Flawed and Spring becoming friends cus both poor misunderstood cats need some friends! Honeystorm
Flawedperspective was having trouble catching mice and shrew and such smaller creatures as of late and when she'd asked for tips in her new home, not yet used to the terrain and hunting style, she'd bene pushed towards the Animal Whispers. One in particular was said to know a lot about the smaller creatures she was struggling with, so she sought out the cat named Spring. She'd never interacted with her before, at least not that she could recall and had a hard time locating the other she-cat. After talking with multiple cats, she was finally pointed in the right direction. "Spring?"
Spring was a jumpy cat, covered in scars, and since she had her back turned while interacting with one of the lli mice, that she quite literally sprang up when the she-cat called her name, accidentally tossing the mouse in the air, and scrambling to create a safe landing spot for the small creature, murmuring apologies to it and dropping a few seeds for it to eat for the trouble.
A moment later, she turned to Flawedperspective, eyes wide with fear. "Yes?"
"I'm sorry! Did...did I startle you?" She wasn't the most confident cat but to have startled another was so out of character for her that it concerned the warrior. Flawedperspective stepped back, giving the other cat more space to breath in. Speaking in a quieter voice, she asked, "I..well I was sent here to speak with you in regards to your specialty in small creatures. But I can...I can come back another time if that's better?"

Spring's head twitched slightly, tilting to the side suddenly as if it had just decided to snap itself. If not for the fact that the animal whisperer merely shifted slightly to keep herself from falling over, and otherwise seemed fine, one might think she'd injured herself or something. But Spring didn't even acknowledge it as she swayed side to side in nervous contemplation. "No, no, u-um. It's fine. What did you want to know?" She didn't quite look Flawedperspective in the eye, appearing to look more just to the side and behind her in a way that if someone wasn't paying attention, they might not realize she wasn't actually meeting their gaze.
