Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
neverstarstar sorry it took so long oop From the moment he was tossed in this cave, his entire life had changed. No, that wasn't right, he was in here for a reason. If Fabledashes had to trace back to the point in time where his life changed, it would have had to be back when he was a kit, when Fabledpaw had convinced him that he would be a hero if he could bring back a twoleg head to the clan. Oh, how foolish he was. How could he have believed anything that she said? Now, after having nothing else to do besides being trapped in his own memories, it was obvious that Fabledpaw had lied her way through life. That was how she got people to like her and turn against him, it had to be. As far as he could remember, he had never told a lie. Was that why he was viewed as the villain now? Should he have lied when he was found after killing her? If he had, would he be free now?
His green gaze turned towards the guard just outside of the cave. Normally, he had two guards, but it seemed whoever else was assigned with his guard duty today had skipped out. Perhaps he could escape, simply distract her with something? He leaned a little over, putting himself in a position where he could actually see his guard. It seemed to be Magnoliawhimsy - a cat that he hadn't yet had any interactions with. Maybe he could try lying his way out of his prison. Though, he had no idea if she was gullible enough to believe anything he said. Still, it was worth a try, wasn't it?
life is a lot, and I'm sorry for how much it impacts me here

Guard duty, what a waste of time. Magnoliawhimsy had only just returned from wherever it was she constantly disappeared to when she'd been ordered to guard Fabledashes. She, of course, was aware of his crime and that one shred of knowledge kept her from arguing or simply not going. What kind of cat was he? Had he done it one purpose? Would he do it again? Did he like killing?
Magnoliawhimsy so wanted to ask, but it felt too much like revealing herself and that wasn't in her plans. So instead Magnoliawhimsy stood as silent sentry, rigid and narrow-eyed, feigning disinterest in the prisoner. They were alone, Ravendagger had instead being asked to go on a patrol, and the quiet between them felt fraught with possibility for the young cat.
