[Wolf moon gathering time means all clans are allowed to attend!]
Blue-grey fur sleek and glistening in the pale moonlight, the tom strolled into the clearing with his head high and eyes unafraid. Believe it or not, this was his first time attending a gathering, and he wasn't sure what to expect; but he wouldn't let that fear show. His features settled into a careful mask of authority, pride, and certainty, and his blue gaze roamed over the empty landscape with interest. "First clan here. Hmm," he mused. That wasn't surprising, given they were a bit early, but he was entertained nonetheless.
Crossing his way to the large tree the leaders all shared, the blue tom propelled himself into the tree, swaying until he reached a sturdy branch to sit upon. From there, Reznor-kun sat waiting for the other clans to arrive, his army right behind him, his white ribbon hanging straight.
PRIMAL INSTINCT This was Viatrix-kun's very first gathering and she was not going to let her stupid brother lead the charge without stealing some of the limelight herself. She was wearing her very best blue bow and looked pretty as a picture especially when compared to the rest of the League which had grown thinner and scraggly since the big monsters came. She swiped at Reznor-kun's hind legs when he jumped into the tree, "We're not a Clan, you idiot, we're a restitutionary group!" Cleaver
SUNCLAN Last to arrive at the previous Gathering, but second this time around, SunClan began to stream into the clearing in a loose formation. It was apparent that the Clan had suffered greatly in the past moon: Skinny, ragged, scarred, burned, the cats of SunClan did their best to hide their weaknesses with body paint but it could only do so much.
Bloodystar's eyes scanned the League for a moment and he let out a sarcastic laugh as he noticed it was being led by a kitten. He swatted the kitten out of the branch he was in with a short growl and then leapt up to the best perches - usually claimed by several DayClan cats, since it seemed they always moved in groups of three or four - and sat there patiently awaiting the arrival of the other Clans. The white she cat made her way with the rest of Dayclan, her blue eyes sparkling in the moon light but with a distant look in them. As usual Wintershine was lost in her own mind thinking of how beautiful the night was and how wonderful it is to see so many other cats from different clans. She didn't notice the other cat before bumping into them. The other cat was a she cat who looked rather annoyed, but in fairness her fur was rather dark and if not for her orange eyes Wintershine wouldn't have guessed she was there. In a dreamy voice she applogized. "I didn't see you there, I hope I didn't hurt you at all."
Lightember was just standing there obviously in the open with a few of her fellow Fallclan warriors only a short feet away. One moment she was chatting with another tom from another clan when the white she cat just walked into her. Of course she would be annoyed, who wouldn't be paying attention at a time like the clan meetings? Lightember heard the white she cats apology which seemed sincere and gave an annoyed sigh. "Look just be careful where you walk and keep your head out of the clouds, okay?" Her stern statement was followed by an equally stern and piercing look. The white cat blinked and gave a small murmur of thanks before walking off seemingly as dreamy as she had walking into her. Shaking her head Lightember turned to the tom she was talking to. "Sorry about that, what were we talking about again?"
The tom gave a chuckle, "Nothing important I assure you, just about clan life. I'm going to head back to my clan but it was nice chatting with you." With a polite nod Intrepidsoul headed back to his fellow Swiftclan members. He found the Fallclan she cat to be a rather straight laced feline but not unkind and the white she cat from Dayclan (what he assumed was Dayclan from what he guessed) was amsuing to watch. The grey and silver tabby tom headed to his group, curious to see where the night would lead.

SpringClan was under...new management. The powerful, dark-pointed form of Jetstar was nowhere to be seen among those that trickled into the clearing; rather, the deputy, Goldengriffon, was accompanied at the head of the clan by one of the Trusted, a brazen white feline who'd definitely be recognized by those she'd started arguments with at previous gatherings. Dancingdragon strolled in with her head and tail held high, lofty jade gaze eying the branches overhead with a giddiness she couldn't suppress if she tried, and she wasted no time in ascending towards one of the higher ones, the golden deputy in tow. If anyone cared enough to look closer, they might catch a glimpse of the tether around his neck that she was using to drag the tom with her despite his many mumbled protests and rapidly graying muzzle.
"Ahem," she cleared her throat and cast Bloodystar a disinterested, even disgusted, expression. "Murderous, tyrannical, wife-beating, Sun-God-kissing heaps of foxdung that set their clans on fire don't get tree privileges. You should do us all a favor and just die instead." Message delivered, she blew a sarcastic kiss in his direction and swiveled around so she didn't have to look at his ugliness anymore. That, and the burnt smell was really bad for her sinuses.

