Dusk did little in providing cover for the slender tom as he made his way down to the bottom of the ravine. His midnight fur easily stood out as he climbed down the snow-blanketed ground. Why any cat would travel down there at night was a mystery in itself, but for a sickly twig like Shiftingspectre, it was more worrisome than anything. Yellow eyes flashed upward for an instant as he scanned the towering walls on either side of him, before they shot forward in clear focus. Crouching now, he slunk slowly ahead, more concentrated on scent than sound.
