Daniel moved through the tunnels with a sense of purpose, out once again to start another day of hunting. It was pretty much all the tom had been doing recently, he'd been trained as a mercenary, but the recent drought of prey was all but enough to have made practically every cat who could catch into a Scout in terms of trying to keep up with the endless scarcity and the resulting hunger. It was odd to think even his brother Vincent, who he only ever known as a Guider, had even managed to catch something small on one of his breaks. It felt odd in some ways, how it seemed like these recent hardships had made such an odd mark on the group as a whole. He just hoped things would get back to normal soon.
