Skunkkit doesn't know what a skunk is, just that he was named after the creature. So the kit saw no problems with his name, at least not yet. But with time, and when he learned what a skunk is, he will have a problem with his name. For who would name their kit after such a smelly creature? At the moment, he was tossing a mossball around the nursery, calling out to his siblings to come and play while their parents rested in the nest talking and smiling at them.

Lavendarkit had lifted her head lazily from her soft moss nest. A game? She was always up for a game. The little tuxedo kitten slowly rose to her paws, giving herself a good stretch as a soft yawn escaped her throat. With a lazy smile, she trotted up to her brother and his moss ball.
"Hey, broski." She purred as she sat down. "What kind of game were you thinking?"

Creamkit lept from his nest and ran towards his brother. One moment he was on his feet the next he sneezed and tripped over his front paws rolling once and landing on his back. He sneezed one more time then shook his head and stood back up. He walked over casually like nothing happened. "I'm down for a game! What are we playing?"

Caramelkit lifted her head from where she was laying at in the nest with interest. She had been enjoying the nice warm sun but if there was a game involved she was more than willing to play, provided that everyone played fairly. "I would like to play too." She answered bounding out of the nest, intelligent green eyes gleaming with interest.
Brookkit, Crimsonkit's sister, had been plotting to sneak away from the den eager for another one of her daring adventures when she heard the word game. The little tortiseshell kit was torn between another escapade and the game. That is until she saw Morningdew watching her closely. There was no point in trying to sneak away, her mother was learning too quickly for her taste. "Me too! Me too!" Brookkit shouted bounding over to the growing group of kits.
(So the goal is for Skunkkit to learn what a skunk is and to be teased about it and forever embarrassed by his name. Also I updated my first post to hold what kits belong to what parents) ashestoashesNovawoofpeachesnpandabiyuu ☆彡
Skunkkit scrunched his eyes together, what should they play? Maybe badgers and warriors? Or rescuers? hmmmm.... "Well, I don't know... I was thinking a good game of Badgers and Warriors or maybe we can do a game of rescuers! We can chase the mossball and play keep away!"
Crimsonkit, to his credit, had made it out the nursery and promptly made a beeline for the camp entrance, only to be apprehended by a ferocious-looking Dancingdragon. Rather than carry him back for the seventeenth time this morning, she crouched down to his eye level end snarled, sending the would-be houdini packing. In his haste to escape back to the safety of the nursery, he slammed right into Skunkkit and bowled the both of them over. "Oww," he groaned, but quickly he was back on his paws, noticing the audience. "Hey, what's going on?"

( Thanks Pao! Lacekit is the last kit for Morningdew's family and there's no father. I also have a feeling that Brookkit is going to find out just how stinky skunks can get...Lol. She's too curious for her own good. )
"I'd like to play the keep away game!" Brookkit answered, her small body tense with excitement. After all it might be a good way to sneak out from under the eyes of the dutiful parents. She was dying for an adventure and it seemed as though Crimsonkit was too. It hadn't escaped her notice how many times the scary looking warrior carried him back into the den this morning. Maybe if they were playing a game, perhaps it would be easier to sneak away.
Caramelkit stood there watching Crimsonkit run into Skunkkit. While she wanted to play, Brookkit's eyes shimmered with mischief that made Caramelkit more suspicious about the other kit's intentions. The cream colored kit said nothing and gave her fur a few quick licks while waiting to see what the other kits wanted to do.
(Anyone wanna go find a skunk? lol maybe there get just outside of camp and are caught but get marched back smelling like skunk and a newfound embarrassment for poor Skunkkit?) peachesnpandawoofashestoashesNovabiyuu ☆彡
Skunkkit, in a pile of limbs with Crimsonkit, grinned at the idea of others joining in on their game. He was completely oblivious to what other intentions the other kits had but also didn't care. All was good in a game of chase, right? "Yea! Crimsonkit is it!" Mostly because he'd just managed to scramble away from the other kit who'd taken him out in a tackle, and also because Skunkkit still had the mossball in grip.
"Crimsonkit is what?" Everyone was moving and talking so fast, he could hardly keep up! But Skunkkit was the only one with a mossball so he charged after his denmate, though he was much, much slower and stumbled over his paws every other step. "I'll getcha!" He vowed though he was gaining no ground on the white-striped tom. Spying his sister, he called out to her, clearly not understanding the game or his part in it, "C'mon, Brookkit! Help me out here!"

