Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Thinking about finding a mate for Fawnheart but haven't decided on who. Figured I would make a thread to see if any were interested. Fawnheart is kind and soft so a tom who comes close to her personality would be a perfect match for her. She digs soft and kind toms. A tom can come from anywhere. Loner, rogue, different clan. It doesn't matter as long as Fawnheart is happy <3)
It had been many, many seasons since Fawnheart had even heard from her Fallclan mate. He had promised to follow her and half their kits to Springclan when the other half of their kits living in Fallclan were old enough to be on their own. However, their kits were well old enough now and Fawnheart began to feel like he wasn't coming. She had asked around but no one had seen him or even cared that he had gone. Perhaps he had just simply run away and didn't want the life he had promised her. She sat at the Fallclan border, not even his scent could be found. Her heart ached as she stared out into Fallclan territory. The morning sunlight made the forest a glittery winter wonderland but nothing could lift her spirits. A single tear formed in her bright amber eyes and rolled down her cheek, followed by a deep breath. Maybe she wasn't meant to be loved. After all, she was a medicine cat. She needed to get her head out of the clouds and focus on healing the injured and sick. She turned her back on the border for the last time, leaving a long drag line as she dragged her lowered tail through the snow.

(Mapledusk is a quiet but kind tom. He usually sticks to himself or close friends. One downfall is that kits and apprentices scare him.But that is mostly because he's always worried about hurting them.)
For a long time Mapledusk admired Fawnheart and how she was able to help heal and connect with others in the clan. Because of his reservation, Mapledusk never talked to Fawnheart before. As the blue eyed warrior traveled back to camp from a failed attempt at hunting he couldn't help but notice the she-cat's distress. In the moment that he spotted the she-cat he forgot his intial shyness and bounded over to Fawnheart clumps of snow glittering in his orange and white fur.
"Hello Fawnheart. Is everything okay?" Mapledusk asked softly eyes shimmering with genuine concern. He hadn't seen Fawnheart upset before and Mapledusk hoped that he could help lift her spirits in some way.
She gasped as she startled at Mapledusk's sudden appearance. "Oh, my. Is it that obvious?" She slightly chuckled, feeling hot with embarrassment as she wiped her damp cheeks. "Yeah, I just...thought I would get some fresh air." She shuffled her paws with unease. It wasn't easy to allow her clan mates to see any weakness from their medicine cat. "A lot has been weighing on my mind. Y'know, being a medicine cat in leaf-bare is no easy feat." That was part of the issue. She lost Softpelt, her apprentice, due to a change in paths. She was happy for her former apprentice but now she had to find another apprentice. It was hard enough doing it alone but training also takes time. She couldn't admit what was really on her mind. It wasnt fair to Mapledusk for her to dump all of her issues onto the poor tom cat.
"Actually, I was just about to go check the waterfall for some herbs. Perhaps some of them were sheltered from the frost. Did you want to come with me? I could use the company..." Her eyes rounded as she looked up at him pleadingly but it was a subtle plea. She wouldn't force him to come with her.

Mapledusk's blue eyes brightened at Fawnheart's offer. It didn't escape his notice that she wanted him to come with her. He only hoped that he could find a way to cheer her up. "I would love to go with you." He answered with a soft smile. Mapledusk still sensed something else was bothering the medicine cat but decided to let her tell him if she wanted to on her own terms.
"There's not a lot of cats that has the talent to work and heal others like you do. I am sure that you are doing the best that you can and the clan is grateful to have you as their medicine cat." He paused suddenly feeling his cheeks warm with embarrassment. What Mapledusk said was true, but it wasn't often that the warrior said what he thought and felt.
