Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Try to have it make sense and prod forward the plot.

The black tom inhaled a deep breath of the smog in the city air. This wasn't his homeland. This couldn't even be considered a place he was staying. If he had it his way, he would've remained in SwiftClan as a nomadic people – however, life in the nomadic lands was growing too uncomfortable for even the outcasts of his world to survive. Instead, the great sects migrated to the league, where they found comfort and structure where they had, in SwiftClan, been lacking.
The silver and red eyed tom turned his head to the side, startled momentarily by the sudden presence of his dearest friend since the move to the league.
"Ah. You scared me." He smiled and leaned his shoulder against hers in a playful leer. "Missed me too much?"

She turned her head slightly, though her eyes weren't cold, they were very much nonchalant. "Don't flatter yourself," she responded, though there was a deft amusement lacing her words that she would otherwise not use with anyone else. "What's troubling your mind?"
The black tom pouted in an over-exaggerated manner, turning away from her. His teasing manner started to fade, though, giving way to what was going on under the 'mask' he wore: his usual, smiling expression fading to something quiet and clouded. "Since we've arrived here, the episodes have gotten worse."

Nekaria regarded him silently for a moment, a small frown playing at her face only slightly. She knew him to be a wayward, playful soul; seeing him so troubled felt foreign to her. A much gentler expression frayed her edges now, like a soft and fuzzy film as she replied, "Well... I could help you a bit more if you... I don't know, elaborate more for me?"
The black tom glanced to the corner of his eyes, silver flashing completely red momentarily, away from where her presence radiated like a shining beacon. "The darkness. The negativity. I've done the clarity rituals, I've tried my best to stave off the shadows... No matter what I do, it only seems to invigorate them."

Well now she was just concerned, which made her feel a bit restless. Her body relaxed and she tilted her head to the tom with an inquisitive expression. "Do you have any idea what to do to stave it off?"
Jaw clenching, he whirled on her with a snarl, silver eyes red. "Don't you think if I did I wouldn't come to you?" The tom closed his eyes, breathing deeply, and allowed himself a moment of meditation to calm his racing heart and the blood rushing through his veins. Silver eyes bared to the world once more, he offered her a cowed expression, "I'm sorry, Nekaria."

Nekaria didn't seem too phased by this, in fact, her expression softened even more. The slender cream and auburn colored feline stood now, casting him a sarcastic expression. Her reply was quipped with some amusement, and some sincerity, "Well, I work best when a clear answer is layed in front of me."
He, too, stood at her movement, "All I know is that whatever this is, wherever it's coming from, it's getting stronger. If I could guess..." The tom glanced toward the forest where once the league, too, resided, "I'd say it's coming from somewhere in there."

She followed his gaze with an expression of interest; this, she could definitely work with. Nekaria stretched up to gaze at the distant outline of trees, wind ruffling the tops of the branches. "What say me and you take a stroll there, some time soon, like old times?"

She felt her blood suddenly surge with excitement, getting up with a leisurely stretch. "You're never one for dull moments, are you?" she responded with a newly invigorated expression.