Creamkit gave a small head nod, "I'd like to play a game sure!" And so the little tom ran as far as he could from anyone as to not get tagged "it" However he did not pay attention to where he was going and found himself running out of camp. With a chuckle he slowed down his small run to a light jog to a walk. He looked around and realized his error, however since he had never left camp before tried to find his way back on his own instead of staying and waiting to be found. So the tom made himself more and more lost as he continued on...would anyone realize he was missing?

"We gotta catch that mossball!" Brookkit exclaimed running past her brother at full speed to pounce on skunkkit. Her plan was to grab the mossball and to run with it out of the camp. She hoped that it would bring the other kits out of the camp with her. She was so focused on the mossball that she didn't notice that creamkit and caramelkit was no longer in the camp.
Once the game had started without her input, Caramelkit let out a soft sigh. She decided that she wasn't particularly keen on Brookkit's energy. Before she could join in, she noticed her other brother sneak out of camp. Curious, she began to follow him until she got lost herself too. "Where are we Creamkit?" She asked nervously pushing her way through a bush to stand next to him.
Honeycream had watched the kits as they left the nursery from his place curled up with Faithfulfeather. The tom merely purred though, thinking they'd stay in camp. Oh, how wrong he was. If only he'd gotten up to go look after them, tp watch as tehy played chase through camp as most parents would. But he's inexperienced at parenthood and didn't see the harm in letting them out of the nursery to play.
Skunkkit shook his head, tossing the mossball at Brookkit, "no! We gotta keep it away from Crimsonkit!" Didn't they know the rules of the game? Oh well. The black and white kit didn't pay attention to where he was running, dodging warrior, students, and the like as they ran around and through camp. At one turn they managed to get out of camp, completely unknowingly to some of the kits. How no warriors had managed to watch them disappear outside was a wonder. The kits hadn't realized they'd ducked out of camp and not into a den, but they really weren't paying attention. Slowly, they all slowed to a stop, taking in their surroundings. Skunkkit starred with wonder and curiosity, sniffing at a near by bush. "Any idea where we are? Don't think I've seen this part of camp before."
Most of them slowed to a stop. Poor Crimsonkit, bless his heart, wasn't the best when it came to gauging distance, and for the second time that morning, he crashed into Skunkkit, though this time he stayed on his feet. "Woah! Who knew camp was SO BIG!" He pranced ahead of the rest of them, stepping across Skunkkit's fallen form, and further into the wild, fantastical reaches of camp, wondering just why his momma had never shown him to these parts yet. "Hey Brookie, isn't this cool?" He called back to his sister.
Lacekit followed after the group hesitantly, casting an uncertain glance back to the entrance before scrambling to join the other kits. She liked the comforts of the nursery more than the wilderness of the great outdoors, but she felt left out seeing everyone having fun--and she didn't like the idea that everyone would know all about camp but her. "Does SpringClan really need this much...space for our camp?" she asked, frowning as her gaze dragged across the scenery before her.
after being tagged three times i'm finally here xD

Brookkit stopped to look at the new part of camp that they had just entered into forgetting that she had the mossball. "This is an awfully big camp!" She admitted looking around in amazement. Glancing over at Lacekit she grinned and gave her less adventerous sister a nudge. "Well there's a lot of kits. And we need lots of room to grow." Brookkit explained. Truth be told she was not certain if the clan did need this much space but the kit didn't think too much about it. Suddenly the kit got a whiff of something strange. "What is that?"
Caramelkit suddenly perked her ears up at the sound of other kits. "Creamkit. I think they're over there!" She blurted out pushing her way through a bush to find the rest of the kits standing around. She was surprised to find Lacekit out here with the rest of the kits. "Y-Y-you f-f-f-found us!" Caramelkit stammered relieved to find that she had been found, she had been starting to think about the different animals that would eat her for breakfast. Her imagination had been strong enough to give the poor kit a terrible fright. She was so relieved that she didn't notice the smell.
Morningdew looked up suddenly suspicious from the lack of noise outside the den. She hadn't heard the kits in the last few minutes. Despite being a new mother she knew what kind of mischief Brookkit and Crimsonkit could come up with. "Honeycream, are the kits out there?" She asked sitting up in her nest feeling the now familiar anxiety prickling at her pelt. The queen was now wishing she had chosen a nest where she could have a good view of the camp.