Primal Instinct
Funk E'tan was glad they looked less shabby than Sunclan, and didn't even attempt to hide it. Their fur had lost it's shine, their ribs were clear to see on everyone other than the fluffiest of cats, but Funk walked in proud. Like he was given new life, and the reason would be clear soon. He was in a good enough mood to let the new trainees lead everyone in, a little prize for passing his test. The first of many.
He laughed under his breath as Reznor-kun climbed the tree, and went to follow him when Bloodystar knocked him out the tree. Despite the strain he immediately felt on his muscles, he was quick, catching Reznor before he hit the ground. "You good?" Funk tilted his head, letting Reznor get his balance before sending him off to join the others. He climbed and settled on a branch above Bloodystar as Dancingdragon gave her speech, not even trying to conceal his laughter. As they left, he reached down and swatted at one of his son's ears. "I would say to try and not make more enemies, but it's far too late for that. How does it feel to surpass the likes of Foxbane and be one of the most hated cats in the forest?" Funk wondered if he remembered what he said two gatherings ago, his voice insulting but still trying to push the conversation.
"I know that," Reznor began hotly, fluffing up his fur as he glared at his sister. "But I-" he cut off with a sharp yelp as Bloodystar pushed him and he pitched over the side of the branch, his paws flailing and missing the branch as he tumbled down. His life flashed in front of his eyes as he waited for the inevitable impact, already twisting to land on his paws, but before he hit the ground the Nemesis snagged him. The blue tom sagged in relief as he felt his paws hit solid ground again.
"Yeah, thank you Funk E'tan," the trainee blinked at him appreciatively as the Nemesis bounded up the tree again. Did this mean his time leading the group was over? Well, it was cool while it lasted. Reznor-chan skimmed the gathering with a careful look and saw a white she-cat standing alone. He bounded up to Wintershine and immediately asked, "Did you see me up there? Pretty cool that I'm that important huh?"
Coralpaw snickered at Dancingdragon's speech. Dancingdragon may have been one of SpringClan's Trusted--which meant in turn that she was one of Coralpaw's Not Trusted--but she enjoyed seeing Clan leaders getting taken down a peg. "I hope a huge fight breaks out," she said under her breath. "I feel like slamming some heads together."
PRIMAL INSTINCT
"Better luck next time, Reznor!" Lemonade-kun chirped, taking a seat by some other Primal Instinct members. "And Viatrix-kun, I think you'll find it's not restitutionary, but requisitionary. It's okay, we all make mistakes," she added, utterly confident.
SPRINGCLAN Servalpaw found himself sitting by Coralpaw, equal parts because he was too lazy to make friends, and because the gossip from his fellow terrible trio member was always scalding. "She's in a good mood tonight," he agreed, glancing up at his mentor. "My bet's that in a couple minutes, SunClan will have a meltdown with all the bullying. I'm picking Primal Instinct to win," he meowed, before glancing at the nearest apprentice. He might not want to make friends, but he could at least involve some other cats, right? "How bout you, who do you got?"
NIGHTCLAN
This was the first time she was taking the stage, but for once, there was no trepidation in the feline's eyes. Any doubts that she had about her own merit were quenched for the night, and she strode into the gathering with her head high. This was the start of NightClan's rise to a formidable force. After all, no amount of leg work in the clan meant much of anything if the other clan's didn't recognize your upcoming strength.
"Feel free to disperse," she meowed to the patrol that she had brought. "Be aware of your surroundings, avoid cats that you cannot tolerate, but enjoy yourself tonight. You all have proven over the last moon that you deserve a good night." She smiled once more at her warriors, before moving towards the tree.
She arrived at it just soon enough to watch Bloodystar knock down the child. Her fur ruffled slightly, but she resisted the urge to comment as much as she could. After all, it seemed that Funk E'tan had done a good enough job at defending his own kind; she didn't need to join in.
"I see we are starting the night off strong," she meowed to no one in particular from her perch, her gaze syphoning through the leaders who had already taken the platform. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you all, for what it is worth." Was this a lie? Absolutely. She had secretly hoped that Ratstar and SummerClan had arrived first, if only because SummerClan was the only group in the forest that wasn't half-psychotic. Oh well.
WinterClan soon arrived looking better than most. Where many suffered in winter, these cats prospered. It was their season, their element and they wielded it with pride. Stepping forward towards the other leaders, Wintrystar, Sovereign of WinterClan, lead her group before all the others. Their heads were high and they carried many with them this moon. Some newly promoted, other newly married, and many more returning for yet another gathering they'd been to before. Crystals shown form their necks, telling of their rank within their clan. Wintrystar's is a scenic quartz and as she walks, it catches the moons light almost showing it off more. Her clan settled behind her and intermingled with the other cats as she took her place in the tree, far away from all the other leaders as usual. Her branch, or the one she'd been claiming for moon now, was secluded and a long branch that stuck out away from the others. It was nice, and helped separate herself from the others, especially since she didn't much like outsiders and that included all non-WinterClan cats in her opinion.

