Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

He wasn't totally on board with this idea. Somehow or another, he'd been shoved off in this direction though--one in which he was supposed to receive guidance and/or help. Apparently, picking literal fights with your clanmates wasn't the standard in SpringClan. How was he supposed to know? But plenty of others thought he needed some lessons in adjusting to clan life so here he was, standing outside the trusted's den, desperately hoping no one was there so he had a valid excuse to do something better with his time.
Clearing his throat, Newsnarl glared inside. "Hello? Anyone home?" he called, before glancing around the camp. He felt like such an idiot right now. "Dancingdragon? Harewhisker?" He tried again.
Harewhisker was in the Trusted den physically, but mentally she was somewhere completely different. The large she-cat was thinking over the newest change in leadership, wondering how it would affect certain aspects of the clan life and that of her own. Hearing her name was the only thing that pulled her from her thoughts.
A head appeared, fuzzy tufts of fur sticking up off of cream colored ears. Orange eyes took in the tom standing outside of the den. Momentarily, Harewhisker blanked on the name. She kept herself separate from actually socializing, well aware that things she said often came out wrong. The Trusted leant her brainpower for the good of the clan and that was it.
"Erm - Newsnarl?" The name came out as a question. She cleared her throat to cover it up. "Can I help you with something?"

Orange fur ruffled as the she-cat appeared in front of him, looking somewhat disoriented. She hadn't been sleeping had she? A groan tore from his throat at the thought. There was something about waking up his superior that made him feel even more like an idiot than before and if he could, he would slam his head into the nearest boulder to right the wrong. But that would be really weird, so he cleared his head with a firm shake and set his amber eyes back to hers.
"Ahh, hey! Yeah..." His ears flicked in annoyance as he tried to form the words aloud. He seriously hated this. "Icouldreallyuseyourhelp," Newsnarl muttered, suddenly facing away from her. Though his fur covered it, his cheeks felt hot as the sun right now. "Unless you're busy or something."
As a matter of fact, she was not busy. And now she was curious.
"What can I do for you?" she asked, eyeing Newsnarl up and down. He seemed like a perfectly capable warrior. She hadn't really expected him to need help and honestly had just expected that she was being called away for a dull patrol.

His ear flicked at her response, both annoyed and grateful that she was willing to help. "Well, I uh- I'm kinda new to this clan thing, you know? And I guess I do things that aren't exactly in line or something?" Still looking away from her, his face scrunched up. Why was it so embarrassing to talk about this? "Like, apparently, we're not supposed to pick fights with each other all of the time..."
Newsnarl picked at the dirt with his paws for a moment, battling over what he needed to ask. It wasn't like this needed to be so hard, but it wasn't like him to ask for help from anyone. Ever. "I was pushed your way, but to be honest, I've been having a hard time adjusting and I've been thinking about coming to you for help for a while now. Do you think that there's... a way for me to fit in better? Is there something we could try?"
She snorted. This tom had come to her for help with fitting in? Oh, the irony. Harewhisker settled on honesty.
"Whoever sent you to me was playing a joke. I'm the last person who could teach you how to fit in. Well," she amended, eyes sparkling with amusement. "Unless you do everything that I don't do."
The ginger warrior reminded her of herself in a way. There was life to him. And his eyes were.. warm. The glaring difference she saw though was that he was trying to fit in, where she.. was absolutely not.

Finally, his gaze left the ground and returned to Harewhisker, his amber eyes wide and unblinking. All of this work going out of my way for help and she's practically useless!? "Ahhhh man!" he groaned, tossing his head back. "You've got to be kidding me! I should have known I was wasting my time with this." And I'm definitely killing those guys for sending me here. Despite the annoyance in his voice, there was a sag to his shoulders now, revealing the underlying disappointment he felt. "Guess I'll be an outcast forever."
