Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Feral cats have been spotted near the border, we must deal with them before they do anything too dramatic. Chase them away, either with your words or with your claws. We can’t have them stealing our prey, especially this time of year. note: anyone is allowed to roleplay a feral, so feel free to pop into the thread with one!
Cat one ; Howlingpaw (@atomheart ) Bramblepaw (Flurryofstars) Cat two ; Mintpaw (cookie ) Cat three ; Mythbreaker (simplylight ) Cat four ; Foxfire (lavellan) It was probably a surprise to those who didn't know him when Foxfire had volunteered for this quest. He wasn't that great with his words, and, while he was a great combatant in his youth, the senior warrior was definitely slowing with age. Yet, he was eager for the chance to stretch his limbs, and even possibly polish his fighting skills. So he wasn't as great as he used to be, but that didn't mean that he wasn't still good at what he does. It was why he was still a warrior, and refused to retire to the elder's den. Plus, he wasn't that old.
So the tabby waited at the trail leading out of camp for the rest of the members of the quest to gather. Hopefully the four of them would be enough to deal with the ferals, although he did have a sliver of a doubt since half of their group consisted of apprentices.
Mintpaw greeted the warrior with a gentle nose touch before backing away. "You ready to fight some ferals?" she asked him, green eyes sparkling. "Bet we could take care of them by ourselves. Don't even need the other two!"

Mythbreaker hated working with others. He much preferred going on his own. However, he was smart enough to realize that he couldn't face a pack of feral cats by himself. A sigh escaped his muzzle as he joined the others right as Mintpaw opened her mouth. "Well, if you insist on getting clawed to bits then I might as well head back."
Oh, the enthusiasm of apprentices never failed to amuse Foxfire. Was he like this when he was that young, too? He couldn't quite remember how he acted back then, but he probably did. Gently shaking his head, he turned his gaze to Mintpaw. "Is this your first experience in real combat?" If both of the apprentices in this quest were this eager to start a fight, there was only one way this would end. One glance at Mythbreaker told him that the other tom wasn't the most charismatic talker either, but perhaps the warrior would surprise him. They had all volunteered for this, but perhaps this group wasn't exactly the best choice out there. Oh well.
She nodded, trying to puff out her chest. "I've been training almost every day, Foxfire. I'm ready for this." And if Mintpaw was a little nervous, she wouldn't let it show.
Well, if the way that Mintpaw had dodged Foxfire's question told him anything, he was right. Though, with the long peace that Fallclan has had recently, it was no surprise. "Yes, yes, of course you are," he said, though his attention was elsewhere as his gaze searched for Howlingpaw.

“Sorry I’m late,” Bramblepaw exclaimed as she burst out of the camp, only to remember no one there knew to expect her. “Howlingpaw wasn’t feeling well, so I’m filling in for her,” she explained and then looked around the group. She wasn’t super familiar with the warriors, but she flashed a smile at Mintpaw. She was surprised that they’d want two apprentices to go on a job like this and hoped she’d be able to pull her own weight.

Mythbreaker suppressed a groan at the cheerfulness of the group. This was either going to be a disaster or very lucky, he decided. He passed a sideways look to Bramblepaw before nodding to Foxfire. "Well, lets hope these ferals haven't helped themselves to the whole forest by now. Are we ready to go now?"
Foxfire couldn't help the curl of his lips as Mythbreaker spoke. It seemed the tom shared his own thoughts about this. His gaze fell on Bramblepaw for a moment, then turned to face outside of camp. "We should be." They probably weren't. "Lets get going." He flicked his tail, then started on the way out of camp.
