The sun was out and the air was warm. The cold snow that Robinkit had seen since she was born was gone. She wondered where it had gone. It was like it had disappeared over night. Now beneath it was hard brown dirt. Robinkit was currently hovering over a small puddle in the middle of camp. Is this where the snow had gone? She wondered for a moment before dipping her white paw in it. she pulled it back and noticed her fur was no longer white, but stained brown now. "What is this?" She asked out loud tilting her head to the side.

"Wahoo!"
It was the only response his sister received before he jumped full force into the puddle. Qualkit laughed delightedly as he splashed around, not caring about the mud that stained his paws and coat. The fluffy tabby looked up at his sister, his eyes twinkling playfully.
"Who cares what it is!" The little tom exclaimed. "It's just something new to play with, right? So lets play!"
Cautiously, Sparrowkit approached from behind his siblings, his head tilted as he frowned at the puddle. "Is it... safe?" he asked, bringing his gaze up to Quailkit. "It doesn't hurt, does it?" Glancing around, he noticed that none of the warriors seemed to be worried about the puddles. It seemed they still mostly avoided stepping in them, but there were those, like Quailkit, who didn't seem to care.

"Doesn't hurt at all!" Qualkit assured his siblings. "Watch!"
The fluffy tabby had quickly jumped into the puddle again, this time falling to his side and rolling in it before he jumped back to his paws. He gave his pelt a good shake before he beamed at his siblings. "Not a scratch on me! I think it's just water! Really muddy water!" He giggled.
"Here!" Qualkit exclaimed as he jumped out of the puddle. "You guys try!"
"Eww.." The sound left as she watched her brother roll in it. Robinkit looked at the water with slight disgust. As she got a closer look she became unbalanced and tipped forward falling into the puddle face first. Her muscles stiffed as she realize she was laying in muddy. She quickly leapt out of the muddy water violently shaking her fur to get it off. Sending muddy and water spraying everywhere.
Sparrowkit frowned slightly, watching his brother roll in the mud, and lifted his paw to take a step back. Quailkit did seem to be having fun, but he was still unsure. It didn't seem to be harmful, but it was still messy. Although his mind told him that it was probably perfectly safe, he couldn't help but worry about something going wrong. He opened his mouth to speak, but as he did so, Robinkit fell in. "Are you o- psfftth," The muddy water that Robinkit shook off of herself had gone directly onto Sparrowkit, and, more importantly, in his mouth.

Qualkit, throughly coated in a thick layer of mud, had jumped back onto his paws and gave himself a good shake. When he finally looked back up at his siblings, he couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of them. He used one muddy paw to wipe at his cheek, leaving a good streak of brown on his gray tabby coat.
“Are you guys okay?” He asked, finally emerging from the mud puddle to look them over

Ravenkit couldn't help but giggle at his siblings antics in the dirty water, they looked absolutely ridiculous and it wasn't long before the kits boisterous laughs put him on the ground, much dryer ground at that. "You're going to have fun getting your fur clean later," He told his brother and the other two who were close enough to get splattered. He moved forward and sniffed the water cautiously.
"I think it smells okay at least, it just looks yucky."
No! Sparrowkit had wanted to answer to Quailkit, but the mud had gotten in his nose as well, thus causing the kit to break off into a small fit of sneezes. Once it had ended, he simply pouted in reply, his eyes watering slightly from the sneezing.
When Ravenkit approached, Sparrowkit turned to look at him. "Don't remind me," he sniffed. He wasn't looking forward to cleaning up, even though he was the one out of the three with the least amount of mud on him. "I don't think I can smell anything anymore because of that," he motioned his tail towards the mud with a grimace.

Qualkit giggled and shook out his pelt before finally stepping out of the mud puddle. "I bet our fur is gonna be so soft after this! The softest in all the clan! How cool would that be?" He mewed excitedly.
But Qualkit padded up to Sparrowkit and gently started cleaning off what little bit of mud had gotten on his pelt. "Its okay Sparrowkit, I can't smell much either" He giggled
