The blizzard caused a harsh, bitey wind to blow through the tunnels. Like a poorly-tuned instrument they whistled and disturbed her sensitive ears. Nottingham was a scout of small stature, exceptional hearing, and sticky toes. See something shiny? No you don't because it's been tucked away into wherever she hides her shiny trinkets. Many overlooked Nottingham's talents because of her raggedy-rascal appearance. Described as looking, "...like she fell in a bucket of oil and never cleaned it off," she wasn't exactly the most attention-catching cat of the bunch. Funny, she couldn't exactly remember who had spoke that description. Whoever it was nailed it, and she willingly embraced it. Nottingham liked to be a cat in the background, never noticed as she slipped a mouse out of the pile, a gem out of someone's collection, or the occasional two-leg trinket that amused her. Her skills of thievery and hunting were exceptional and no one would ever know it... At least she thought.
Nottingham squinted her eyes against the cold air zipping through the tunnels as something sparkly caught her focus. "Oh, who would leave such a precious gift?" Her voice was hushed just in case someone happened to be nearby. As quick as a rat spreading the plague, she snatched the shiny stone and slipped into one of the tunnel crevices to admire it.

"Find something?" Brilliance was a Scout. Well, technically she was a SunClan cat, Littlestar's daughter. She was in the Regime because they'd saved her from where Bloodyrondo had her in prison, and patched up all her broken bones and the like. So, with the snow situation, and her mother's whereabouts unknown, she thought to stay for a bit, Bloodyrondo wouldn't look for her here.
The large siamese patterned feline leaned down to peer into the crevice, too big herself to actually get inside, though clearly she'd noticed her fellow Scout darting inside.

Nottingham stifled a gasp at the other cat's sudden arrival. She tucked the stone closer to her body and squinted. "No, I didn't find a thing." Her wary stare lasted a few moments and didn't alter when she added, "And how did you find me?" No one ever caught her... This whole situation threw her so off guard that she forgot to whisper.