Lavenderkit took her sweet sweet time exploring. What was the rush? She stuck close to the other kits, a lazy smile plastered on her face as she looked around. “Wow, look at that. We got some sweet set-up here, doncha think?” The tuxedo kit said to her siblings. She hadn’t realized that they were playing a game of hide and seek until her sister mentioned something about it.
“Oh? We lookin for someone?” Lavenderkit said with a soft purr. “Nice... did I win or loose?”
Skunkkit scrambled back on to his paws, shooting his best glare, which honestly isn't that impressive, towards hid attacker Crimsonkit. They weren't far from camp, a few fox length sat most, when that awful scent came their way. It was drifting, barely there, but started out by smelling like a bad fart let lose in a small space. "Ewww, who did that?" He looked around, spotting his siblings coming to join the group but his eyes were looking for the guilty cat who let out that fart. Was it a fart? It seemed like it was getting closer to them and now he wasn't so sure what it was. Rustling in the bush lead him to turning around once more, but he figured it was just some more kits or something, not realizing his mistake.
Honeycream cocked his head to the side at Morningdew, "well they left the nursery but they were playing a game of chase. I'm sure they'll come running back this way any moment now. What harm is a game of chase?" Besides that, there were a ton of warriors and student s out in camp, there was no way at least one of them hadn't seen the kits and nudged them back this way. Right? Or was that just him being naïve as a new parent? As a student and a warrior he'd helped escort wayward kits back to the nursery all the time. They'd get out, playing in camp and be walked back. No big deal, no one was ever hurt and it all ended well, so he assumed the same thing now as a parent.

Creamkit felt relief he wasn't alone but now uncertainty of what to do next. He decided to stay nearby everyone he could, "Hey so is everyone okay? What do we do now?" That was when he heard the rustling in the bushes and became more alert. "H-hey who's doing that?"
Faithfulfeather gave a stretch as she moved slightly to get into a more comfortable position. "Honeycream would you mind double checking just to make sure the kits are doing alright? Just peek your head outside to see if they are still chasing each other or a mossball."
"Sure, love!" Honeycream bounced out of the nest, happy to please his mate. A quick glance out the nursery would quiet all the fears in the den and they could go back to their grooming and cuddling. The problem was when he didn't spot any of the kits outside of the nursery. His paws carried him a few steps further before horror set in.

Caramelkit looked over at Lavenderkit confused. She was starting to wonder if they were all playing the same game. But before she could respond to her sister she got a whiff of the stench that every other kit was complaining about. It was so strong that the fur on the kit's shoulders stand up. "W-what's t-that?" She stammered fearful that it was a creature that ate disobedient kits.
Brookkit let out a violent sneeze that sent her landing on her side. The scent was getting worse and it was making her eyes water. "It was certainly not me." She squeaked glaring at Skunkkit. She didn't taking responsibilty for getting into trouble, but she drew the line when it came this horrible stench. But she turned her head towards the rustling bush. Perhaps that was the kit who made the stink?
"It's another cat!" Brookkit exclaimed through her sneezes. She had just spotted the creature making its way through the bush and despite it looking a little funny, the adventurous kit thought it was another warrior coming to give her another lecture.
While it seemed that Honeycream and Faithfulfeather were less concerned, Morningdew got out of her nest to see for herself whether or not the kits were still there. Exiting the den, the tortiseshell queen froze in horror as she realized that the kits were indeed gone. "Blasted kits." She growled lashing her tail in frustration. This was perhaps the hundredth time Brookkit and Crimsonkit managed to escape her watchful eye. How could she be a good mother if her kits kept disappearing on her?
