Lionpride tucked his kits into the nursery with their mother, padding out into SunClan's camp and settled down with a hare to eat. Watching after so many little ones was exhausting, especially while still recovering from his own injuries. The fire had removed fur from large portions of his body, that was only now starting to regrow in some patches. His pads were still painful and, his peeling skin was scarred and bright pink.
However, there was no signs of infection and he seemed to finally be on the mend. He took a few bites of his food, golden eyes glancing over that cats who seemed to be lounging around camp. ѕнαdow✩
If there was one thing Reza despised, it was lounging. The laziness of many in this clan nearly drove him to madness. The tom huffed, glancing around at the others, before his attention was garnered by the patchy tom enjoying his dinner. The tom’s eyes narrowed thoughtfully before he stood and padded over, small charming smile on his lips.
“Good evening.” He nodded his head minutely. “Mind if I join you?”

The tom looked up from his dinner, to see the new initiate hovering over head. He shrugged his shoulders, moving over slightly so that the tom could join him. Like most SunClan cats he wasn't particularly close with any of the initiates, but neither did he treat them poorly. He just had his paws full caring for his family at the moment "Reza, right? To be honest I could use some adult company" most of his day was spent with his children, which left him with little time to socialize. This was one of the rare moments in which he could take a moment for himself
"How are you enjoying SunClan thus far?" he questioned, taking another bite. At any moment his kits could wake so he needed to take advantage of the quiet to fill his rumbling tummy
The tom gave a purring chuckle of amusement, nodding in answer to the tom’s acknowledgement. “It’s certainly different from anything I’ve experienced, but I’m hoping it’ll all be worth it when I go through the test. It would be nice to feel like I belong somewhere. While I enjoyed the freedom to roam wherever I chose, it got far too lonely.”
Reza observed the tom in silence for a moment, eyes dancing at the sight of his desperation to fill his stomach as quickly as he could. “Since I hope to become a full fledged member imminently, why don’t we get to know one another a bit better? How is your life here?”

Lionpride hesitated, only for a brief moment but more than enough for an observant cat to catch on that though he was speaking truthfully it wasn't the words he really wanted to say "Good, for the most part. I have a mate that I love, and twelve kits that are growing bigger by the day. A dedicated, albeit bothersome, father in law to help with them and many siblings" Nothing he said was much of a secret, a rather safe reply considering that there was always ears listening into his conversations for the slightest hint of rebellion.
"What about you? Any family?" most initiates didn't have one, at least not any that they cared to speak of.
