The sun was starting to rise above the trees when a small she-cat padded unknowingly into Springclan's territory. The she-cat's pelt was singed by the fire she barely escaped. To top it off, she was expecting kits and scared. Morningdew raised her head wearily as she tried to smell past the stench of smoke on her pelt. But she was too tired to travel further and laid down under the tree panting heavily from her terrifying escape. Of course the young queen was unaware of the cats that had spotted her. She was simply too tired and hungry to move.

The black and white she cat made her way around thd area to double check on the borders. At first there was nothing out of the ordinary until she caught the scent of another unknown cat and...smoke? Ahead she spotted the other she cat and marched right up to her. She was prepared to challenge the other when she noticed the small she cat was burnt and with litter, but it was hard to tell by how far along. Instead Faithfulfeather walked up and made her presence known. "Why are you in Springclan territory and who are you?" While she wasn't aggressive she was however abrupt and straight to the point.

Morningdew's blue eyes widened in fright and made an attempt to sit up despite her exhaustion and large belly. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't realize there were other cats out here." She apologized, fear prickling the fur that remained. "I was trapped in a building with my twolegs and they left me inside when it caught on fire. I escaped and ran as fast as I could. I don't know where I am."

The black and white warrior sighed a big sigh, jade green eyes now giving the look of sympathy. "Safe to say you're no threat in the condition you're in and it seems you have no clue what even Springclan is...you aren't allowed to leave now you are in our territory as you are so you are going to follow me back to the camp to speak to the leader. Jetstar will decide what she wants us to do with you, but I swear on Starclan I shall not harm you nor let any harm to you. Come and follow me this way, the thunderpath is too close by for my liking and the way to camp is quicker this way." Faithfulfeather flicked her tail to the right and started on the path pausing to wait for the other cat to follow. "I'm Faithfulfeather by the way."

Morningdew stood up slowly paws heavy with exhaustion. "Thank you Faithfulfeather. I appreciate your help." The young queen admitted softly following the warrior at a slower pace. Despite her fear, she was geninuely interested in what Springclan was. All she wanted was to be in a safe place when her kits arrived, which didn't seem to be too long from now.
"You can call me Morningdew." She added realizing just then she hadn't given the she-cat her name.

"Can do." Faithfulfeather was quiet for a decent part of the trip thinking of what the leader would do and say for this she cat. Walking along the familiar path to her the Springclan warrior finally found something to say, "Not that it's any of my business but why were you in our territory? Did you get lost trying to find your kitttypet home or family or something?" She asked not unkindly but rather curiously.

"No. My home was on fire." The queen responded between shallow breaths. Morningdew had never felt so tired before and since she had rarely left her home her pads felt as though they were on fire. "The family left me inside and I found a way to escape. I was scared and ran all the way here." She explained barely dodging a branch in time. Since they left her in the home she wasn't even sure she wanted to go back. It was not the first time they ignored her. The small twoleg had loved to pull her tail and fur and the big twolegs seemed to be too busy to keep it from hurting her. Now that she was expecting kits she didn't feel like they would be safe there.
"Pardon my curiosity, but what is a kittypet?" She asked realizing for the first time since she met Faithfulfeather that some of the words that she used were unfamiliar to her.

"It means you're a pet of the twologs…your domesticated and not a wild cat like we are. We rely on one another and on ourselves to survive out here. To eat, to find warmth, shelter, ect. You aren't freely given things but work hard for them one way or another, but at the same time you make friends and family that will more than likely have your back for the most part. Well depending on what group or clan your in not all of them are like that but Springclan is pretty good about it. It's not safe out here yet in return you get to truly live with freedom than being trapped and unable to do things." Faithfullfeather found the path turning close to the camp but not quiet there yet.

Morningdew fell silent for a few minutes pondering what Faithfulfeather had said. She wasn't used to being around cats, but on the other hand she may not be as bored sitting on the seats her two legs had soaking up the sun and watching birds fly from the garden. "Do you accept cats that haven't lived in a clan before?" The she cat asked. Even if she had wanted to return to her twolegs morningdew doubted that she would want to.

"We do, and you will find that a good majority of cats in here are either loners or rouges or ex kittypets. Some of the cats are even from old groups or even some others clans, so you'll learn quickly what life is like for us. Your kits should also be safe in the clan as well. We have a place specifically with other queens with kits who work with one another to help care for all of the kits. Which is nice if you ever need a break for a short bit. We try to work with one another instead of out for ourselves which is what separates us from say rouge or loners groups." Faithfulfeather saw the camp in eye sight now as she slightly picked up the pace. "We are here, welcome to Springclan."

The she-cat noted the added quickness to Faithfulfeather's steps and picked up her pace despite her exhaustion. Once Morningdew stepped into camp, her blue eyes widened at the scene that surrounded her. The first thing she noticed was the freshkill pile. The scent of the food wafted in her nose and her stomach made a loud gurgle. The business of the clan wiped away her exhaustion and the pain of her burns and cuts were temporarily forgotten.
"Oh wow. Its beautiful here." She commented as she swung her eyes around the camp noticing the cats within the clan. Out the corner of her eye she noticed some kits playing by one of the dens.

"Yes it is a wonderful place, is it not? It's usually peaceful and safe thanks to the warriors that help defend the clan, and healthy thanks to the medicine cat." Faithfulfeather gave a relaxed sigh, "I think you'll like it here. Your kits will be safe and grow up with friends their age...and if your hungry feel free to get yourself a piece of prey to eat. More cats will come to meet and talk to you. I don't know where Jetstar is but she'll be around sometime. More than likely busy doing leader stuff."
