Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
For the month of love SpringClan’s rolling out a new thing we’re going to try!
To promote closeness and encourage cats to make a connection in their pursuit of a special someone, we’re going to do SPEED DATING.
Any cat that is apprentice aged or up may participate!
Here are the rules!:
1. You may bring as many characters as you like. But every character you bring will have a thread that other characters can enter. We will have a masterpost listing all these threads with links to them.
2. Your character gets four posts in every thread you enter. Say you went into Jetstar’s thread with Acorndaisy. Acorndaisy would get four posts to introduce himself and try to make an impression on her. After that, you’ve gotta dip out so the next person can have a turn.
3. Your character can only interact with one character at a time in their thread. If Puddlejumper enters Jetstar’s thread, Acorndaisy has to wait until Puddlejumper and Jetstar have finished their interaction before entering Jetstar’s thread.
4. If you sign up more than two characters, note that you can only have two at a time in other character’s threads. -For instance, say I brought, Lightstep, Jetstar and Softpelt. I could have Softpelt go into Acorndaisy’s thread, and Jetstar go into Brushfur’s thread. I cannot however, have Lightstep then go into Puddlejumper’s thread, until I’ve finished up with Jetstar or Softpelt
5. Once you reply to a thread, you have to get your 4 posts within 2 days after that first post was made. - This is to prevent, say Bristledown, from entering Jetstar’s thread with a post and then not replying for days. Meaning no one else can come in and interact with Jetstar.
Please note that much like in real life, the goal of Speed Dating is to get you to interact with as many characters as possible. In the four posts you have, your goal is to get an impression of the characters, not try to have a whole date in four posts.
If your cat meets someone they like they’re encouraged to make a dating thread, or reach out to the matchmakers: Dancingdragon woof and Softpelt Jetclaw who will set up a surprise date for your character and the one of their choosing XP.
These sign ups will run from now till February 14th, where the event will begin!
