Two days after Morningdew's escape from a burning building and joining springclan, the young queen went into labor. During the next few hours of pain the tortiseshell felt a major amount of fear and loneliness. But once the kits were born a warm spread through Morningdew's chest as the small bundles of fur nestled closely to her for warmth. Purring softly the new mother pushed her three newborn kits closer to her silently vowing to protect her young kits.

Brookkit (song): F Brookkit is a tortiseshell who has bright amber eyes and an inquisitive personality. She loves to go on adventures and usually her brother follows her around. They are both magnets for trouble. Brookkit is the exact opposite of her little sister and doesn't often hang out with her. Crimsonkit (tooth): M He is a black tabby with a single white paw, the tip of his tail is white. His eyes are a blend of his mother's and father's (who is not spoken about). His eyes are an gold-green that changes depending on his mood. Usually Crimsonkit has a fierce attitude that tends to get him into trouble. Rped by: woof
Lacekit (feather): F Personality wise, Lacekit is more like her mother. She is laid back and prefers to keep close to her mother and sticks to the rules. While her littermates tend to flock together, she is more of an outsider. She has her mother's brilliant blue eyes and has a tuxedo pattern. She has two white paws, with a white diamond on her nose. The tortiseshell kit woke up from a deep sleep nestled safely under her littermates. Brookkit yawned as wide as her small pink mouth could and began to squirm out from under her sister and brother. "ooof" She mewled as she struggled to move freely. "Let me out." Brookkit complained feeling squished.
(I didn't know how much of a timeskip you wanted, but I figured old enough for them to talk.)
His dreams were wild with fantastical images of him, the legendary Crimsonstar, eviscerating the WinterClan warriors that trembled before him. He could hear the chants of his loyal clanmates cheering him on, and just when he thought it was about to get better, it didn't.
Crimsonkit reeled back as his sister's paw struck him on the cheek. "Watch where you swing those things," he grumbled, rather annoyed his dream was cut short. Shoving Lacekit unapologetically out of the nest, he extracted himself from his siblings and scratched his ear with a hindleg, seeming to accept that he wouldn't be getting anymore sleep with Brookkit moving around. "What's the hurry to get up anyway?"
Lacekit made a disgruntled noise as Crimsonkit pushed her out of the nest, falling to the floor with a dull thud. "Mmpph, why is it that whenever I get woken up in a rush, it's always you two...?"

"If you had two other kits laying on top of you, you'd want to get up soon too." She huffed, relieved to be able to breathe fresh air. The kit then swiped a paw over her amber eyes to wipe the rest of sleep from her eyes. "Besides, the sun is up and I want to go outside."
Brookkit was tired of being cooped up inside the nursery. She had explored every nook and cranny of the nursery so now her attention was fully devotied to finding a time to sneak outside without their mother noticing. The inquisitive kit looked over at their mother, who was still sleeping. The kit figured that was because she kept Morningdew up late with questions about the warrior's life. Brookkit had been disappointed to find that her mom didn't know much about it, so she wanted to find the answers on her own.
"Who wants to come with me?" She asked with a mischievious grin.
Annoyance aside, in true Crimsonkit fashion, he was quick to jump up when Brookkit posed her question. Noticing his excitement, he attempted to smooth his pelt back down and replied in the most aloof tone he could muster, "I might as well go since I can't get any good sleep around here..." Even still, his ivory tail-tip twitched restlessly, betraying his true feelings.
Lacekit was a little more hesitant. "Um..." she said, looking back at Morningdew's sleeping form. She preferred to stay close to her mother's side, safely hidden away from her siblings' antics. On the other hand, even someone as non-adventurous as Lacekit couldn't deny she was getting a little sick of the nursery. "Well, okay," she said, shoulders slumping as she admitted defeat, "but you two better not get me in any trouble!"

Brookkit's amber eyes gleamed in excitement. Despite her sister's hesitations, she was glad that Lacekit would join them. "Don't worry Lacekit. We won't get in trouble....not a lot at least." She added the last part on purpose. She didn't mean to get into trouble. It seemed that trouble found her. But she didn't tell Lacekit that.
"Let's go before mom wakes up." She whispered quietly as she bounded out of the nursery's entrance. She stopped just outside the den waiting for her littermates to follow as well as taking in the big world she hadn't seen yet.
Noting his sister's apprehension, Crimsonkit sneered. "What's wrong, Lacy? Scared the mice might eat your paws?" He shoved against her shoulder then bounded pit after Brookkit, taking in the wide, expansive camp for the very first time. "Woah! Look how big it is!"
"More like scared you'll step on a twig and get us in trouble," Lacekit grumbled, but even she couldn't help the gasp of amazement that passed her lips as she took in the sights of the outside world--or as outside as the SpringClan camp was, anyway. "You could fit a hundred cats in here!" she exclaimed. "Or a thousand! Or a hundred thousand! You can't even count that high, Crimsonkit!"

"Look at all the places we haven't been to yet!" Brookkit exclaimed eyeing all the dens and then the fresh kill pile. She even had to admit that Lacekit was right. The camp was big enough to fit a whole bunch of cats in here without being squished.
"Race you to the fresh kill pile!" Brookkit exclaimed taking off before either Crimsonkit or Lacekit could say boo.
"Hey, I can count ta twenny!" Crimsonkit argued like that was some feat. In all honesty he could confidently recite the numbers up to ten. The rest were mostly guesses.
He sputtered something unintelligible as Brookkit took off, charging after her without another word. "No fair!" he howled, trampling some flowers in his path.
