Newman Eclipse and Bleedingheart are sent out to the desert for the elusive "cactus juice" the liquid is said to come from cutting up a cactus and collecting the water inside, however the spikes make it quite dangerous and even hours of collecting is on likely to get you enough for one dose. However this juice is said to be able to soothe a wide variety of ailments. Cleaver @atomheart
Bleedingheart sat at the edge of the desert waiting for her next mystery date to show up. She wondered if anyone had figured out the identity of her kits father and that was why she kept getting set up with SunClan cats. Though she was going to raise her kits in SunClan with the Sun God, they still would know their true parentage when they were old enough to meet their father. She just hoped this date went better than the last, with less poison.
Newman Eclipse was troubled by this date. Mountain had insisted he go, but Newman only had a heart for Aurorasky, so he feared this would be a colossal waste of everyone's time. He ought to be with her, not going on this date... unless the date was with her?
Unfortunately not; when he arrived at the desert, it was with a cat the new initiate didn't even know. "Hello," he greeted. "I am Newman Eclipse." The tom was emanciated and had knots in his ratty fur, though not from a lack of care. His fur was as straight as he could manage, it was simply too dirty and wiry to stay groomed, and he had done his best to make it look neat even with the tangles.
