She couldn’t contain her excitement. They had finally found it! Sunclan! Her paws could hardly stop kneading the ground as she forced herself to stand still. Daisy had all but raced through the forest in order to get to the tunnel entrance that Crow had described, leaving her father figure and her brother behind to eat her dust. But now she was here. Her tail twitched erratically as she started bouncing along the border.
“We’re here! We’re really here! Are you excited? I’m excited!” Daisy squealed as she looked down into the tunnel, her voice bouncing off the walls. The tortoiseshell she-cat curled her tail up, quickly turning her head as her brother finally made his way to her side. Their fluffy kit fur had gone, replaced with the lean bodies of budding warriors… though that didn’t stop Chimera from panting and nearly plopping down right next to her.
“Excited… thrilled… tired…” Her twin muttered as he tried to get his breathing under control. Daisy couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Chimera. She couldn’t tell if her brother was being dramatic or if he was being serious. Regardless, she gently patted his back.
“Not my fault you partook in one too many rabbits on the way here.” Daisy countered. “I told you not to eat that fast.” Chimera didn’t respond. He only swatted his sister’s ears gently as he smirked at her.
The siblings shot ahead of him, understandably eager, and they had eight good legs between them where he only had three, all of which were laced with trepidation. The last time he'd come to SunClan territory had been in the aftermath of the fire, and at that time he had thought his sister was dead and her ashes strewn across the ravaged ground. A lot had changed since then, but the effects lingered on his psyche. Still, he cared immensely for the duo and had promised Daisy to show her the way to her aunt's clan, his former home.
Chimera was sank to the ground and Daisy practically bouncing off the walls by time he arrived, tussled fur in disarray and standing on end along his spine. "Settle down now," he warned as he approached them, bright eyes scanning the camp. It looked to be in much better condition since the last time he'd been here, decorations of all sorts adorning the walls and an atmosphere of comraderie due to the ongoing festival, but that still wasn't enough for him to drop his guard, especially not with the twins present. "We'll wait here for someone to come by. We don't want to get off on the wrong paw by going in further."

Daisy had been quick to turn around at the sound of Crow's voice, and she all but bounced over to him with an audible purr. "Do you think they know we're here? How will they know? Do-"
"Jeez, Daisy..." Chimera said as he stretched out on the ground. "Crow said to settle down, so let's settle..." The tortoiseshell tom mused. Daisy shot a half-hearted glare over at her twin. She couldn't understand why he wasn't as excited as she was. They had finally done it! They finally made it to their mother's clan, they were going to meet their aunt! He could have acted a little more excited. Instead, the lithe she-cat turned her attention back towards her surrogate father.
"You were in Sunclan once, weren't you Crow?" She asked innocently, excitement caving into nerves as her stomach began twisting and turning in anticipation. "Are they nice? They won't care that we're outsider's will they? Technically we're Sunclan cats too. That should count for something, won't it?"
Daisy's enthusiasm was certainly one of her most endearing qualities, and it was one that he was going to miss now that she'd found her place. "I was," he ascertained as he sat beside her brother, but he opted against regaling her of the tales of his childhood. Her experience in SunClan was bound to be vastly different from his own and he wanted her to form her own opinions on the character of the clan based on her own life within it, not based on his. "They will likely take you in as an initiate. You'll learn the ways of the clan, and once they see that you've accepted their way of life, you'll undergo a test. If you pass, you'll earn a warrior name and a place in SunClan. Knowing your aunt is We- Shadeflower, it's unlikely they'll turn you away-- SunClan is big on keeping their blood in the clan."
Around them milled many faces that were familiar to the young tom, those who shunned him for something as simple as his name. Chimera and Daisy had always looked upon him as confident and just, but the cat that they would see beside them looked much more juvenile, paws shuffling and tail-tip flicking uncomfortably, making every effort to avoid eye contact with his former clanmates who were beginning to notice the trio.

Chimera let out an audible groan the moment he heard footsteps within the tunnel. The young tom had only just managed to relax and now he was expected to get up again. “Lay down... get up... next they’ll make me dance for them...” The tortoiseshell said a bit over dramatically as he slowly stood back up, kicking at a pebble that had come to lie by his paws. He trudged back over towards Crow and his sister, sitting down with a huff.
Daisy had the opposite reaction of her brother. She had been listening to Crow’s words eagerly, as she always did. But the moment she heard the paw steps echoing through the tunnel, she had quickly turned her head. Her amber eyes grew wide, glimmering with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Suddenly growing very self-conscious, the young she-cat quickly started smoothing down the fur along her chest. Daisy looked back up, and let out a nervous breath, slowly inching closer to Crow and fighting the urge to hide behind her as if she were still some young little kitten.

The footsteps grew louder and louder until a large shadowy figure loomed in the entrance of the tunnel, so large that the cat had to duck in order to not hit their head on the rocky overhang. One paw came into the light, scabbed pink skin stretching up from the toes towards his shoulder, the massive paw landing onto the ground with a loud thud. Followed by patchy silver fur and golden eyes. Devotedcrow would have known the tom before he left, but with the severe burns that were only part way through the healing process it would probably take them a moment to realize with whom they had just came face to face.
Lionpride stood tall despite his frightening appearance "Crowpaw" he greeted, smiling a little seeing the two younger cats with him "So you have returned to us after all, we all thought you had been lost in the blaze or captured"

“...What kind of cats do they breed here in Sunclan.” Chimera muttered to Crow, not caring whether the large tom heard him or not. The tom looked Lionpride over with wide green eyes. “Hey, if I’m part Sunclan you think I’ll get that big? I’m still growing right?” The tortoiseshell questioned as he stood as tall as he could. Even going as far as to stand on his toes and puff out his chest.
Daisy had been less enthused, even letting out a small mewl as she finally sunk back behind Crow. She hadn’t been expecting to see such a large tom. In fact she never saw any cat as big as this warrior. Her amber eyes could hardly focus on anything but the burn scars that littered his body. What on earth had happened to him? She glanced up nervously at Crow. “Who is he...?” She asked him nervously. woofracer