FALLCLAN Lightember watched the clan and group leaders from where she was at. Interesting was a good word it that's for sure, and she knew this night would more than likely not be a boring one. A shame though that some of the leaders were rather foolish, she thought with an unamused expression upon her face.
DAYCLAN Wintershine looked down at the younger feline and gave a kind genuine smile in return. He was young but didn't deserve to be treated like that. The white she cat gave a rare quick glare at Bloodystar, it was so quick it was as if it didn't happen, before sending her attention back to Reznor-kun. "That did look really cool up there, and I imagine the view is wonderful too. I'm Wintershine by the way of Dayclan."
SWIFTCLAN Intrepidsoul sat himself between some cats he didn't recognize or know but that didn't matter. Like Lightember his attention was that to the leaders above. Unlike her though it was hard to tell what he was thinking as his face was unreadable. He would make sure to keep an ear out and tell his fellow Swiftclan members what had occured at the gathering.
Summerclan strolled into the clearing rather casually; the usually warm-weather-oriented cats not too worse for wear despite the harsh cold of the season. Ratstar for the most part, looked quite healthy. His scraggly brown tabby pelt was a bit thicker and more well-groomed than most would remember, and, as usual, there was a gorgeous flower crown of bright pink camellias and deep purple heather adorning his head. Though, as the leader climbed the tree to claim a branch, there was a bit of a tired heaviness to his step. While closing the borders for the worst of Leafbare had kept his clan well-fed, the one-eyed tom had instead discovered a number of difficulties within his clan that had to be dealt with. The past moon hadn't been an easy one, but Ratstar wasn't about to show any sort of weakness, not in front of this bunch. "Aspenstar," he meowed with a friendly smile, dipping his head to her in greeting. @ian
Grasslizard marched into the gathering with his head held high, a full warrior of Summerclan at last! Pushing past the crowd to get a good look at the Leaders' tree, he paused mid-stride upon seeing the mischievous, yet imposing figure of Funk E'tan lounging above him. The League leader...if he squinted, he looked a bit like him, didn't he? Shaking off a feeling of unease, he took a seat near the front.
DAYCLAN Leopardpaw padded a little cautiously into the gathering space, looking around in awe at all the cats. It was his first gathering and he wasn’t sure where to begin. His eyes scanned the crowd before spotting a few other apprentices. He came to sit next to them, tilting his head as Servalpaw spoke. “I think you might be right. The Sunclan cats look pretty rough.” He agreed, surveying them.
SPRINGCLAN Shadowpaw bounded after her clan, eager to attend her first gathering. She looked around, unsure of where to sit. She debated sitting with her own clan, but decided that she might as well take advantage of getting to meet new cats. She moved to the front, sitting next to a few younger looking warriors.
Glowstar walked into the gathering, the last anyone saw of her was being devoured into flames. They had even buried her body after going to war with SunClan, but as it turned out it was all Bloodystar's trickery. Since then Goldenstar had stepped back to being an Immortal Council member and Glowstar had returned as leader.
"Hey everyone, turns out I'm alive. You know how SunClan is, always pretending I'm dead," Glowstar said, as though describing a band of pranksters.
Strolling up casually to the tree she leapt up, climbing to Bloodystar's branch. "He's still my favorite leader, I thought life was going to get boring with Littlestar, but Bloodystar's never failed to toss some chaos in my life." She said. Letting out a warm breath she turned to Bloodystar, "I just wanted to let you know I'm okay, but I can't just stay in SunClan. I can visit, but I can't stay, that's just how it is for everyone. But Bloodystar, I love you no matter what, my heart, will always be a home for you, come to me anytime you need me." She placed a comforting paw over the priests before leaping up onto the higher branch beside Funk E'tan taking a seat next to him.
Her emerald eyes looked up into the nemesis gaze, only moving away to lean into his shoulder, her auburn tail moving around his, "I think you gave me some pretty good advice last time we're here," Glowstar said before sneaking a quick kiss to his cheek, "This time I'll follow it." She promised Funk E'tan.
"Who are you and where have you been all my life," Autumngossamer purred, delighted mischief dancing in her warm honey gaze. She was an impossible figure to miss, the ex soothsayer who exposed the Sun God's violence and controlling sexist nature. "I'm Autumngossamer, would love to judge people with you sometime."
