure. Not that he was gonna share any information, he was just here for the adventure. Following along, he found the smallest hole he could find and squeezed himself into it.
(Peppermint chose the little tunnel on the left side and rolled a 13)

Dappledheart frowned, looking at the different tunnels trying to decide which tunnel to take. Looking at the Symbol meant for Sunclan, the warrior headed inward towards the tunnel with the Sunclan symbol.
(Chose the tunnel with the sunclan symbol and rolled a 16)
Soaringlight scrunched her nose slightly as the acrid scent of smoke made began to overwhelm her senses. Since she was so deep in the caves, there wasn't really anywhere for the smoke to escape, which causes it to twist and swirl around her, growing more and more intense as she entered a shockingly bright room that was clearly the source of it all. The cave had a large ceiling so most of the smoke had drifted upwards, relieving her of the worst of the irritation as well as clearing her view.
"Is that... fire?" She murmured as she approached the glowing pool in front of her. It didn't seem like a normal fire to her but the heat was just as strong if not stronger. Soarlinglight pulled the bone fragment she had placed behind her ear earlier down and dropped it into the pool, gasping as it went ablaze and then sunk down into the liquid fire like a rock dropped into a pool in slow motion.
