Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The tom inhaled deeply through his nose, letting the cool morning air fill his senses, then exhaled.
Perfect.
Poisonrush stood outside of the camp entrance, taking in his surroundings and the sounds that emitted from the forest. The sun had just barely risen above the horizon, giving the land a beautiful orange glow to it. It was another good morning for a light jog to start his day. Much like any other morning, he planned on taking the same route, but something in his gut gave him the idea that there was something off the beaten path that needed to be investigated. This sensation was a bit random this time around but he rarely went against his instincts. A part of him wanted to wait until some of his clanmates were awake but another part was begging for him to not diverge from what had become an integral part of his day. However, he chose to do the former and waited.
The tom was pleasantly surprised by the sound of another cat's voice this early in the morning. From the sound of it, it was Hawthornclaw who came to join him. Perhaps he was there to join in his daily routine?
"Morning, morning," he greeted as he turned to face Hawthornclaw. "Sure! The more the merrier, I say. Not often are there cats willing to go for a run at this time of day."
"That's fair." he replied with a tilt of his head. "Well, I'll be finishing up my stretches here in a minute. We can head out then." Turning toward the beaten bath into Fall territory and continued his pre-workout routine. After a short period of time, Poisonrush completed his stretches. "I'm ready when you are, Hawthornclaw."
The tom nodded once. "Alright, big guy, try to keep up." he said jokingly as he started off down the path at a light clip. For the sake of time, since he assumed he would have some sort of tasks he'd have to complete and, not to hold up Hawthornclaw, he took the most direct route to the border. He didn't expect there to be any trouble but he couldn't be too safe. "Just a fair warning, keep an eye out for predators. I don't normally see them this early in the morning, but I have the faintest feeling something might be out, this time around."
