Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
PREMISE: In what appears to be a misguided attempt to 'prove' to his mate Brownie that he actually can be good with children sometimes, Cradlegrave has offered to take a bunch of SwiftClan kits on a short trip around SwiftClan's current territory in order to prepare them for when they eventually move somewhere else. This was probably not a great idea since Cradlegrave barely knows how to talk to one kit. Feel free to reply with any kit characters you have, or tag along as another apprentice/adult chaperone!
"Alright, everyone," Cradlegrave said, standing outside the SwiftClan camp's exit. He did a headcount of everyone that was there with him, then did a second headcount. His honour was resting on this working out smoothly--and he already didn't have a lot of honour, which meant he couldn't afford to lose any at all. "We'll go in a wide circle around camp, pointin' out all the things you gotta be careful of when we do this for real. Think of all this as a practice, alright?"
Fawnkit nodded boredly and looked around, wondering how easy it would be to sneak away in the inevitable chaos that would ensue. "Sure, whatever," she said, shrugging. "Practice schmactice, let's goooooo!"
Scoutkit was a littleeeelotta large for a kit-- about the size of an adult crouching down-- but she tagged along with the group behind Cradlegrave, only getting lost once on the way though that wasn't saying much because they were just out of camp. "Let's get this heffer moooOOooOOoOving," she chorused from the back of the group, pointedly staring at Cradlegrave.
Okay, so Regalpaw wasn't TECHNICALLY a kit, but at least he was more convincing than "Scoutkit". He crouched down at the back of the group, trying to stick close to her in the hopes that her size would make him look more kit-like in comparison, although it probably just made the both of them look more conspicuous. He was on a very important undercover mission, and he was pretty sure that Cradlegrave was the cat he was looking for. Cradlegrave was the one had stolen his license, and he was going to get it back.
"Heffer?!" Cradlegrave said, eyes narrowed at Swiftscout--Scoutkit--whatever the hell she was calling herself now. "I barely weigh anythin' soakin' wet." To make matters worse, another blatantly-not-a-kit Regalpaw was looking at him funny. Not that that was a particularly uncommon reaction, in regards to him. He shook his head and began to lead the party forward, slightly more on edge than when they'd first stepped outside.
Frostykit noticed the look Regalpaw was giving the deputy and nudged her shoulder gently. "What's with the glaring?" she asked, gesturing to the deputy with a flick of her head. "What's he done? Give me the gossip."

"Come on! Enough with the glares. Let's go!" Dandelionkit bounced on her paws next to her sister Fawnkit. Her parents were always so worried. She wanted to actually be in the world, not stare at it like it was a painting in a museum. The golden kit looked up at Cradlegrave, who was yelling at Swiftscout. Using the distraction, she bolted past Cradlegrave and out into the territory.
Fawnkit was among the oldest of the kits present although, compared to her much younger cousin Dandelionkit, she wasn't all that much larger. The pale brown she-cat suffered from a heart condition that impeded her growth... as well as restricted her physical abilities.
"Yeah, what's the hold up? We need to hurry quick before Je--- I mean, before it gets too dark!"
Fawnkit was very rarely allowed out side of the current camp, forget exploring it with a bunch of other kits. This was a dream and she knew that the minute her mother, Jetfire, caught wind of it, that would be all she wrote. So, brushed up against Cradlegrace's legs and looked up to him with big pale blue puppy dog eyes, "Come on, come on!"
Regalpaw leaned over to Frostykit and, in a conspiratorial whisper, asked, "Have you ever heard of a medical license?" which was something he definitely had at one point. It had nothing to do with being a former kittypet whose Twolegs let them watch too many medical dramas. "Well, Cradlegrave stole mine," he said.

Sparrowkit was so excited she couldn’t stand it! The little taupe she-cat ran forward, practically weaving between Cradlegrave’s paws as she bounced around him. “Where are we going?! Is it a patrol! I almost went on a patrol once when Chimerastar was still leader! Oh! Are we going to collect herbs for Firetooth! He’d really like that! He’s teaching me how to find my own bone marrow too! I think I took it today, I don’t really remember...”

Dandelionkit would have been lost if not for her golden pelt standing out against the remnants of snow on the ground. She tuned out the bickering of the other kits and adults as she dove into the snow. Her backside was hanging out from the pile like she was a fox jumping for a vole. Her paws wiggled happily until she realized she couldn't get out. Struggling against the snow, she was suddenly pulled out and plopped back onto the ground by her older sister, Dawnfrost.
Dawnfrost quickly put her prey in the fresh kill pile before turning to Cradlegrave. "Want... help?" She still had trouble speaking, and even all the kits made the words hard to come out.
Scoutkit pointedly ignored Cradlegrave's rebuttal, instead darting after Dandelionkit who seemed vastly more (un)qualified to lead the group. She, too, dove into a snowpile-- which was actually an ice pillar covered in snow, and the sound that was caused by her skull making contact with it was horrific. As the sickening crack fractured the quaint air, the back half of her body drooped out.

Dandelionkit shook the snow off her head, golden body covered in the small white snowflakes. Her paws rubbed them as she tried to get her bearings. But she was shook out of them by the crack next to her. She jumped before sprinting over to Swiftscout. That didn't sound good. What was she supposed to do? Tears pricked the corners of her eyes as she ran over to Cradlegrave, grabbing one of his legs and pulling it. "Cradlegrave! Come on! Swiftscout... I think she's hurt."
