Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Disloyaldog had just gotten off a late afternoon patrol when he spotted Funk E'tan and Vixenkismet. Anyone could have thought he'd turn to stone looking at them by the way he avoided their sight on a daily basis. After all, it was easy to avoid the new medicine cat when pain he enjoyed having stick around. However the pain that struck through his heart like thorn briars coiling around his chest was a different kind of pain. One that came from a disgustingly lovely fear wrecking agony in his chest. A part of him hesitated, because what if what he saw wasn't real? What if Bloodystar just wanted them to have that hope and then just as easily rip it away again. But then again Bloodystar had to really use his maximum brain power to think two steps ahead so it just felt unlikely.
Frolicking up to the pair he came to a stop, his acid green eyes flicking between the two of them, "I saw Glowstar, I swear it. I went to SunClan's territory last night for business after Bloodystar said I would be rewarded by seeing my mom again. I can't promise you that it wasn't an illusion, but I'd feel sick if it wasn't one and I knew the whole time without telling either of you. Plus... She's got that smile, I just don't think any illusion can fake that way she looks at someone. That's all..." He said honestly, hoping that the first thing he said was enough to capture their attention rather than tune him out. Although that was about all he could handle, he couldn't look at Funk E'tan, he didn't want to see the frustration or disappointment again.

Funk E'tan was the one who was strong in the beginning. Even after loosing that life, he hadn't succumbed to the depression like Vixenkismet. His was more quiet, the kind he wanted to hide away and bury those feelings. Just like always. But then League had taken a downward turn and every coping mechanism he had went down the drain.
He had come to Dayclan every now and again, slowly unable to leave the League as much as he wanted to. It had become like a chain. The pair now walked through the territory, the silence stretching between them. They were always so talkative, but today there was a tentative silence in the air. Like they were afraid breaking it would destroy everything around them.
So when Lucistic approached them, it was a blessing and a curse. Even if he told the other tom he didn't wanna see him again, Funk had missed his nephew. And the rush of words. That he'd seen Glowstar. Potentially. For a brief moment, he believed. Or wanted to believe. But he also remembered the fire. How hot it felt on his face, how it singed his whiskers, how Glow was encapsulated in it. It couldn't be real. Maybe it was some illusion Bloody had, the idea made Funk dig his claws into the ground. He shouldn't get his hopes up. Funk didn't speak up right away, face crest fallen in a way few had seen before.
Foxbane was far quicker to recover than Funk. Perhaps because anger, at times, was second nature, the first emotion she felt many times, before even hurt or sadness. Or maybe because she already blamed Lucistic, and herself too, but that was it's own mess, and it was far easier to channel her guilt into rage at someone else, especially seeing Funk's fallen face. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" Vixenkismet snapped, her voice unusually savage compared to how she'd been recently.
There was a lot she'd tolerate, but her would-have-been step-son mocking her and Funk after having gotten Glowstar killed? That tipped her over the edge, and if looks could kill, Luc would be dead where he stood. "Are you trying to hurt us more? Haven't you done enough already?"
"I'm a masochist, not a sadist. You've heard what I said, do what you would like with the information," Disloyaldog said, refusing to let the betrayal he felt at Foxbane's words surface. He didn't really have the right to feel betrayed, in fact normally he wouldn't have cared if she had yelled at him. But Glowstar loved her, she gave her life to her in more ways than one so hearing one of the most treasured people in his moms life talk to him like that tore at him more than normal. He stood there for a moment, uncertain why he was standing there, before realizing that he wanted to be able to look at Funk and not see a glare. He snuck one glance at Funk, barely processing it before turning around to leave this time. "I won't disturb you anymore."

But immediately, he regretted it. Feeling so weak. So vulnerable. Over a single she-cat. But his mind corrected it on instinct, it wasn't just a she-cat. It was Glowstar. Was this really the power she held on him? Originally, he joined this trio as a sort of curiosity, a have his cake and eat it too kind of deal. But he didn't realize how much it meant until Glow was gone and Fox snapped at Disloyaldog. It was a scary sort of power these two had. Funk's ears flattened against his skull.
"Alright then." He toyed with the bandana around his neck. Funk's tail intertwined with Fox's, letting go of his collar to lean into her. "You know, this is a particularly rude prank..." He really shouldn't have this hope, but it still perked him up. "If it is. Only one way to find out though."

Foxbane turned her head to blink at Funk in slight surprise. She hadn't expected him to want to actually pursue this, and her head swung around to glare at Luc again. "Okay, fine, I'll bite. But if you're lying, then whatever gods or demons you believe in aren't going to save you." Her threat honestly sounded a bit weak, though there was a decent chance she would find some way to make his life from then on even more utterly miserable.

"You know me, curious to a fault." Funk said with a weak smile. That's what he decided to say. Not that it wasn't true. If there was a slim possibility, he wanted to try it. Like a complicated surgery, or a new way of growing plants, or Misty Rose actually being able to read that damn book. Some things worked out, some didn't. The forest still held a lot of mysteries he wanted to unravel. Funk remembered his talks with Innocentia after she was burned. Revenge. He wanted it now.
"If we find it was an illusion though, then start praying to them we find Bloodystar before you." It was weak too, but his voice held malice. Funk wasn't gonna give him any hope, it was still a small chance. But it was in the back of his mind, letting him back.
"Yeah, well I just kidnapped Autumn's daughter so I'm hoping to get the beating of a life time instead of settling for weak verbal abuse like being called a foxheart, but I guess your insults were okay too. Anyways, if you do try something I'd suggest targeting any cat that he seems to keep close. Like there's this one blue eyed bright cinnamon cat I'd try," Disloyaldog shrugged, "Anyways good luck."
LATER IN SUNCLAN
Glitterfreeze looked back at SunClan camp, everyone was busy. Ever since they had moved back to SunClan she noticed Bloodystar's mind seemed to be somewhere else. The force that kept her walled off inside of camp had become weaker and weaker until one day she noticed she could leave. Unfortunately the day she noticed this there were too many cats around to stop her, but now had been the perfect opportunity to see if the force field truly was gone. Keeping her eyes out for others she tried to carefully move across the land soundlessly, but it wasn't working. The new body had a different kind of speed, weight, there were so many different variables she had to account for now. It was like she had the knowledge in her mind, but her body didn't know it yet. Her ears pricked when she thought she heard something, someones movement catching her off guard.

Funk E'tan closed his eyes, like he was exasperated with what he just heard. Oh well, he'd trip Lucistic later. Right now, the pair had some hell to raise.
Sunn
The walked through Sun sucked. It was so dead, they couldn't make it any deader. A horrible disappointment. Funk couldn't even spit on something without thinking that it would help the land rather than hurt it. The plus side of the war earlier was that he at least knew this place well enough to keep up with Foxbane.
