(Mentor + Apprentice rp Lionpaw & Snowthorn || Icepaw & Tigerlily || Ravenpaw & Mysteryleaf Snowthorn and Tigerlily decide to head out together to train their apprentices. Since they’re a couple it seems like the perfect opportunity to spend time and get work done. That is until Mysteryleaf steps in, not trusting the two to train Lionpaw well without supervision. But when Snowthorn and Tigerlily turn her away Mysteryleaf could decide to instead do some spy training with Ravenpaw)
"Icepaw, we're leaving," Tigerlily called out to her apprentice before joining her mate, Snowthorn's side. For a clan known for being welcoming to all she couldn't have felt like more of an outcast since moving in. Even when she was an Immortal Council member it never felt like anything had changed. The only consistency was Snowthorn, who the clan seemed to equally despise and outcast. Sometimes she considered moving back to NightClan, but at the same time she didn't want to feel like she was losing. She already had to abandon Absum Lux when she fell, then left NightClan, she wanted a forever home.
"Good day so far?" Tigerlily asked Snowthorn.
"Positively sunshine and rainbows," Lionpaw said with a chipper tone, his voice always sounded remarkably young and cute.
"Okay," Icepaw replied to his mentor, although he made no move to actually follow her, instead choosing to fidget with a moss ball. He wasn't actually playing with it but it was hard to tell what exactly he was doing. Something with twigs and rocks? Regardless, what was clear was that he didn't want to go with Tigerlily. She always made him work too hard. So, if he stayed quiet and she stayed distracted with her hot boy-toy, maybe just maybe the patrol would leave without him...

Ravenpaw was admittedly wary of Snowthorn and Tigerlily. She was too new, and wasn't sure who to trust and not trust. After Winterclan, she felt the need to keep her guard up, even in a place as sunny and friendly as Dayclan. The black she-cat's ears twitched at hearing her brother's voice, and she walked through the entrance back into camp curiously. Of course, they were both there, and her shoulder's clenched a little at the crow hatchling sleeping between them. She kept closer to Lionpaw, dropping her piece of prey into the fresh kill pile before focusing again on the group. "What are you going out to do?" She asked in a hushed tone to Lionpaw, though both of the others could have heard her.

"Better now that you're here," Snowthorn purred, running his cheek against hers in greeting. It was only partially for show but he hoped Tigerlily was none the wiser. He didn't want to complicate their situation with unrequited love. His attention momentarily diverted to Lionpaw as he answered as well, chipper as usual. He hardly trusted him, but he offered his apprentice a proud smile nonetheless. "Icepaw isn't giving you too much trouble I hope?" he whispered to his mate, after noticing her apprentice made no move to follow her. Not wanting to steal her thunder and mentor Icepaw for her, he simply stared at the tom expectantly, not even glancing at Ravenpaw as she approached them.
Tigerlily leaned her forehead into Snowthorn's briefly, drinking in his clean scent before leaning back, "He's not determined," Tigerlily said, her blue crystalline gaze turning back to Icepaw with resentment. Then again she never had a traditional mentor like the clans had, maybe she would hate the structured training too. "Icepaw," She said, her French accent overly pronouncing the I in his name, "My mothers first day of training she was late and her mother beat her senseless to teach her the value of respect and time. I have always wondered if I hold the same punishing power as my grandmother, but I suggest for your sake that we do not find out, yes?"
Lionpaw's ears flicked at the sound of his sisters voice, turning around he spotted Ravenpaw, his tail lifted in greeting to her, "We're going out on some group training, cool right? I don't know much about Icepaw though. Hey, you should come with!"

