Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Darkpaw padded after his sister far out into the territory until it was just the two of them. The two siblings had always been close, in fact it was harder to find them apart than together. Her disappearance to the regime had only reinforced his fears, as he hardly let her out of eyes shot "I hope your blind date went better than mine" he huffed, the words he had been holding in came tumbling out all at once "Bloodystar paired me with resilientbloom, the little white Janus. She is find and all, but what really made me made was what Bloodystar wanted us to do" most cats would have been shocked to hear the young apprentice talk so much, but Soaringpaw would have been used to it by now "He wanted us to sing Karaoke. ME?" he blinked, tail lashing behind him as he walked "I won't even talk in front of the mouse-brained cultist and he wants me to sing a love song with Resilientbloom. What a joke"
The black furred tom was pretty clearly bothered by the whole affair "but it gets worse... Bloodystar is up to something Soaringpaw. Have you noticed how he has paired all of us up with one of his kits?" his steps faltering for a moment before he continued and caught up "I don't know how, but hes going to use this against our parents one way or another. Of that I have no doubt" Jadie
"My blind date was boring. Balancescale is sweet but he can't keep up with me. Too indoctrinated," Soaringpaw replied as they continued their walk though SunClan territory. They were headed to the boneyard, a favorite haunt of theirs, especially since Soaringpaw hand fun digging around in the sand for fossils and Darkpaw seemed to have an affinity for parkour. She smirked when he mentioned karaoke and kicked a pebble down their pathway, "Who knows, brother, you may have an amazing voice. She could be trying to draw out your maximum potential... or maybe she's just trying to figure out what makes you tick. Seems like something a Janus would do.
"Anyways...
"Yeah, I did notice that he put us all with his kits. I wasn't really surprised, though. He's used marriages since the beginning of his leadership as ways to force loyalty. It's work for him before so it makes sense that he'd do it again," She paused and took a deep breath just as the boneyard came into view, "If I said I wasn't worried I'd be lying, but, so long as we all stick together, I'm sure it'll all work out. As much of a dork Duskslayer is, he'd die before he let any of us be forced into something like that... and I don't think Bloodystar would ever hurt him... I hope..."

"Potential" he rolled his eyes, still visibly upset by the whole ordeal his fur slightly bristled outwards as he ranted his terrible first date "Perhaps, but it was Bloodystar who set the location and topic of the date, and I don't see Resilientbloom being able to think that far ahead. Most of these SunClan cats are as shallow as mud puddle" he was already longing to get out some of his pent up energy and running through the course he had created would do just the trick. He and Soaringpaw wouldn't even have say where they were going, they could simply just be together and pick up on the smallest of cues
"Oh I'm sure Bloodystar thinks he's being real sly right about now" he huffed, if it had been colder the cloud of smoke he would have produced would have been enormous "He would know that Duskslayer would never allow us to be forced into a marriage, so I'm sure his thought process is that if we get up with enough encounters maybe we will actually fall for one of his brain-washed children. Its not that hard of a veil to see through, though his kids seem to think that our pairings are some act of the Sun God's will. Its all a bunch of mouse dung"
Finally reaching the bone yard he raced ahead of his sister, leaping hard onto one of the larger bones and flipping back to land beside of her "I can't help but pity them, its not their fault their father is that way. Bravepaw said that the daughter he got paired with was so worried about the date going well that she tried to convince him to kiss her even after he told her that he was into guys. How desperate do you have to be to do that? She literally cried because she was so worried about what her father was going to think"
Soaringpaw mimicked Darkpaw's moves pretty easily, although of the two he was better at this sort of thing. Her brother may not talk much but he was absolutely dedicated to his training, it really was impressive, she was almost jealous of it. Darkpaw could take directions and run with them; she always had doubt seeded in her heart and the driver to question them. Perhaps it was why the two of them were co close, for one excelled in what the other lacked... Not to say that Soaringpaw couldn't hold her own. She was Shule's grandchild, too, after all.
"I'm not sure if Bloodystar even thinks," She meowed as she regained her footing, her electric blue eyes cast toward her next target, a high-up bone that had been used as a slide so much that there were actually groves down its side, "But I really do believe that those kits of his have kind hearts, Darkpaw. They may be shallow but you really can't blame them for it given what happened to them. You do realize that Bloodystar pulled them away from their mother's side, publicly humiliated her and then threw her along with their father into prison? I know they were young when that happened, but no younger than we were when we left the Regime. They aught to remember."
Soaringpaw arched her back and leap on top of her little bone perch, tiptoeing her way up the spine, "Sorry, you did say you pitied them. I didn't mean to jump down your throat. SunClan's mindset is messed up and it's getting to me. I don't understand why Duskslayer brought us here, we could have stayed in the tunnels and been perfectly happy..."

"I vote we just leave" He cared for his family, but this whole romance festival thing was unsettling him to say the least. He couldn't help but worry about was to come, even with the reassurances that Duskslayer would protect them. If he could turn and do that to his mentor than he could just as easily turn on Duskslayer as well "Dad and mom have made up their minds, but that doesn't mean we have to stay"
Darkpaw padded underneath the ribcage and staring upwards as they towered over his head. He haunched down, before leaping and grasping onto the bones with his front paws and pulling himself upwards until he stood up on the top "We can go back to the regime on our own and wait for them to join us, we don't have to be stuck here" wasting no time, he ran down the ribs leaping from one to the next until he was back on the ground again "I know you don't want to leave our family here, but that is the same excuse they give for not leaving" he could still remember their fathers story of wanting to help the prisoners escaping, and they all refused "If we stay here I don't know that I will be able to protect you Soaringpaw" he raced over to her, skidding to a stop in front of her
