Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lionpride waited for his son outside of the nursery. With so many kittens running around it was difficult to give them all one on one attention but he was determined to make some time for each and every one of his twelve kits during the romance festival. He was going to allow them to decide how they would spend their time together "I'm all yours Strongkit, what would you like to do?" stardance
Strongkit yawned as he left the nursery. To be honest, he would rather have just slept for a little bit longer. His dad interrupted his mid-morning nap. How could he think to do that? Whatever. He looked to the fresh-kill pile and nothing looked particularly appetizing. "Why don't we go catch us some food? Everything over there looks gross." Despite being only five moons old, he had already reached the size of a typical new apprentice. And, he didn't quite realize it yet. He jumped up at land right on his dad's back.

He nodded in agreement "Your a little young, but it will give you a bit of a head start on your training. You have to stay close to the me though, promise?" Lionpride wasn't unreasonable but with his burned paws he didn't want to risk running into any enemies. So they would go on a short trip to see what they could find nearby their camp. He nosed his son that was now on his back affectionactly, luckily he was big enough that the kit's rough play didn't bother him to much unless he hit his sore paws
"Yeah, thanks dad. Everything over there just looks cold, and I can't eat that." He kneaded his dad's back as he began to settle in a bit. "I would have tried to get up earlier, but I was distracted by the goose." He yawned and rested his head right behind his dads shoulders as his dug into his fur. "Maybe we could find a bird... birds are really tasty..."

"Goose?" he chuckled, not really understanding what his son was talking about. He let Strongkit rest on his broad shoulders as he walked through the maze. It was probably safer that way, making sure that he didn't try to run off one of the dead ends. The maze could be dangerous, but so long as he was on his father's back Strongkit would have little to fear.
"Yeah, yeah. The goose. The one that slept in Bloodystar's den last night..." The kitten yawned as his father began the walk out. Really, walking rhythm was quite soothing. Too soothing for early in the morning. Obviously, it was time for his mid-morning nap. In that short time in the tunnels Strongkit managed to fall asleep. When Lionpride stepped out of the tunnel, the kitten fell off. It turns out he had something to fear.

Lionpride moved under his son as he started to slip off, cushioning his fall. When he still didn't wake he lifted Strongkit by the scruff so that they could keep going. Strongkit was always falling asleep in odd places and times. It had worried him greatly at first, but he had been reassured that it was just that he was a growing boy and that with time he would frow out of it.