Ravenpaw's mouth clicked as neither mentor gave her much mind. Probably for the best. They were just too... similar to Dottymask, she couldn't help but not trust them. "Y-Yeah well." She let it go and faced her brother again, "That's neat but I don't think that's a great idea." Half of it was because she wanted to go take a nap. The other half... was because of Ravenpaw's own mentor. She wasn't even hear but the apprentice could almost feel the heat on her back from her gaze.
Flurryofstars (We can change plans and have Ravenpaw venture with them)
"What's the matter? You'll be great at whatever we do if that's what has gotten you so worried," Lionpaw reassured, turning his face to try and catch Ravenpaw's stare, "You're fun, I'm sure Icepaw will like you," He continued as he tried to guess what was keeping her from coming along.
Tigerlily glanced over to see Lionpaw speaking with Ravenpaw, "Your kid seems to be bringing someone along," She said, her hush voice teased along Snowthorn's ear sending a tingly feeling down to his paws. "She's Lionpaw's sister so he will probably want her to run along with us."

Snowthorn's lips twitched as Tigerlily "threatened" her apprentice. The way she held herself and annunciated her words in a sharp but foreign way, made her seem as intimidating as she was beautiful. He tried to hide his amusement though, as he wondered how much of what she was saying was just empty words. He couldn't picture the bengal beating anyone up and if she did, he doubted it would hurt, but Icepaw was none the wiser. His expression hardened when Tigerlily brought up Ravenpaw however. He still wasn't sure what to think of all these cats, especially with how much of his feelings he had to hide around them. Mysteryleaf had seen to that the moment she rubbed his name in the mud over something as trivial as a break-up. He wondered how much damage that had done to his reputation, and he caught himself clenching his jaw at the thought of her. Ravenpaw was Mysteryleaf's apprentice and while he didn't want to entertain Lionpaw or rile up the she-cat so soon, he didn't want to look weak in front of his mate. Maybe he could make this work? If Mysteryleaf acted up about them helping out with Ravenpaw's training, maybe they could finally persuade the higher-ups to enact proper justice.
"I don't see Mysteryleaf anywhere. I wonder what she's doing that's more important than taking care of her apprentice," Snowthorn noted quietly. "I can't see any harm in bringing Ravenpaw with us though. Someone needs to train her, and who's more qualified for the job than us?" He sent Tigerlily a grin while simultaneously trying to ignore the butterflies in his stomach at her hushed tone. Turning back to the apprentices, he allowed his voice to carry over to them loud and clear, "Ravenpaw, why don't you come along with us? Tigerlily and I are more than happy to fill in with your training today, and Lionpaw's not going to take no for an answer."

Ravenpaw kept dodging Lionpaw's stare, finding every rock and leaf around them far more interesting than her brother's face. Though when he insinuated a confidence issue, she finally met it with a pout. "It's not about that..." But what was she supposed to say? That she didn't fully trust these cats right to their faces. She couldn't, right? The chick must have picked up on her pensiveness, stretching and flapping it's wings. But now with the sudden insistence from Snowthorn too, she let out a sigh. "Alright. Since you all insist."
A hush murmur of laughter slipped past Tigerlily's muzzle at Ravenpaw's reluctance, "It is our job as mentors to encourage everyone's participation."
"Yeah, and I mean ever since you've come to DayClan I haven't really gotten to see you much. What happened anyways that you came to DayClan?" Lionpaw asked, but knew he would have to ask again later. What he really wanted to ask was if Wintrystar had sent Ravenpaw to DayClan to spy too. But also what was he supposed to say if she didn't hint at it? She was his sister so he could trust her... Unless she had totally changed since they had last seen each other, they had spent many moons apart and it wasn't like they were close to begin with either.
Deciding to focus on other worries he looked up at Snowthorn, "Hey teach, what are we gonna learn today?"
"I was thinking of combat practice, every apprentice is eager for that. Plus they can practice their moves with one another," Tigerlily said thoughtfully.
"Who is your mother again? It's hard to keep track of all these relations. Makes me glad I don't know who my dad is, really saves me a lot of fuss, although it does come with it's own problems too I suppose," Icepaw was pretty quick to get to his feet after Tigerlily's threat, although for his part he seemed rather unaffected by it. Still calm, still aloof, still, well, Icepaw. Wheather she knew it or not, though, she had struck a cord with the young tom. When he was nervous he could be quite the chatterbox when usually he was the quiet one, "Either way, I don't imagine Glowstar would much like you beating your apprentice senseless because of just a little insubordination."
The dark-furred tom glanced over at the other two apprentices who seemed to be murmured back and forth to one another. He knew that they were siblings, so it wasn't much of a surprise that they were buddy-buddy, although it did make him feel all the more an outsider especially since Snowthorn and Tigerlily were mates. All he had was Mysteryleaf and that's she-cat was... spooky. He was on his own. Ah well, I'll probably be fine.
"... So yeah, did I hear something about combat practice?

