the construction is finally slowing down and Primal Instinct decides to go and investigate some parts of their new home. It was finally slowing down enough for Funk to venture through the new city. The asphalt was nice and smooth, the concrete had nary a dent in it. It was the kind of city that seemed thrown together, but executed in the best way the twolegs could. The streets twisted and turned like a knurled tree. Chaos barely contained in order, it made the Nemesis smile to himself. A few had tagged along with him, as they climbed up the hill. The tunnels were nice but gave him the creeps, he wanted to be able to see the sky above him. So they climbed higher and higher until they reached the most peculiar spot.
The road that led to it was nice and paved, but then it descended into gravel as tall trees began to overtake them. Even in the middle of the day, it had a spooky aura, one that Funk quickly dove into without even considering the cries of his concerned clan mates behind him.

"Huh well this place is sure interesting to say the least," Regulus casually remarked as he followed Funk in this new place. While Regulus didn't have any opinions of the new city the tom had to admit this place as creepy as it felt. None the less he volunteered to join Funk on this expedition to explore this creepy site. It truly didn't bother the bigger cat and if anything curiosity drove him to go deeper into this place of twisted trees and changing roads. He moved with caution to him always on his toes ready for anything if something tried to jump out at the small group.

"It reminds me of that old manor we lived in. Though this has a lot more atmosphere." Regulus wasn't around in those days. And Funk thought that was optimal. He didn't like to admit why they left, of course everyone knew but the newbies. Better to keep it like that. As the group headed further, it only got stranger. The city had all the makings of being extravagant, but this place was almost untouched. Like it was glass and a single tremor would lead it to shatter. A few remnants of the road that was broken up laid to the side, and they were suddenly faced with a huge metal gate. It overshadowed them, though the bars far enough apart for them to slip through. Despite the concern, Funk was the first to slip through the gate.

"Heard a little bit about the manor but it's a real shame I missed seeing it. Sounded like a fun place to be in." The warden followed right behind the leader's heals as he too slipped through the gate. Regulus paused as he took in all of the sights, sounds, and smells of this place. He had seen a lot of different territories in his time but this place in particular was a one of a kind place. He was really curious what they would see around here.

"It was a good bit bigger than this one." The tall trees were a canopy above them, only giving the place a more eerie look. "We all managed to fit in there. For better and worse. Last I saw, the hum-- twolegs, have just tied off the manor. I haven't seen any monsters around it so you may get your chance." But if Regulus did, it would be long after Funk had left. He had no desire to go back to that place. It was a swallowing of his pride to even consider it, and even while starving, he was glad to at least not be starving in there.
In the distance, the pair could hear a creaky door open, and a few moments later, a twoleg appeared with gardening supplies. It didn't seem to pay them any mind as it went to work crouching down next to the bushes near the building. Another soon followed, and the cats could hear them talking, though they couldn't make out any words. Funk tilted his head, and then a laugh rumbled in his throat. One that said he had a bad idea. "Hey. Come on. Follow me." Funk purred before taking off and going around the building the opposite way of the twolegs.

Regulus heard the twoleg feeling annoyed those damn things were here. Humans, two legs, twolegs...any label worked and were all the same. The warden had great distain for the annoying creatures and hated just how much destruction they had caused for the League. Even before growing up outside of the League all they ever did was cause pain, caused death, made life harder for any feline in general. Even those who were convoluted enough to become their pets knew the truth to those beings. With a sigh though he caught the tail end of what Funk said and immediately followed the tom. "Where are we heading Funk? Got something in mind?"
