There had been rumors on the wind of the she-cat's promotion to General. And where there were rumors, Foxstar was certain to not be far behind, least of all when it concerned those she knew. The High Priestess always did have a knack for being two steps ahead of everyone else.
It was to no one's surprise that the fox-hearted feline was wandering the territory then, making no effort to hide herself from the cats of Absum Lux. She wanted to be found, that much was obvious. Perhaps it was considered rude to start out by trespassing on the territory of the cat you'd come to see, but of course, the painted leader never had exactly been a stickler for the rules, had she? And that was something Jezi knew full well, no matter how long it'd been since they'd last seen each other.
So much had happened since then, and Foxstar wasn't the mischievous young warrior she'd been in those days. No, she was so, so much more than that. She was a traitor, a murderer, a cult leader, and a cat almost entirely devoid of remorse and morals.
Jezebelle wasn't all that surprised to see Foxstar. In fact, ever since her promotion she'd been expecting the SunClan High Priestess to show her face. She was actually a tad disappointed that it hadn't happened sooner. While it had been seasons since they had parted ways, some experiences would never fade. If she remembered right, Foxstar - then Foxdawn - had been an advive supporter of Narcissus, Lilystar's sister. She wondered if the self-proclaimed 'leader' was still alive. She hoped not, she could just imagine what havoc Narcissus was planning. She suppressed a shiver.
"We must have done something right." she stated in a teasing way. "One of us is already a 'leader' and the other is on their way."

A whisper of a smile crossed the collected feline's face, a rare expression of genuine mirth, however small. It was almost as if they'd never parted ways at all. Foxstar would never admit to it, but some small part of her missed the she-cat before her. Perhaps it was because the Priestess had known her in a time before her emotions were guarded, that she'd formed a bond that she hadn't intended, and this forced her to remember.
Regardless of her feelings on the matter, a small chuckle left the feline's lips as her gaze met Jezebelle's. "Can't say I'm surprised." She replied easily, maw curling up into a slight smirk. "We knew we'd end up here all along. It was just a matter of convincing everyone else."
Truth be told, Foxstar wasn't worried about Narcissus. The SunClan of old didn't exist any longer. They were far more bloodthirsty, and no longer tied to a code that demanded 'honor' and 'mercy'. She wasn't so foolish to think that Narcissus wouldn't be in contact with her at some point, if she was still alive. But she also hardly worried about what her former 'leader' might do if she refused to play along. Realistically, it would have been wise to be a bit cautious or worried, yet the fox-furred Priestess couldn't claim to see Narcissus as a threat. Not really.
"It didn't take much convincing." Jezi sighed mockingly at her own words. "A bit of a shame they didn't ask more questions before deciding I was fit to be a leader in the future." Truely, it was. Even if she was a tad more loyal to her new home than she had been her previous three. Still, leaving two clans and a rival group didn't paint the best picture. Especially when adding in her betrayal to one of the two clans. She wasn't ambitious by any means, but that didn't mean she wasn't looking forward to the day she received extra lives. Changing the subject, she asked, "I heard you overtook both SpringClan and DayClan. Still keeping the clans under control?" While she did admire that little piece of gossip, she had a feeling it wouldn't last long; the other two leaders sounded completely stubborn.
"You'd think they'd have a more rigorous selection process." Foxstar agreed simply. She'd betrayed SunClan, and left DayClan when it was convenient for her. And yet, SunClan not only accepted her back, but Starlingstar made her deputy. It was funny, really, that the entire staff of said clan seemed to disappear within two moons of her promotion to the rank. She expected that there were many who thought she had a paw in it, and she did nothing to dissuade such rumors.
Ah, but onto the next subject. It wasn't a new development, Foxstar, Kerrigan, and Burningstar had basically paraded the two captured clans' leaders before the other clans during the last all clan gathering. "Indeed we are. And it will remain that way, so long as we have the support of BrookClan and NightClan." If her tone was to be believed, however, she didn't seem to expect much. It was winter now, when most clans needed all the cats they could get to keep themselves alive. NightClan was sure to pull out the second they had the opportunity, as Burningstar rather.. disliked her. Kerrigan was more likely to stay, but considering the time of year, and the distance the cats had to travel, it wasn't in her best interest to occupy indefinitely. Nor would the two clans be content to be prisoners forever.
In all likelihood, Foxstar didn't see the arrangement lasting until spring. It was disappointing, and she was still wondering if there were ways around what she felt was inevitable. They could probably keep DayClan on their own for a long while, but Glowstar was a wildcard. There was no telling who, or what, she'd recruit to her cause to free her clan. The only thing that could be known for certain was that she would find a way to get what she wanted, one way or other.
