Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
This rp is in replacement of the prophecies. Since it was voted to abandon StarClan, StarClan has decided to observe certain cats to see if they have potential, which is why each of you are pinged with a specific “chosen” character of yours! You don’t have to participate, but if you do you will get a lot of character development out of it, especially for the next plot!
The group was supposed to go on a short patrol to scout out any new burrows that might have popped up near the Keepers Mansion. However their job was to only report back their findings, not to actually hunt. Which was why Moonkit was invited to tag along, to see the outside of camp in a safe environment among warriors. Among them was a new clanmate who had recently joined, Buckthorn, a black tom with a white shine to his pelt.
"So we basically just find burrows and then tell other people about it and then they hunt the prey for us after the animal whisperers say that their well populated enough? This is a pretty sweet job," Buckthorn marveled, falling into step along side the rest.
"We'll be sent on the hunting patrols too, I'm sure," Sweetwheat replied, "to show the others where the burrows lie." Not really in the mood for talking, the leggy she-cat hung off to the side of the ground, her head sweeping back and forth in search of prey scents that might lead them to the new tunnels.

Moonkit ran after the warriors excited to be allowed out to help with something so important. She wasn't quite apprenticed aged but had plenty of energy despite her size to keep up. "This is amazing!" The small silver kit squeaked happily. She wasn't too sure about what to do or to look for, but she observed the older cats and then began to search the ground for signs of burrows.

(Blame Faith for this lol. Hard-Mode: Pursue a mate- Character must pursue a mate with anyone, of age, who enters the rp. If you have a mate you can refuse this prompt, but get no heart (+1 ♡))
This patrol wasn't supposed to be that interesting really, but Parsleywiggle was already blown away. She smiled down at Moonkit for a moment, less than a second really, before her eyes swiftly returned to Buckthorn--the new hottie in DayClan. She just couldn't take her eyes off of him and his shiny pelt, unless it was to look at Sweetwheat. With her cool disinterested aura, she was also irresistible to Parsleywiggle today. "That is such a smart prediction, Sweetwheat!" she purred and then batted her eyes between the two warriors.
(I mean, you can find all the best mate options while searching for burrows, it's common knowledge really! xD)
"Wow! Two patrols, one where we get to literally watch people work," Buckthorn enthused.
Seeing the mansion hedges ahead he sniffed them before eagerly climbing up them, already determining that they would be too thick to simply walk through, "Moonkit, I bet you could walk right on through those bushes unlike us, you're much smaller." He encouraged before climbing down just barely only to leap to the ground on the other side. The Keepers Mansion was surrounded by a large, but fairly simple hedge maze that had become overgrown and unruly.
"I bet they burrow closer to the mansion," Buckthorn guessed before looking excitedly towards Parsleywiggle for hopefully a compliment on how smart he was too.

Moonkit watched Buckthorn climb the bushes for a couple of minutes. To her the bushes were gigantic. Instead of climbing the silver kit poked around the base of the bushes until she found a way through via Buckthorn's suggestion. There were places that was much tighter than others but Moonkit was able to pull through without losing too much fur.
"I did it!" She exclaimed proudly, oblivious to the flirtations between the warriors. The kit's eyes widened as she looked at the rather large and intimidating building. "Is that the mansion?"

Parsleywiggle glanced back to see if Sweetwheat was watching before she followed Buckthorn over the hedge, leaping more than halfway up it before she climbed the rest. When she landed gracefully on the other side, she stared up at the mansion in awe. She never really came this way much, but every time she did she was amazed by the pure size of the two-leg made structure. "I bet you're right, Buckthorn," she purred. "I wonder how many we'll find." When Moonkit came through the hedge, she smiled at her. "Great work! That is the mansion! It's pretty huge, right?"

"This is going to be annoying." Ravenpaw muttered to herself, keeping to one of Sweetwheat's sides and away from the flirting. She never normally piped up like that, usually off in her own world to even notice things like that. But the preening of the crow kit on her shoulders kept her more grounded than usual. Plus they had a kit. Sure, it was supposed to be safe, but no one really knew what could be hiding in the Keeper's Mansion. "We're gonna stay as a group, right? Or is one of you thinking of splitting up?" Ravenpaw eyed Parsleywiggle suspiciously.

Moonkit nodded still staring at the huge building. She wasn't sure what creatures made it, but to her she imagined them being very powerful. The kit then looked at Ravenpaw confused. She wasn't sure what the apprentice found annoying but she felt like the apprentice was aware of something she didn't know about. The kit moved closer to the apprentice while waiting to know what they were going to do next. Even though she was excited for an adventure she promised her mom that she would come back safe and sound.
Buckthorn took a dramatic look around, sweeping his eyes over the area in long exaggerated looks before nodding his head finally to Parsleywiggle, "You know, I bet we could find... Two." He said with a confident smile and nod of his head.
"Oh we should definitely stay a group, I think that would be the best outcome for all of us," Buckthorn said in agreement, "Unfortunately they talked about the burrows being up close to the mansion, it makes sense though, there's more cover over there."
Venturing closer to the Keepers Mansion he knelt down pawing at the ground, but something inside of him told him to look up in that moment. Sitting up once more he noticed one of the woodchucks were at the door inside of the mansion. It looked at him before running back inside. "I guess gophers live in there now," He said, not realizing it wasn't a gopher, but rather a groundhog.
"Hey Moonkit, want to venture inside?" Buckthorn asked with a curious wide eyed expression.

