Jayjack (Cleaver ) & Chaicrisp (simplylight ) - friendship date Feel free to decide if your cats signed up for this themselves or was signed up by someone else!
It was obvious who the culprit behind this pairing was, as one of the cats organizing the blind dates was Chaicrisp's sister. Jayjack and Chaicrisp had been told to meet at Heron Lake, which, in this cold weather, was completely frozen over. As Chaicrisp had been heading out, Pumpkinspice had pulled her aside to tell her what she wanted the couple of "friends" to do: ice sliding, before wishing her sister luck.
(aka ice skating, but without skates c; also i actually did roll this couple, believe it or not oop)

A mad blush rose to her cheeks as Pumpkinspice's words lingered in her thoughts. The ground under her paws was coated with soft, powdery snow and, despite the chill that rose up her legs, should couldn't think of a more romantic day. It was no secret to her sister how Chaicrisp padded after Jayjack like a lovesick squirrel as an apprentice. Now she was a full warrior and had matured since then, but she still only had eyes for the grumpy tom.
Chaicrisp picked her way around the boulders, holding in a breath as her eyes wandered the lake. She should have been in awe by the ice and beauty of it all, but instead she searched for him secretly scared he wouldn't show up.
Jayjack had been quite surprised to hear someone volunteered him for a blind date. Obviously, he was honored, and it was a sensible choice; he was a great friend. He was just puzzled that whoever had arranged this didn't approach him directly. Did someone want to be his friend but was too scared to approach him? Did they believe he would have more respect for this type of arrangement? Blind dates were so impersonal, and he did like that.
The resplendent gray tabby entered the lake area with his head high and cool blue eyes searching for his date. Hm, the only cat here was one of the new warriors; was she to be his new friend? Jayjack judged her. She had been a good listener, obedient, and her skills much match their standards if she had been promoted. Not a bad choice at all, he decided, and he closed the distance between them. His head bowed politely, he greeted, "It seems you're my friend-date for tonight, Chaicrisp."
