Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
stardance (thought it would be fun for the two to finally meet up and rant about other people and SunClan)
Hot water poured into the clay bowls each filled with dried butterfly pea flowers before sprinkling a touch of mint, followed by a generous helping of ginger. Stirring the bowls twice with a claw the tea formed an indigo hue. Settling down onto a large cushy ball of moss filled to the brim inside with feathers Autumngossamer carefully split an apple into sections, distributing an even amount to herself and her guest.
Azura and her had quite a lot in common according to literally everyone. They had both been from DayClan, but in someway or form got into SunClan and were manipulated. For Autumngossamer she was higher on the social totem pole than Azura had been, but in no way was that a treat or even a superior advantage. Taking a sip of the tea she awkwardly looked at Azura. Okayyyy so they had a lot in common, but it was sometimes hard to get the ball rolling to get that initial conversation started. "Sooo, what are your thoughts on Littlestar?" The orange tabby asked casually.
If she asked Azura this question not that long ago, she would have gotten a very different answer. But all the raw hatred from then had boiled away. She still did not like the High Priestess in the slightest, but Littlestar had extended much-needed empathy in the roughest part of her life. Azura's fur was better kept now than it had been in a few moons, and some of that spark in her eyes had returned. Still, she was a long way from the she-cat who openly disdained the Sun God in Bloodystar's SunClan.
Azura carefully lapped at the tea. DayClan's culture of fancy food and teas never caught on to her, she preferred the simpler things. But it was no doubt a nice change. "I... hope she does better. She has a lot to make up for." She paused. "I know my personal grievances are nothing to yours, but I think she's... better than Foxbane, but, you know, that's a low bar. I talked to her the other day, and I now have hope that she can be better."
Autumngossamer took a bite of of the apple, chewing it for a moment with a look of consideration before speaking, "You know what I respect most, Azura? Honesty. I'd rather some foxheart piece of trash call me a pompous attention hog to my face than have some doe eyed pretty girl pretend to like me, but talk dirt behind my back. Cause I knew Foxbane was cruel right? She never made me think she was the good guy, that she was going to look out for me. But I trusted Littlestar, I actually felt loyal to her. During the Shadow Era I told her the truth unlike the other SunClan traitors and then she let Sun God possess her to punish me and only me. Then when I tell her that the Sun God tampered with my body and I'm pregnant, she didn't care. Then I tell her I'm going to give birth in SunClan and she agrees, only to knock out me and my husband and due a medical procedure I gave no consent to. Followed by giving away my kits to some random family to save her face from being reported, while never telling me that I had these kits. And then proceeds to have my kits be raised by someone else. But the worse part is, at least Foxbane's victims get to hear people drag her name through the muck. All I ever hear about is poor Littlestar. That doll face, pretty eyed priestess can play pretend as innocent princess thrown off her throne, but she's a soulless demon who got replaced by a monster of her own creation. Screw Littlestar. Also-"
Autumngossamer leaned over pretending to sprinkle something onto the apple slices, "There, I just wanted to sprinkle a little angst and mean onto your apple slices," She said passively, but seeing Azura's expression she bumped her shoulder playfully, "Come on girl, I heard you were like this, don't mess with me, warrior. Get mad, be salty, I know you got it in you, there's gotta be something you want to rant about."
"I mean... I can't hate her. I did, for a long time. But I can't anymore..." Her voice trailed off. Hate was rare for her to give, and even rarer for it to dissipate. She still stunned herself whenever she said that out loud. "I haven't forgiven her for enabling Bloodystar to take me from my home, but... I can't hate her anymore. I would hate her if I were you... but I hate Bloodystar. " She dug her claws in the earth. "He's vile. Instead of bringing back to DayClan to heal, he took me to SunClan because he thought me dying was a sign from the Sun God or something like that." She leaned down and took a sip from her tea. "He always gave me this pompous speech on how I would find the light, whatever that meant. He just kept spouting on and on and on that I would find whatever he wanted me too. He killed me, for a long time. I don't consider myself antagonistic, but I was that for a little bit there."
"Dude I know. He was always telling everyone how they were lost, but they could all be found by Sun Gods light. But that was Littlestar's fault from the beginning too, she really messed me and Bloody up. I mean there was no avoiding it, for being in top positions him and me were constantly punished and humiliated. He was a friggin' nuisance at the start, but she beat him into the monster he is now. The way he treats everyone is how she treated him. Now he's more maniac than mastermind, which honestly is relief. I guess it makes sense, he would never have been able to do every horrendous act of evil he did to those she-cats if it wasn't for SunClan's rule to blindly follow. Without that people would have called him insane and kicked him out from the start, he didn't exactly have the manipulative power of past dictators," Autumngossamer criticized, "Oh and then he stole my daughter. Like literally, just hired Disloyaldog to grab her from me! Now she's in SunClan with him and honestly I'm a bit worried. She's the most naive out of any of my kits."
