Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Indigopastel's watched through half lidded eyes as her son tried his best to play with his little sisters. The warrior was constantly having to watch his paws so that he wouldn't accidentally step on any of the six kids that wove between his limbs in pursuit of the moss ball he was trying to keep out of their reach so that he might redirect their attention on what he was trying to say.
"Be careful" the golden tom cautioned as she staggered to avoid stepping on one of his little sisters. "If you all jump at the ball at once you're going to get hurt." he warned, purring in amusement, giving up on trying to get the ball away from them entirely.
Sitting off to the side by her mother Bloomingkit watched her litter-mates place with mild interested, the pale ginger-and white she-cat had little desire to tumble and roll around in the dirt with the others, and instead as redirected her attention into fashioning a small flower crown.

To be honest, Beastsrefrain was still stunned. Stunned that Indigopastels got pregnant, and stunned he has six little daughters to watch over. He was at least there the whole time for the kitting, not that he watched. He could still feel himself shaking, knowing they and Indigo were perfectly fine. But he still worried.
Beastsrefrain wouldn't say he was great with kits, marginally better after helping with Indigopastel's first litter. It nagged at him somewhat, watching Lionblood and Dawnfrost play with them while he laid next to Indigopastels instead. He could watch as Dawnfrost struggled to make words as Dandelionkit jumped again at the ball Lionblood held. So young, but already a spitfire. Looking to the side, he spotted a small blue flower blooming. He plucked it gently before reaching over to give it to Bloomingkit. "Here." His throat suddenly went dry, but he placed the flower in front of her softly before pulling back.
Fawnkit grunted as she made a particularly zealous leap for the ball, missing by a claw-length and skidding across the ground. "Look out below!" she screeched, dirt flying up in a cloud around her as she skidded dangerously close to the blue Beastrefrain had just picked for Bloomingkit.

But Beastsrefrain was there. He acted on instinct, jumping up to catch his daughter before careening into another. One of his paws rested gently on her side, holding Fawnkit steady as she got her balance back. "You two okay?" He looked between the two, the realization dawning on him at how close his claws were to her flesh. He didn't want to, not one bit. So why didn't the thought go away?

Iridescentkit wasn't one of the kits leaping towards the ball, instead she hovered close-by and watched. Her tail flicked and she even wiggled occasionally as though she were going to jump into the fray but she always relaxed again, not an inch out of place. When Fawnkit and Bloomingkit almost collided she let out an audible gasp and scurried over, eyes locked onto Beastsrefrain and Fawnkit as her sister regained her balance.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Her voice was worried and stern, almost motherly, as she checked Fawnkit over herself. Iridescentkit couldn't stand the thought of one of them hurt, and she once she was sure Fawnkit was okay she turned and started in on Bloomingkit.
Fawnkit grunted as she slowly regained her balance, eyes gleaming. "That was so cool," she gushed, and leant away from Beastrefrain and Iridescentkit. "Pops. Sis. Chill out, would you? I worked hard to get my fur this dirty, y'know. We're both fine--right, Bloomingkit?" she asked, turning toward her sister, who in hindsight, may not have been totally fine at almost colliding with Fawnkit.
The other kittens might be distracted by Fawnkit, but Silverkit? Her focus was impeccable. Which was why, as everyone else turned to face the collision, she raced past them to tackle the now-neglected moss ball. She caught it in her paws and stretched her tiny jaws wide to try and get a good grip on the ball, then proceeded to try and secretly drag it away, which was much more difficult than she first imagined.
"What? No, I'm fine" Bloomingkit insisted, trying to play it off as she totally didn't flinch when her sister nearly bulldozed her, Her pale blue-green eyes glancing over to the now crushed blue flower, and now destroyed flower crown her father hadn't managed to save in the fray of things. Her ears and tail drooped slightly as the sight of it and she bit her lower lip to keep it from quivering until she could tear her gaze away.
"Yeah, I'm fine" she repeated.
Lionblood had halted his attempt on retrieving the ball, too preoccupied with the commotion going on on the sidelines, his attention only returning to it just in time to catch Silverkit trying to make her way off with it.
"It looks like we have a winner over here!" he announced, chuckling as he watched his little sister struggle.
As per usual, Violetkit was the black lamb in comparison to her sisters' shining lights. Even Silverkit, despite how quiet she was, glimmered with a radiance he black she-cat could only experience from the outside looking in. Every tinkling laugh and smile made her upper lip curl. She liked it better when her sisters were quiet – at least then she wouldn't have to deal with the nauseating methods they used just to get attention.

Beastsrefrain let out a huff, relief letting him forget about his irritation. At least the two were physically fine, but the broken up face on his daughter's face drove a stake through him. This is what it was like, huh? "Why don't you two go back to playing with Lionblood?" Beastsrefrain suggested to Fawnkit and Iridescentkit before turning back towards Bloomingkit. "Don't be sad, dear. I'll help you find some new flowers for the crown, okay?" His paw more hovered over Bloomingkit's back, fighting with himself on what to do before setting it back down.
Dawnfrost had stitched together another mossball, whistling over the siblings again as Dandelionkit broke from the group to jump on Violetkit. "VI. You gotta stop being a stick in the mud and come play. Come on." The golden she-kit began pushing her sister out into the light.
Fawnkit's gaze lingered over the destroyed flowers, feeling a tinge of guilt about what had happened. She'd make it up to Bloomingkit someday--and it would have to be someday and not now, because her dad had just told her and Iridescentkit to go play somewhere else which she figured was a great excuse to ignore her guilt and forget all about it. "Sure," she said. "C'mon, sis. I think Silverkit won the moss ball game, how 'bout we do a rematch? Maybe with Violetkit this time!"
