Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Harvestcharm lounged in the golden pastures of DayClan's border. Across the land in the orange canyons was SunClan, a land that he wouldn't dare say was his original home. Sure he lived in SunClan as a kit, but he was born in DayClan after his mom felt so unsafe in the land she held power in that she returned to DayClan. Now though he had made the same choice as her, to stay in DayClan away from SunClan's endless amount of drama. At least in DayClan any trouble was caused by other people.
Chewing on an apple he had gotten from the apple orchard of the farm behind him he noticed a cat in the distance. His green eyes narrowed as he continued to eat only to notice that the cat had no paint, an initiate. "Hey!" He called out to the tom with a wave of his paw, beckoning the cat over. However he placed his paw down almost immediately. If this guy was really from SunClan he probably wouldn't come over, they were always so pious with their superiority complex. Still given everything Bloodystar had done it felt only right to warn the guy, plus DayClan was one of the only neutral territories around that welcomed anyone to walk their lands.

It was one of those rare moments where Oren got to leave the camp unattended. The young tom was eager to explore every nook and cranny SunClan's territory had to offer. His paws tingled with excitement as he raced long the barren lands. He didn't even notice another cat nearby until he heard his voice
Oren skidded to a halt, dirt and sand powdering up as he did. He blinked his eyes, and through the cloud of dust, he noticed a figure in the distance. He tilted his head in confusion and took a few paw steps closer to get a better look. Whoever this was, they definitely were not part of SunClan. Was this cat a part of one of the other clan's he heard about? His curiosity got the best of him, and he continued towards the tom.
He waved his long, stripped brown tail in greeting and gave a friendly smile. "Hello!" He responded with a tilt of his head. "Who are you?"
Harvestcharm blinked, having a moment of intense social anxiety as the tom ventured closer to him. Oh God, why did he love to torture himself? He was going to have to not stumble over what he needed to use. Then if he messed up on finding the right word he was going to have to go to bed every night thinking about that for the next two moons. He didn't even have a stuttering issue or anything, but sometimes the anxiety of talking to someone got the better of him. Just why?
"Hi," Harvestcharm said, turning on his best I'm-Happy-Talking-To-People voice, "My names Harvestcharm, but everyone calls me Harv for short are you a SunClan initiate?" He asked warily, but immediately regretted his tone of voice. Great, now the guy was going to think that he didn't trust him, like, sure he didn't, but he didn't have to vocalize that. Now he was coming off as a jerk. He shuffled his paws a bit waiting for an answer before realizing his nervous tick and stopping himself.

Oren was happy that this tom seemed eager to talk to him. At least, that's what he thought. His smile grew and he puffed out his chest proudly at the mention of being a SunClan initiate. "I am!" he replied. He had completely not noticed the wariness in the toms voice.
The golden brown tom paused to look Harvestcharm over, tilting his head and blinking his round forest-green eyes. "You're not from SunClan, are you?" He asked, but not at all untrusting. He was more curious than anything.
"Oh, um. I was!" Harvestcharm said, shuffling his paws over the other. Oh wow, this was way easier in my head to be like, hi, I'm Harv, your cult cursed my family and has tried to kill some of us on multiple occasions. Nice meeting you!
"So I don't know how long you've been there, but cats who go in don't always come out. They kill initiates that fail," He glanced both ways before realizing they should really be talking about this somewhere else. But also why would this guy trust him? He hadn't built up any trust! Ugh, he should have talked about the weather or some boring mouse dung topic before jumping into this. "Fox dung, um. Can we just talk somewhere else? DayClan's territory is neutral, we can walk and talk around the orchard over here, it's right up against SunClan's border so you're not too far away. And um. I can maybe explain myself if you're still even listening to me?" Harvestcharm asked.
Okay so usually his attempts at enlightening others went wrong. Wrong to the point that they casually didn't believe him, but if he could save just one person he would feel like everything up until now was worth it.
