Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The journey was... a lot, even if his apprehension about coming back to SunClan was set aside. Between his signature limp that slowed his stride just enough to be annoying and Chimeramask's complaints throughout the whole journey, going so far as to beg to be carried, Crow was looking a little haggard at best, sleek black fur awry and sides heaving from the exertion.
When they at last reached the border of the healing SunClan territory, he was thankful to have the chance to rest his paws, sending his companion out on a mission to procure them something to eat before they finished the last leg of their journey. Honestly, he was just stalling at this point, nerves pricking in his paws at the thought of crossing over the border for the first time in moons. He shouldn't have felt so small... He was a full-fledged warrior of SummerClan now, with a mate and six kits, and had earned his place in life several times over since the fire, from forming his own gang to defending his mate against her abuser to retrieving his sister from NightClan's prison. He had many things to be proud of. So why did he still feel like a kitten here? Like he was deserving of the curse attached to his name?
The grass stalks nearby rustled, and Chimeramask reappeared, commenting something faithfully nonsensical, jarring Crow from his reverie. They finished their meal and then set off again. The next time they stopped walking, it was with the looming maw of the camp above their heads, the shadowy cave blotting out the midday sun. His whiskers twitched nervously, wondering just who would notice his arrival and if anyone would honestly care.

Devotedcrow only thought he was going to rest. Honeysplash waited until the cat had settled down, taking his time with a mischievous smile upon his face. He hadn't seen the young warrior since the day of the fire, and he wasn't about to let this opportunity pass him by. Suddenly he leapt from his hiding place, straight toward the cat's back "ATTACK" he yowled, but his claws remained firmly in their sheethes and there was a big grin on his face. It was time to see how much he had grown.

“This place is still as eerie as ever...” Chimeramask commented as he sat down. His green eyes glistened distastefully as he stared at the tunnels before looking back at his adoptive father. “Summerclan is definitely more Daisy’s speed. I can’t believe she actually wanted to stay he-URK!” The tortoiseshell tom hadn’t been able to finish his sentence as both he and Devotedcrow were tackled to the ground, even before Honeysplash could launch his “attack”
Daisy had caught their scent as it wafted through the tunnel. She had been sitting with her aunt and Mountain, who still didn’t seem to happy that the young initiate was hanging around Weed so much, when she recognized them. She had bolted through the tunnel and past Honeysplash, wrapping her paws around her brother and father. “Dad! You’re here! I can’t believe it! I’ve missed you guys so much!” She squealed. The young tortoiseshell, like her brother, had definitely grown out of their adolescent body. Where she was lanky, and pudgy before, Daisy was now lithe with the smallest hint of muscles rippling under her mottled coat. But that didn’t stop her from turning back into an excitable kit the moment she saw her family again
"To each their own," he was mumbling in response to Chimeramask, who he drew closer to, "but I'm with you on this one, bud. Eerie, dark, and uninviting as he--" No sooner had he stopped to sit down did he hear "ATTACK" yowled as loudly as possible, and suddenly a foreign weight was slamming into his side. Though the voice was familiar, when he blinked up into the calico face he knew so well, it didn't register as belonging to Daisy, unless she hit some sort of puberty that would deepen her voice. But a grin broke Crow's dazed expression, and soon enough he was nuzzling against his daughter, inspecting her for any signs of injury or neglect, pleased to note that she was in fantastic health. "Daisy! You've gotten so big since I last saw you! How are you? Did they have your ceremony yet? Is Daisy even still your name? They're treating you okay, right..."
He may have kept going with his onslaught of questions if it wasn't for his eyes befalling Honeysplash in that very same moment, Crow abruptly cutting himself off. He'd made amends with the warrior-- his own surrogate father-- but he still felt awkward about that time many moons ago, when he'd unjustly lashed out. Still, he needled humorously at the tom, "I see SunClan hasn't changed at all. Still attacking old friends and innocent passerbys, eh?"

"Naturally" he mused, but he took a step back to give Devotedcrow and his daughter some time. The flame point siamese, sat down with his tail wrapping around his paws "It's good to see you" he could still remember when the cats standing before him was just an angry apprentice eager to lash out at those around him. However, there were no hard feelings on his end of things. They whole family had been going through a lot, and he was happy to just have made sure that they got out.

Daisy had sat tall and proud as her adoptive father inspected her. She was no longer the timid and frightened little kit that had to hide behind her brother. Crow had shown her how to be more confident in herself, and now she was as independent as could be. But that didn't stop her brother from grabbing her and roughly messing up the fur on her head. Daisy let out a soft growl and managed to shake her brother off.
"I did, didn't I?" She purred. "I haven't had my initiation yet! I still have a lot to learn, but Aunt Weed has been really helpful! Even Mountain has helped! Unintentionally that is, I don't think he likes me very much! But everyone has been really nice so far and I've been able to help a lot! They give me lots of important work to do!"
He purred as she caught him up on the new aspects of her SunClan life, thankful that her experience was vastly different from his. "I'm very proud of you, Daisy. You're going to make a wonderful warrior one day," he told her sincerely, every word carrying his whole-hearted belief, Crow confident that both Daisy and Chimeramask were growing into respectable adults that would do their respective clans good.
"How are things around here? I've heard it's been a little...chaotic lately," he added. He took a seat near Honeysplash, allowing himself to lean against the tom a little in an appreciative gesture. There were residual feelings that he wasn't able to express-- his eternal gratitude for Honeysplash's support, his guilt for his own actions-- but the gesture seemed to say what Crow wasn't ready to, simply that if it weren't for the older tom, Ghostcrown's kits would have been utterly and completely alone.
