Jadie / here is my hat thrown to the wind aka soaringpaw It was the day after his promotion, and he was already looking for mischief and adventure. Not that the lack of a -paw suffix kept him from exploring, the little prince of Moonclan finding no issue in prancing dangerously towards the Sunclan border. The sun was just setting in the sky, the clan named after them about to fall asleep. The shadows would camouflage his short dark pelt perfectly, and his eyes blended in with the night sky.
Vantapaw reeked of Moonclan, and while aware of where his parents came from, knew absolutely nothing of Sunclan. Marvelstar tried to hide it away, like a skeleton in the closet. But Vantapaw was fascinated by bones and death and what he didn't know, so he crossed the border without an issue. Maybe just seeing the place would give him an idea. But the scorched earth under his paws was already uncomfortable.
Soaringpaw didn't much care to defend SunClan's border, much less its border with MoonClan. For one both Clans were weak and it wasn't in either's interest to stir up trouble anytime soon. For another she frankly didn't like either of them, the minute they started to allocate all of their successes to the supernatural instead of their own hard work was their downfall and a tool easily abused.
"Are you looking for a fight or are you just stupid? I guess in either case the answer must be yes," Soaringpaw said as she approached the black-furred tom, she was perfectly calm save fur a little patch or fur at the base of her neck raising slightly, "This is SunClan territory and judging by that stench you must be MoonClan."

It was incredibly convenient someone had already found him, and they were by themselves too. Vantapaw leaned against a tree as the Sunclan she-cat approached him, completely relaxed as he found interest in cleaning his claws over her.
"So aggressive right off the bat." His voice was still too high to sound threatening, a betrayal of his new status as he faced her. It was clear just by looking at the two that she would win, he had no training and was too slender to throw a decent hit. "Though you also could have told since Moonclan is right behind me." Vantapaw gestured with his head back behind him, "Anyway, it's the second that I'm here. You hear all these things about other clans and wonder if they're true." He knew it was a silly curiosity that landed him here, unaware of how familiar it was in the family.
"You shouldn't be surprised. SunClan is notoriously the most aggressive Clans in the Forest territories... and you're from the Clan that helped kill their deity. With that in mind, I'm practically a saint for not skinning you alive already," Soaringpaw had a sort of detached way of describing her affiliation with SunClan. It was like the Clan was its own entity apart from herself, which was certainly an uncommon mindset among the notorious single-minded cultists, "If education is all you're after, then you should go to DayClan. Goldenstar's not Glowstar but she'll probably still let a string-bean like you tour the territory."
Soaringpaw still wasn't quite sure what to make of this raven-furred tom. Normally if she came off aggressive other cats would just scurry back over to their border and she could go on her merry way. She was strong, she had the blood of Shule and several other powerful cats in her veins, and others could get a sense of her prowess with just a glance into her electric blue eyes. It didn't work with Vantapaw, though. Was he just stupid? Or did he call her bluff?

"True. But it makes it all the more enticing from an outsider's perspective." Vantapaw's lip quirked up. The sort of aggressive yet dethatched way the apprentice spoke intrigued him more than frightened him. He was one of the little princes' of Moonclan, no one there would dare speak to him like the way she did. It was refreshing, at least until it would begin aggravating him. But it was fine for now.
"Dayclan always sounds so nice. But it doesn't have the answers I seek. Only Sunclan does." Dark blue eyes glowed with determination. He couldn't give up just yet. He had no clue if she even knew who the Silhoettes were. Who his grandmother was. Vantapaw wasn't the striking image of his father Ryn, but he was close. They were supposed to be in the shadows, but he might get lucky again. "Where are my manners. I'm Vantapaw."
"I'm Allaria," Soaringpaw chose to offer up her Regime name to this stranger since she liked it better and didn't get to use it when back in camp. Vantapaw would be non the wiser and it didn't matter anyways since she doubted she'd see him again, "I guess can show you around some... but we'll need to stay close enough to see the border. That way I can chase you off if anyone catches us and explain it away."
Much like with her Clan name, Soaringpaw also didn't care much for the tight borders and rules. The Regime was arguably almost just as strict but she actually respected Shule unlike Bloodystar, "Where did you want to go?"
