"Icespash!" She called, voice sing-songy if a bit muffled by the crow she was dragging into the medicine den. Cherrysky had been here three times a day since Icesplash was moved here, taking diligent and obsessive care of the tom she'd loved since she was an apprentice. He was getting stronger and stronger but Cherrysky insisted on babying him. Dawnmemories was in the corner, distant and haunted looking as always, and Cherrysky nodded politely to her as she set the crow down and licked Icesplash's ears, "got ya a crow! Sorry if it's scrawny, it's still really cold out. How are you feeling today? Wanna take a short walk?"
Icesplash was laying in a sunny patch right next to the entrance of the Medicine Den, trying to keep warm as best he could on a chilly day. Graythorn had made him go through a number of hard exercises that morning to help build up his strength, and get him used to walking around on three legs. It was a lot of tough work, and the elder was thoroughly tucked out. Hearing that oh-so-familiar voice enter the den, he peaked open a single hazel eye to glance up at her. "Cherrysky? Back again already?" He was playfully teasing, of course, but it was becoming more and more difficult to hide the blatant tiredness in his voice every time the eager she-cat appeared. Cherrysky's efforts were clearing coming from a genuinely good place, and he was flattered his long-time friend was so worried about him, but...
"I'm doing alright," he meowed evenly to her, "But I'm not in the mood for a walk right now. Just finished my exercises for the day, so I wanna take some time to rest first." He paused, weighing his options for a moment before adding, "You wanna come and sit with me for a minute before you head back to your duties?"