Misty Rose watched the trainee plummet from the tree with a laid back expression. But her eyes widened wait a minute. That little fluff ball that was being thrown out of the tree was her son! "REGIN!" She called desperately, "Not it!" She said quickly, putting a paw over her nose. Everyone knew that if your kid went splat, you had to be the one to clean it up. She was not going to clean up after Reznor. However Funk E'tan came in and saved Regin from cleanup. Oh and also Reznor's life.

Hearing Coralpaw's comment, Misty Rose nodded, "Gathering fights are the best kind out of any war or battle. It's also great because you don't have to participate unless you want to."
Rottenfang's amber eyes stretched wide, his entire body was lowered like prey sneaking around a swarm of predators. He had never tasted so many scents, seen so many clans or cats. Some of these clans he had never heard of like NightClan. Did they have demons in their clans too? For as much as Rottenfang thought he was blending in he wasn't. His tail had deep bite mark indentations from punishments he earned from stupid mistakes. The back of his head and flanks were sliced up in deep long scars, not the typical battle wounds. Especially not any wounds a young warrior like him should have. Unlike the rest of WinterClan him and his siblings bellies were thin, ribs visible. One scent did stick out to him though, FallClan. Was Ravenspaw maybe here? He had to be a warrior now too. Instead when he followed the scent it led him to Lightember.
"Oh um. Hi, do you know Ravenspaw? Probably goes by a warrior name now," Rottenfang guessed, but immediately doubted himself. He was talking far too boldly, he was a demon, if he did this in WinterClan he would have been struck for speaking so openly. "You don't have to answer that, I'm sorry, I'm Rottenfang... From WinterClan. I don't think I'm supposed to be here even though they said it's okay."
She never knew how much she could feel her eyes move until her eyes had no use. Since returning to SunClan Blindfaith had traded away her sight to save her clan, now that startled excitement when she spotted someone she knew was gone. She tried to find it though, her fathers paw steps were like an elaborate dance, ever changing, never the same way the next day, like his body held many souls. For her, her paw steps moved like fluttering beats of a humming bird, graceful, precise. When she recognized the steps of a new cat falling in beside her at the front of the crowd she turned to him. "SummerClan right?" Blindfaith asked Grasslizard, but her eyes were unable to meet his. Her eyes held a blue color that not even the sky could compete with, bright like a lake from another world, an untouched blue too pure for this world. Her calico coat didn't give away any of the traditional SunClan colors, but the paint on her fur did. "I'm Blindfaith." Oh wow, why didn't I come up with conversation starters before engaging in conversation? "Soooo, first gathering?"
A gasp sounded behind Shadowpaw, "Are you looking for boys too? I've been at the gatherings tons of times. I wish I could have started young, but SunClan doesn't allow that. But now that I'm older I like to set my eyes on a piece of fine fur and latch onto him," The she-cat said, practically drooling over the imagery playing her head, but broke free of the thought, "Oh! But I'm Gingersnap, SunClan, you can probably tell by the paint on my fur," She said gesturing to the symbols along her flame point siamese fur. "And you are?"
The voice behind Shadowpaw startled her a bit and she jumped, glancing back at the other she-cat. “Oh, I’m not looking for anyone like that. Just looking to make some friends I suppose. I’m Shadowpaw, I’m a new apprentice in Springclan. This is my first gathering so this is all just a lot to take in.” She chuckled. The paint on the other cat’s fur intrigued her and she examined the markings. “I’ve heard that Sunclan paints their fur but I’ve never seen it before. What does it mean?” Faith

FALLCLAN Lightember turn towards the tom that was speaking to her with a stern expression upon her face. Although her face masked it well she was taken aback by his appearance, how had a cat get so scarred up? His behavior too was rather odd, almost as if he was a kit about to be chastised. The black and orange she cat gaze softened to that of warm kindness. "I'm Lightember Rottenfang, it's a pleasure to meet you. As far as a Ravenpaw goes I do not know of one but we do have two Raven's in our clan. I however don't know which one is the one your looking for or if even either of them are Ravenpaw. Still I am rather glad you attended and have gotten the chance to make your acquaintance."
"Oh wow, Shadow, what a scary name for a cat," Gingersnap said with surprise, but her eyes soon glowed with interest at the apprentices question, "Yes, this wave means that I was born in December. Depending on what moon you're born it means what type of person you are. The circle on my forehead indicates my rank as a Janus, and so do the black colors on my pelt. But I never liked the color black much," Gingersnap admitted, "At least not in full body paint, I always felt a little too mean or edgy," She explained shyly, her paw rubbing the fur along her tail. "Anyways, tell me the story behind your name? Like my mom named me Ginger because I have a ginger face, but why would someone name you Shadow? Did you come from a scary family?"
