Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
There certainly was a lot of information for Spiritlake to absorb. Five minutes ago her family was her, her parents & her living littermates. Now she had half-siblings in WinterClan, six little nieces and nephews in SummerClan and a not-so-dead sister. She wasn't sure if she wanted to laugh or cry, probably both!?
She counted to ten and settled on option three, a warm and inviting smile that she shared equally with Devotedcrow, Raypaw and Agonywail. Spiritlake had grown into a much more passive cat than she had been in her youth, likely due to the freedom she had in SwiftClan that was most definitely stifled in SunClan.
"I can't believe it, I really can't," She said as she touched her nose to Raypaw's, "How did you even make it out of there, Raypaw!? And you--" She turned her wicked blue-and-lavender eyes on Devotedcrow, "I also can't believe that you're already a father! Our dad waited until he was practically an old man to get started!" Lastly she turned to Agonywail and was certainly more reserved towards him, "It's nice to meet you. Mother never mentioned you before... were you born before or after us?"
Ghostcrown really did look like he saw a ghost. She could see his breathing stop along with the confusion filling his gaze, which was just as quickly replaced with unmistakable joy and relief. And she really felt that. Time slowed when he dashed over to her, and she just waited motionlessly for him. The silver Bengal embraced him as he pushed his nose into her fur. It felt... great. The last time she saw her father was his exile right before their promotion. It was many moons, most of them in the dark for her. She shuddered as she pulled him in closer and a tear rolled down her face. She whispered into his ear. "Ugly's ugly crying..."
She reached out to meet her sister's nose, but her eyes told more than she could ever tell about her 'escape'. There was no escape. Shook her head and buried her nose back into her father's fur.
Agonywail was kind of moved by the whole scene, but Howlingnight's numbing did a number on him. He felt something deep down, but the scene could not move it to the surface. "I'm older."
spirit doesn't have any step-siblings through jetfire, she has cousins
Ghostcrown's laugh was half a sob. He couldn't let her go, he wouldn't, not ever, she had just come back to him and if he let her go she might leave again, she might really get hurt this time, he couldn't bear to lose her again. His family was back together now, everything felt right for the first time in moons, he had a second chance to be a good father to them, to put everything aside to be there for them, to be the best father and grandfather in all of the clans, he couldn't let her go now, he couldn't give up on that. He held her even as her sister spoke, unsure if the world was quaking or if he just trembling that much, all he knew was that she was real and she was alive and she was back.
Finally, he unwound from her just enough to brace his forehead against hers, murmuring frantically, "I am so, so sorry Raypaw, this was all my fault. I'll do better next time, I promise, I love you, if you'll have me I'll always be here for you, 'til the day I die and after if I can be. I-I really missed you."
His eyes closed, he let out a breath and slowly stepped back. Her absence from his side hurt, but he had regained some of his senses. He had a son and a daughter here, they missed their sister too, they deserved a chance to greet her as much as he did. He offered Agonvail a sideways look and a tiny nod, but right now, he couldn't bring himself to care about the stranger.
Allowing Raypaw and Ghostcrown the moment to themselves, the ebony warrior cracked a lopsided grin at Spiritlake's comment. "Hey, can't help it that I'm way more handsome than he was at this age. I just couldn't keep Orchiddrop off me." The lie was thin; aside from his own lacking self-confidence, anyone in the world could see the way he doted on and truly loved his mate, so much so that he was willing to forgive her betrayal. Devotedcrow figured his family would learn of that eventually, but he opted to reserve that information for another time. "What about you two? Anyone special catching your eye?" He glanced between her and Desertwind, searching his siblings' faces for evidence of their own infatuations, though he doubted it. Out of their whole litter, he'd always been the one most given to emotion, whether it was the ferocious anger nestled against his heart or the love he felt at his core.

Special? Desertwind blinked "Well there is this one she-cat..." he trailed off as he thought about it "She keeps fainting, and I want to know why. That is pretty special" of course there was nothing romantic, just simple curiosity "but Firetooth won't let me run an experiments" he pouted, "It's not fair, just because he is with Jetfire now, doesn't mean he has to ruin my fun"
"Firetooth is with Jetfire?" echoed Crow, confusion weaseling into his voice. After the events of the war, which had been poison in his heart for so many moons, he'd expected something to grow out of his father's devotion to the queen. He made a note to confront Ghostcrown about that some other time. For now, he focused on his brother's other news, whiskers twitching with interest. "A she-cat that faints? Well, does she faint when she sees you? Maybe she likes you."