The kit had been watching Buckthorn closely to observe what he was doing so that she could be more prepared when she became an apprentice. But when the warrior asked her if she wanted to venture inside the building the small kit tensed uncertain about that prospect. The mansion was huge and it looked dark and gloomy to her. Moonkit looked back at the building thinking hard. A warrior would be brave and venture into the building and she wanted to prove to everyone that she could be a good warrior one day.
The silver kit stood up as straight as she could hoping she could hide the little bit of fear trembling in her paws. "We need to find the burrows for the clan. If the burrows are inside the mansion we should go in."

"Of course." Ravenpaw agreed monotonously, not appearing to be worried as she walked past the warrior and kit and into the mansion. Whether she didn't know any better or just felt fearless, it didn't really matter. She could take whatever was in here, or at least that's what she thought. She pawed at the loose floorboards that squeaked under her.
"WOOH! BURROW MANSION WARRI-ORRRRS!" Buckthorn cheered excitedly, "Last one there is a rotten robin egg," He teased Moonkit before racing inside, but made sure to slow his pace to give Moonkit a fair chance of beating him.
Inside was larger than any den they had seen before, the structure was stretched up high and tall with twin open stairways leading up to higher floors from left to right. The floors were the weakest, the floorboards were beginning to rise up and curl.
"Hey is there something up there," Buckthorn asked, pointing to the rainbow, crystalline chandelier up above. What he was really seeing was iridescent rainbow reflective lights bouncing across the walls, not actually moving figures like he had thought. Turning around he called back outside, "HEY! SWEETWHEAT AND PARSLEYWIGGLE! COME INSIDE, IT'S SUPER COOL!" CleaverFlurryofstars

Almost immediately when Buckthorn challenged Moonkit to the race her fear left her body. A race! "I'm going to beat you!" She called out as she took off after the warrior. Despite her best effort, the kit hadn't quite caught up to Buckthorn before they entered the mansion.
"Ooof." She grunted as the kit crashed into the tom's leg. Only slightly dazed the kit's eyes traveled up to what she only could describe as colorful dancing lights. Lights that the kit was sorely tempted to chase despite being on an important quest. When one of the lights flashed across her paws, Moonkit couldn't help herself and pounced on the light tail wagging in the air.

Parsleywiggle watched Buckthorn and Moonkit race with a purr rumbling in her throat. She didn’t fail to notice the way the tom allowed the kit a fair chance at beating him, which wasn’t something just any cat would do. Without a doubt, he would make a good father. With a sigh, she turned to the gorgeous she-cat beside her and gestured towards the mansion. “I suppose we shouldn’t keep them waiting right, Sweetwheat?” Regardless of her answer, Parsleywiggle started walking towards the building at a quick pace. When she entered, she stared wide-eyed around the room. Her heart fluttered at the dancing rainbow lights. It wasn’t the first time she’d seen such a sight, but it always took her breath away. “Oh, how lovely!”
Just then before Sweetwheat could approach the mansion further the door closed leaving Sweetwheat facing a very young looking cat. The cat was a large tabby tom, but bunched up his muscles the moment he saw the warrior standing there. He took a cautious look back behind him as though to check if the doors were still closed before facing her, "You're one of those warriors who have no respect for this mansion aren't you?" He accused.
Inside Buckthorn jumped at the sound of the door slamming shut behind him, but for a short second it almost looked like he was smiling. That is until two other cats moved out from the halls to surround them.
"Welcome to Keepers Mansion Parsleywiggle and Moonkit!" Buckthorn chirped, looking between each of them, "I knew the moment I saw both of you that you would make such fun editions to the team! This over here is Birch and oh, that black she-cat is named Nestle and then lastly is Infinity, and I'm just Buck so... So yeah! We're the Keepers, we preserve the mansion, but there's supposed to be more members and yah dah yah dah, yahdah, we decided to recruit and here you are! So want to get a look at your new home here?"

Moonkit had been so busy admiring and playing with the lights and the colors the kit jumped high in the air when the door slammed involuntarily letting out a little hiss. She had not been expecting that to happen and now the silver kit looked more like a little wide eyed porcupine. It took a minute for Moonkit to get her heart to stop racing as she processed what Buckthorn, now Buck, had told her.
Staring wide eyed at the other cats Moonkit felt more than a bit confused. A new home? But what about camp and her mother? "I thought we were supposed to look for burrows." She objected moving her gaze over to Parsleywiggle to see the warrior's reaction.
"That was just a trick to get you all here, now that you are you can live here in this big house with your new family," Buckthorn said proudly, "Don't you want to be a Keeper? We work with DayClan, but we're also a little bit like our own clan and they serve us! Or will once they known we've resurfaced."
Sweetwheat stared at Parsleywiggle questioningly, unsure how to respond to that compliment, but luckily the patrol continued before she had to respond. She let them run ahead into the mansion, feeling her fur prickle with foreboding. The mansion was dangerous; should they really be going back into it?
Then the door slammed shut, and the fur on her spike spiked as she leaped back. "I have plenty of respect," she replied cautiously, her ears pinning back. "We aren't here to cause any trouble, just look around the burrows." Which they really should be doing now. "Can I go fetch my friends now?"

"Now, now, now!" Parsleywiggle said so late into the conversation that she wasn't sure anyone would care to hear her out. "I know I'm a pretty gal and you cats are very attractive yourselves. Heck, Moonkit will probably grow up to be a cutie too! We could all start a large and happy family here and it sounds amazing. However, we also have a duty to our clan! We can't just leave them! And Moonkit's a kit. We can't steal her from her parents, ya know!?"
