Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Shae blinked from her position on her car's roof. Ever since she had first stumbled on this group, all those years back,it had become accepted that the former general had possession over the ruby red firebird. It was old, run down, and it was hers, absolutely hers. Those who had tried to prove any differently had walked out of the situation with one less extremity. The car, then, seemed to be one o the few things that was consistant in her life. Everything else? The older she-cat's ice colored eyes narrowed exhaustedly. Everything else had been a mess.
”Shae, my darling...” it was a voice that had not been heard by many in so long. Could it truly be? A silver tabby stepped from the shadows, her green eyes gazing towards the feline upon the car.
The feline opened a single eye at the voice. It was almost like she was unbothered by the ghost of her past. However, she often looked unbothered by most things. It was just her way of doing things. The only sign of potential distress at the sound came from the cat's ears, which pricked in disbelief. "Ah, damn, I've officially lost it," she muttered to herself, before letting her gaze fall to the silver tabby. "Look," she called down, "whatever psychotic episode I'm having right now that's making me see you? Can it wait for twenty minutes? I was trying to nap."
The face of the feline remained void of expression. Instead, she simply padded closer. ”I shouldn’t be surprised one would think me not real...” Octavia seemed almost amused. ”But.. you of all cats should know better.”
Shae's eyes continued to train on her former Heda, the first cat that she had ever trusted. "I always wondered how long it would take me to go off the actual deep end," she muttered under her breath, before raising to a sitting position. "Fine, fine, we can pretend that you are here and I shouldn't just cut my losses and throw myself off a bridge," she meowed with a flick of her tail. "Absum Lux sucks and everything is bad, so you might as well leave while you can. I would if I could."
