Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Isn't this nice, Handsomepaw?" Cherrypaw sighed, flopping onto her stomach. Her tail was a mere few inches away from the surface of the water, blowing softly in the breeze. "Doesn't it feel so...romantic?" The she-cat had never spoken to the tom before now, but like most people she interacted with for the first time, she was already deeply in love with him.
Handsomepaw had pretty much been sunning on his own, when the she-cat showed up, and lifted his head to blink at her, confused, though he wore a smile. "Hello, have we met before?" He asked sweetly. Of course, by her comments, he assumed one of his parents had sent her to him, though he would have thought they'd send someone he actually new.
Cherrypaw blinked at Handsomepaw through her lashes--which weren't really long enough for her to be pulling a move like that. "Only in my dreams," she smiled, with a mouth full of crooked teeth. "After all, I am your blind date. It's not a real blind date if you've met the person before, y'know?"
Handsomepaw still wore that same bewildered smile as he tilted his head with a light laugh. "In that case, it's still not fair. You know who I am, but I don't have the pleasure of knowing someone as cute as you."
Cherrypaw felt her heart flutter so fiercely that she almost thought she was going into cardiac arrest. "Look at you, living up to your name," she purred, and brushed up close--quite possibly too close--to him. "I'm Cherrypaw, handsome. The one and only."
"You seem seem as sweet as your name, too." Handsomepaw countered easily. If he was uncomfortable by the closeness, it didn't show, as he gave her a sweet smile and gentle purr, far too nice to actually suggest he maybe didn't like her all that much, or that she creeped him out.
Cherrypaw giggled, her pitch and speed rising until it sounded more like a hysterical cry than a laugh. "Not as sweet as you," she purred. "You're much nicer than all the other tom's I've hit on--I mean, talked to. All the other girls are going to be so jealous."
