Coming back from a successful hunt a ginger tabby tom pushed his way through the entrance with a rabbit clamped tightly in his jaws. Almost immediately he noticed a clump of apprentices and kits playing with some of the freshkill pile. Mapledusk paused as his anxiety caused the smooth fur to rise up on his shoulders. Slinking towards the shadowy edge of the camp Mapledusk hurried to put his kill on the pile before the young cats saw him. As he put it down, he felt a slight brush against his back legs. Jumping rather high the warrior let out a hiss and scurried back to the shadows. He was sure they were now laughing at him. A big warrior was scared of kits and apprentices....how embarrassing.
