Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
FlurryofstarsracerHoneystorm @samiam strawberrycupid here's a thread for the shadowhunter apprentices! He was no fan of staying at the academy. Sure, he loved training here and learning everything that he needed to know, but he hated being stuck at the academy for all this time. While they were let out for hunts and such, it didn't quench his need to explore the territory with new eyes. Rather, eyes that could now see properly. He knew that runes painted onto him had to reveal more than just the Academy, and the Maine coon just had to see it. So he woke in the middle of the day when their mentors would be asleep, or mostly asleep. His sun yellow eyes swept the other apprentices before he yowled. "C'mon, let's go, time for some training!"

Vantapaw was one of the few awake. His sleep schedule was all out of wack with training in the day and the night. He needed to clean the runes off of his pelt before going back to Sunclan. It'd be an easy tell, and he didn't want Sunclan to know he was spying on them for Moonclan. He was about to, but kept dozing off on his feet until someone came into the den and yowled at them. About jumping out of skin, Vantapaw whirled around. "What? Since when have we done this during the day?" He asked the cat who's name he forgot. There were too many to keep track of for his mind to grasp.
At least one of them were awake. He grinned at Vantapaw and walked over to him with it plastered to his face. "Oh, there's no training but I wanted to get out here for bit. Now that you're up do you wanna come with?" It was maybe not the best way to make friends, but he had to start somewhere and where better to start then anywhere? "It'll be fun. Just you and me, seeing what we can see with our new runes." He turned to look outside of the Academy. "There has to be so much more out there that we just haven't seen yet with these runes."

He was getting tired of his constant running back and forth, painting new symbols each time he crossed the borders. He'd have to come up with something major to get himself out of trouble, but that was future Vantapaw's problem. His dark blue eyes still had sleepiness in them, blinking and rubbing them. "Sure. I am curious too." He answered.
Nocturnepaw wasn't so easily woken, not having slept in several days taking it's toll on him, when he opened his eyes to see that it was broad daylight, panic raked through his pelt as he jumped up. He wasn't supposed to still be here. He should of gone back to SunClan before dawn... Taking a deep breath to sooth himself he looked between Ravenpaw and his litter-mate. "And where are we going exactly? Are we just going to wander the territory until we see something that may or may not have been there the entire time?"
Surprise spread across his face when they both woke and, well, weren't annoyed at him for waking all of them up. Surely if the roles were reversed, and say, Nocturnepaw woke him up, then all of SunClan would break loose and he'd never let it go. "Ah, well, yeah. These rune's gotta do something else right? Like this can't be the only thing that we can now." He rolled his eyes. "I mean, should you even get to see it Nocturnepaw? You're just going to tell SunClan anyway, so maybe you should just go back to sleep..."
"If I get to go back to sleep so does Vantapaw" he pointed out. "He's as much SunClan as I am" he smirked, before giving his littermate a playful shove. "Though then you'll be by yourself and more likely to get in trouble if you get caught... So, I guess you'll just have to deal with us tagging along..." The Bengal couldn't help but crack a wide grin. As much as Ravenpaw loved to provoke him it seemed Nocturnepaw had just as much fun getting a rise out of the other student. "Unless you want Silentquiver to wake up and find you're the only one not in the academy?" he asked, tilting his head as he waited for an answer.
Well... he hadn't considered both of those issues. A light growl escaped from his lips at the other tom spoke. He didn't want to be the only one out, and, well, he hadn't considered that Vantapaw also went to SunClan. "Well... uhh... I guess you should come then. Both of you. I'll take the lead. But if I tell you to look away, you have to. I know y'all run your mouths in SunClan, and they don't need to know any of this."

Vantapaw's eyes began to shut, sleep taking him over for a moment until Nocturnepaw lightly shoved him. He laughed some under his breath as he caught back up on the conversation. "No doublestandards, Ravenpaw. If one of us can't go, I'd rather just go back to sleep." He spoke plainly, lightly shoving Nocturnepaw back. But even with Ravenpaw's supposed rules, there was no way Vanta was going to listen to them. He was gonna watch every moment he could.