"It'd be smart to take advantage of having a group training session like this, so combat practice it is," Snowthorn said as he gave Tigerlily an approving nod. It was always so satisfying to be around someone as intelligent as her. He didn't have to worry about hiding his annoyance that way. Although, he did wonder if she had an ulterior motive for suggesting the idea. Of course, he was all for such a scheme so long as it wouldn't reflect badly on them later. Lately, it seemed that not a lot of cats trusted them and for the life of him, he couldn't come up with why. All the more reason for them to be careful about their actions going forward. "Now that we're all ready, let's get going," he announced as he began walking out of the camp. "Ravenpaw, how much combat has Mysteryleaf taught you so far?"

At Lionpaw's question, she let out a huff. Did he really not know? Didn't hear? She didn't know how he couldn't have; at least figuring Hollowpaw would have told him. " 'Cause I'm sick of supporting a clan that killed Mom." She looked down, clicking her claws together. The chick could pick up on her stress, readjusting itself. No matter what Sweetiepeach did, she didn't deserve that. It was why she didn't want to get any closer to these two warriors. She heard everything from Mysteryleaf.
Of course, a shot at Lionpaw wouldn't go over Ravenpaw's head. She shot a glare towards Icepaw, feeling all too stuck in this world. Ravenpaw almost missed being stuck in her own head. She didn't get up to follow Snowthorn right away, but heard his question. Not that she was very inclined to answer. "A good amount. I got all the basics down." She went for simplicity.
"I heard training too!" Lionpaw said in his usual happy go lucky tone before fixing his sister with a disappointed stare.
"Why are you being like this?" He asked her lowly, not even certain if he intended to say his thoughts aloud, but since he had he continued, "There's no way mom was murdered, if she was Wintrystar would have killed whoever did it. I thought the same-" He cut himself off, this wasn't the place to go over his theories and how he came to the conclusion that a murder couldn't have happened. Not with Snowthorn and Tigerlily nearby, he was just starting to convince them he was normal.
"I just you to be normal for this one, alright?" He said to her reassuringly, "We can talk after," He promised her before following Snowthorn's lead.
Tigerlily looked the apprentices over before nudging Snowthorn, "How about we set up a sparring area for them," She suggested before looking back at Icepaw, Lionpaw, and Ravenpaw, "You three can relax in the mean time, we'll call you when it's ready."
"Okay!" Lionpaw chirped before immediately looking to Icepaw, "Hey, want to play fight a bit to warm up? Endless Falls isn't far from here, we could cool off while we're at it, I'm dying out here," He laughed, given his long WinterClan fur he had inherited from his father.

Unfortunately, Ravenpaw was obstinate. And also bad at controlling her volume anything over a murmur. At least speaking quietly was her norm. She really couldn't believe Lionpaw was defending Wintrystar. He hadn't been there in moons and now acted like he knew the place at all. "You act like Wintrystar cared for us." Ravenpaw said with a huff and turned away. "But alright. I'll wait till this is over." Something about Lionpaw's tone made her shudder, but she couldn't put her paw on what. It was like, she didn't really know him. Like Dayclan had changed him or something. She came here hoping for the better but now almost everything felt like a threat. It made her block out whatever anyone said after.
"Okay, but what were you two just talking about?" Icepaw asked as he put himself directly in-between Ravenpaw and Lionpaw. He was smaller than the both of them and short-furred, so there was quite a stark contrast between the three apprentices even though they shared the same amount of WinterClan blood, "Secrets don't make friends, ya' know... but... I guess it can wait until after we get to the Endless Falls. I'd love to go for a swim!"
