"If you put up Join Summer, life time of friendship. And I put up life time of possums, don't you think the more interesting people joining the school would apply to mine?" Glow asked, her smile widened when as she spoke, shifting into that genuine, contagious grin.

Despite Glow's own confidence her group was lower on the totem pole. There was practically no one Day didn't accept, they had no elitist status. Majority of the time they would even take back people who ditched or betrayed them. The only social defense Day had was their leaders lack of shame and ability to break a bat over anyone's head who mocked them.

Glow placed the possum on, of all places, a public coffee table in the middle of the hallways that was truly meant for either eating a quick snack at or studying. Now it was infested with dead possum germs and whatever else was spilling out of it. Worse she was just feeling around the possum without any gloves what so ever, "You're Haven right? Haven Rock, pretty name."

Glow spoke as she pulled out two live baby possums from a pouch with one hand. Using her other hand she unzipped her leather jacket to her green hooded vest she wore underneath and placed the baby possums into her pockets.

"Uh, is it because of that time I ordered vanilla cake with what looked like chocolate frosting, but was actually vanilla frosting? I didn't realize how crazy everyone was about chocolate. It was a mistake. So was mixing m&m's and skittles. I saw people mix pretzels and m&m's I didn't think it was going to be a huge deal, it's fine though, Ruby is head of snacks now."

"I just mixed food coloring until it was brown and mixed it in the frosting. Thought it looked better that way. And hey, you still haven't said why you wouldn't join Day. There are very few places I'd refuse to join and most of them I'm just banned from or find creepy," Glow said, grabbing the mom by the tail and throwing her out in the trash, it was too cold out to dig a grave for it anyways.

Glow sat down on the couch in front of the coffee table. Bits of gore still spread across its smooth white surface. She couldn't imagine even being apart of Sun. Although she actually was apart of Sun and Day, but leave it to Fox to somehow get that allowed to happen.

Glow took the hand sanitizer rubbing her hands together, thinking over Raven's statement out loud carefully, "We're never the same person we were yesterday. Sometimes I wake up and I want to be back in Water going on fishing trips with them. And sometimes I find myself feeling bitter about Day's short comings and wish to be back with Primal where I could do as I pleased. It took me a while to realize this, but our home is often not where we want to be, but where we need to be. I think in different stages of my life I needed to be in different places, but at this point in my life I need to be here in Day. Not because they need me, but because I need them, they make me a better person. I don't know if I'd ever want to go back to a thousand yesterdays ago when I would have intentionally run over a possum to hear the blood squirt to gross out the drivers behind me. Even if mixing skittles with m&ms is still a pretty heinous thing to do, but at least it's accidental."

She swished her pigtails to the side as she grabbed out two tiny purple fleece cocoons and stuffed both of the opossums inside before offering one to Raven. As if offering a baby opossum was an equal gesture to having been offered hand sanitizer.

Glow turned to look back at the trash can, "Yeah, they're hers. I'll have to take care of them for a month or so. Hey what major are you in, I feel I've seen you around before, I'm in Economics."