"Oh, I suppose Ravens could be a common name in FallClan," Rottenfang nodded slowly. WinterClan had lots of common names, especially Wolf. His paw traced over his other paw for comfort. His pelt felt on fire at the she-cats pleasantries, those were usually spared for people who weren't demons. But then the thought occurred to him, maybe cats didn't know a demon when they saw one, only WinterClan knew he was one because they knew who his mom was. But maybe it wasn't recognizable by looks alone. Of course a name like Rottenfang was kind of a give away, no one would name their kit that, maybe he should have gone with a fake name like he had done before, but it was too late now.
He dipped his head respectfully to Lightember, "Pleased to meet you too." His paw was pressing down deep onto his other paw now, he probably should stop talking. Be thankful that she had been nice so far, but he had so many questions and unfortunately she was the only cat he'd met that hadn't lashed out at him. "Hey um... What happens at Gatherings?" He asked with a twinge of worry. After all maybe this was where they executed people and that was what Wintrystar had in store for him.
FALLCLAN It was the first gathering in moons that Fallclan had actually showed up for. In fact, it was only the second one that Hystericstar led his clan to, and of course it had to be possibly the coldest one. The last time he had been to a gathering, Hystericstar's appearance had been an eerie one, but this time it took all of the effort that the hairless tom could manage to stop himself from shivering. His poor paws were almost numb from the trek through snow, but he kept his golden gaze forward, focused on the tree, unwilling to let the other clans see him suffer because of something so simple. Despite the state of the leader, the rest of the clan was healthy. The plague had only affected the kits, after all, and with all of the feasts Fallclan enjoyed during leaf-fall, there was no lack of food.
Breaking off from his clan, Hystericstar jumped to a lower branch of the tree, not trusting his frozen paws on anything too high. It was only then that his gaze took in the rest of his surroundings. At least we didn't arrive last. Still, it seemed like Fallclan's long absence had caused him to miss quite a bit, since there were leaders in the tree that he didn't recognize. He had heard rumors of all of the drama, of course, but it was not something that he had wanted to actually get involved in. Maybe he should have at least bothered to remember everything that he had heard, though.
NIGHTCLAN It had been a long time since Dawnbringer had even entertained the thought of attending a gathering, but somehow here he was. The dark brown tabby sat close to the rest of his clan, not too eager at the thought of socializing with the other clans. He knew the opinions his sister held of them, which seemed to be a growing view within the clan. So, instead of seeking out someone to talk to, Dawnbringer mostly kept his vibrant green gaze on the night sky, occasionally glancing at those around him.
SUMMERCLAN Bubblechaser followed the rest of her clan to the gathering, looking every bit as though she belonged there. She held herself with confidence as she chose a spot to sit, her Siamese blue eyes scanning the area around her. As she settled in a bit more, she nodded a greeting to the first cat that met her gaze, a soft smile on her mouth.
Hearing the other cat’s judgement of her name made Shadowpaw fluff up a bit, but she tried to hide it by giving her pelt a lick. “Well, I suppose it just made sense. I was born at night and with my black fur, my mother said I almost blended into the shadows. As a kit, I still had a bit of white but it spread out as I grew. Still, I like my name. I think of it as more mysterious than scary.” She explained, lifting a paw to accentuate her description of her coloring. She leaned closer to sniff the paint. “What’s it made of? It smells a little strange to me, but I suppose you all must be used to it if you grow up around it.” Faith
RENEGADE REGIME Commander Shule walked into the gathering, looking as bad off if not worse than the SunClan cats. Her fur hung off a thin frame, stoic gaze as cold as the frigid wasteland that was Regime territory. Unlike WinterClan, their snowy lands had little prey to offer, and their traps had been long buried by the heavy snowfall they were still trying to dig through in an attempt to find and repair the traps, and hopefully get a little more prey. She said nothing as she leapt up with the other leaders, and it took her a long moment to blink, staring at Glowstar's very alive form, then offering a sigh. "You just don't die, do you?" It was a tease, really, or maybe Shule was impressed. With her neutral expression, it was hard to tell, but Glowstar would probably take it as the joke the Commander more or less intended it to be. Faith

DAY Minnow-wind lumbered in dead last, as his joints didn't respond well to leaf-bare. His green eyes scanned over the familiar sight of congregating cats, a small smile creept across his maw. He trailed wandered deeper into the cluster of cats, hoping it would be a little warmer.
