Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Since her return to SpringClan from her brief departure to assist her brother in rescuing Littlestar, she'd noticed she was very sluggish.
More annoyed than concerned, the balinese she cat brushed it off. She had work to do, she couldn't let a little unwellness slow her down after all! She had things to do, a clan to run, and territory to oversee.
Unfortunately, it had been while she'd been out leading a patrol with her apprentice Coralpaw, along with Goldengriffon and Raggedpaw that the tickle in her throat became something she couldn't ignore.
"One moment." Jetstar meowed, voice a little raspier than she'd have liked. The leader turned her head and coughed trying to ease the tickle in her throat... only for the cough to devolve into a fit. "StarClan." She hissed after getting it under control, she forced herself to straighten up only to stumble as she began to feel rather woozy.
(biyuu ☆彡, Nova, woof, since I figured you guys would have the most fun playing out a thread with jetstar getting sick XP)
Coralpaw's eyes widened as she darted away from Jetstar, putting a good three metres between her and her mentor. "Oh, no no no no no no. I am not catching whatever nasty disease you caught from whatever Clan you just went to. I don't have enough good karma to survive something like that."
"I'm fine." Jetstar stressed even though it was defeated by how raspy her voice sounded, and the fact she had to turn away and start coughing. "Okay... perhaps it would be wise to head back to camp." She said softly. "Goldengriffon, take the lead please."

“Coralpaw, why don’t you run back to camp and inform Fawnheart that we’re coming. Let her know that Jetstar is feeling a little congested at the moment.” Goldengriffon said as he made his way towards Jetclaw’s side. “Raggedpaw, I will need you to walk alongside Jetstar for now in case she needs support every now and then.” The deputy placed a paw on Jetstar’s back for a moment.
“We’ll take it slow. It could be your body just getting used to the atmosphere up here.” Goldengriffon said, trying to think of a logical explanation for the sudden turn in her health. “Fawnheart will know what to do, but for now, we’ll just take it slow.” woofJetclawbiyuu ☆彡
"Hey, Goldengriffon? Coralpaw?" Raggedoaw stood at least six fox-lengths away from where Jetstar was trying to hsck up a lung. "Didn't the CDC regulate that masks be worn anytime you're in public? This looks public to me." She wasn't about to catch no virus, no siree.

Goldengriffon flicked his ears as he stared at his apprentice. “CDC? Masks? Raggedpaw are you sure you don’t have a fever?” He questioned with a flick of his tail
Coralpaw rolled her eyes. "Raggedpaw, we're in New Zealand, remember? Nobody's wearing masks here anymore, the government shut everything down like they were supposed to."
ok now for the actual reply
As much as Coralpaw didn't want to catch whatever gross disease Jetstar had, she bristled at Goldengriffon's suggestion that she should've been the one to go back to camp. "You just wanna get rid of me, don't you?" she huffed. "I bet Fawnheart will be pleased to see me in her den. Not." With that, she slipped away into the undergrowth with a faint grumble.

Goldengriffon flicked his ears, staring after the two apprentices before he glanced over at Jetstar. "Is there something in the water? This apprentice's have seemingly gone mad..." He muttered. "No matter, let's get you back to the camp. Fawnheart will be able to give you something for that cough." Jetclaw
Fawnheart was in camp. Many of her herbs did not make it this far into leaf-bare and she was forced to clean out her store with worries weighing heavily on her mind. She feared they would not have enough herbs if someone poor cat were to come down with white-cough. She was irritable and frustrated as she flung half of her stash of catmint into the dispose-of pile. Jetstar would have Fawnheart by the throat if she suggested asking other clans for more herbs but that may be just what they will have to do to make it through the rest of leaf-bare.

Coralpaw trudged into camp and into the medicine den. "Fawnheeeeaaaaart," she groaned, "Jetstar caught some nasty disease and she needs your heeeeeeeeeeelp. Get ready, she's like...not breathing and stuff." Maybe if Fawnheart thought the situation was a lot more dire than it actually was, Coralpaw would get the rest of the day off--claim she was traumatised by seeing her Clan leader keeling over like that, or something.
At Coralpaw's words, Fawnheart casually walked across her den until she reached one of the walls and bumped her head a couple times on it as if she couldn't believe the luck she was having. She let out a frustrated groan that carried on for a good few seconds before turning back to Coralpaw. "Alright, Coralpaw. Where is she?" The medicine cat responded with a treaded expression on her face.
"Oh, y'know, out there somewhere." Coralpaw waved a tail dismissively in the general direction of the camp exit, then frowned. "Okay, okay, I'll take you there. Follow me." With that said, she turned tail and left out the door, leading the medicine cat to where she'd left the patrol.
Fawnheart gave an eye roll before following the apprentice to where she had left the rest of the patrol. Upon arriving on the scene, Fawnheart could immediately see Jetstar was not well. She couldn't understand how she hadn't seen it coming. Perhaps she was too preoccupied in her own problems, she hadn't noticed how sick Jetstar was becoming. Her eyes were duller and tired-like. Her body was drained and she could smell the illness. She approached her leader, an irritated expression on her face. Without asking for permission or rather explaining her reasoning, she instantly placed her ear to the leader's chest and heard the gentle and steady rattle of infection. Fawnheart took a step back and gazed sternly at her leader. "How long?" She asked. When she was met with confused expressions, Fawnheart made herself clearer. "How long were you going to wait before you told me you were sick? That infection has already began to spread to your lungs. I could have prevented it getting this far if you had come to me sooner. I hope your plan wasn't to leave Springclan without a leader again. Now come, we need to get you warm."
Raggedpaw, tentatively at Jetstar's side despite that she really didn't want to be anywhere near the unholy hacking, perked her ears at Fawnheart's comment. "Jetstar is DYING?!?" Her big, round blue eyes began to quiver and filled with tears. "Who's going to be Coralpaw's mentor if she dies?!" Becuase that was the biggest concern here.

Goldengriffon placed a gentle paw on top of Raggedpaw’s head. “No, Raggedpaw, Jetstar is not dying.” The deputy said quickly. “Starclan wouldn’t give Springclan a leader only to take her away from us so soon. Now come, on.” Goldengriffon said, as he adjusted his shoulder to help support Jetstar. “Help me bring her to the Fawnheart’s den. Then you and Coralpaw can take a break.”
