Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Adeline limped through the caverns, a small trail of blood trickling from her paw as she growled in frustration at the wound and the mild but repetative pain. It had been a stupid way to injure herself, darting in head-first for a mouse in a tighter, rockier areas of the tunnels that was actually good for hunting. One wrong step had costed her the prey, and had gained her a one way ticket to the Garden and likely the watchful eye of her older brother.
It wasn't, perhaps, the worst of scenarios, and she figured with a day or two's rest she would be back up to hunt another day, but the idea of resting now when they needed all cats on duty as possible left a bad taste in her mouth. Not to mention she hated the idea of saying she's gotten taken out of work while hunting a measely mouse of all things.

Psyche sniffed the air of the Garden, picking out the iron tang of blood amongst the earthy smells. The albino cat had a better sense of smell than sight, though in the lower light of the tunnels she could see just as well as any other cat. It really was only in the daylight that she was nearly blinded by the sun, lacking pigment that helped the eye function normally. So she had become a guider, though with an exceptional skill for foraging.
“What happened?” She asked, gathering some basic wound care. Cobwebs and a few different herbs depending on if the wound was a bite or scratch. It would not do to have a scout laid up due to infection if the wound was properly treated. Plus she would hate to have to go back and re-treat a cat, that would be embarrassing to her.
There was a hint of relief that the cat she met up with wasn't her other sibling. She hadn't been in the mood for a lecture on being accident prone, or how this was the fourth time she'd injured herself in the last month. It wasn't as if she tried to get herself hurt, but she also was never too intent on being careful either. Apparently, that was enough to have her constantly walking back here.
"I managed to cut my paw hunting a mouse. Probably on one of the rocks." Adeline explained, her tone barely biting back the intense bitterness as she recollected the situation.
