1) Around how old were you when you first got into warrior cats and what made you get into rping warrior cats?
I got into it in middle school and I started out with the mangas. I thought if I protested long enough all the books would turn into mangas, but that didn't happen so I started officially reading the actual series in 8th grade, I was very late to the game xD
2) Who was your favorite leader/ deputy in the series?
Skystar, oh my gosh, I love him. He's always like, "I just don't understand why people don't like me." While murdering a beloved clan member that he used to be friends with and everyone's like, "Oh my gosh he's a PSYCHO." xD
3) Who was your favorite medicine cat/ MCA in the series? [SPOILERS]
Mothwing! She's not sorry about who she is as a person, she starts off feeling ashamed about her beliefs, but grows into her own person and now stands up for the fact that she's an atheist. I mean she is so hardcore that she met StarClan and was basically like, "I see you, but you never saw me, you're nothing." And like DANG GIRL, no one in that entire series has ever sassed StarClan, I really loved that. And then she talked back to her leader after her leader totally betrayed her for the SECOND time and just walked out.
4) Who was your favorite character in the series?
Spotfur. Listen, she's got a lot of spoilers, but I will say that she's just this background character who legit stole the show and is really the reason any of the main characters got their act together. Like she got put down and she really made it clear that no one better ever mess with her again, what an idol!
5) If you could bring one cat back to life in the series who would it be?
Badgerkit, I just remember being in 8th grade history class reading it and tearing up while everyone was watching a movie and hoping no one would notice. I think Badgerkit's story just really shows that no one questions authority, there aren't these parent kid connections, and just how young these kids are indoctrinated into believing their purpose is to die for their clan without question. It was just this really sad moment of realizing how much the Warriors world sucks and how little they really do to protect the masses, yet leaders have all the defense to protect them.
6) If you could create an AU to become canon in the warrior cat universe, what would it be?
- Mosskit survives the cold and grows up in ShadowClan, but is resentful of Bluestar, eventually becoming ShadowClan leader
- Redtail guides Firepaw instead of Spottedleaf
- Alderheart wasn't actually chosen as medicine cat, Bramblestar was just ashamed of having a son who couldn't hunt
- Mistystar being given more lives than she should have explaining why she has lived for so long
- Firestar and Tiny both are a part of ThunderClan
7) Who’s your most hated warrior cat character in the series?
I hate every character in this entire series except for like a select few who are bound to disappoint me, I'm sure. But I hate Moth Flight the most, she SUCKS, disowning her children, making other moms disown their children and being like, "Sorry, I sucked at being a mom so you guys will too." What kind of egotistic evangelist does that? Then I think I hear she appears in a later book and starts shaming Leafpool for hooking up with a tom. Which honestly I feel Alderheart largely raised Twigbranch, but no one ever shamed him. Moth Flight is honestly the Karen of the entire Warriors series
8) How would you imagine your Classic character fitting in if they entered the warrior cat series universe with the original clans?
Not fitting in. That's how I'd imagine it xD
Glowstar or Glowromance as a warrior would probably be too much of an anarchist and question the ethical choices of leaders, but she's really good at being likable so maybe she'd fit in. I think they would ultimately just decide they gotta kick her out though. She could probably survive in ShadowClan though, they seem to tolerate anyone.
9) If you had to make a warrior cat OC of yourself for the warrior cat universe what would they be like, what clan are they in, and where would they go in life?
If it's anything true to real life I'd be a Ravenpaw. I'd grow up in RiverClan and they would be like, "Okay, let's teach you how to swim." And I'd have a panic and attack. But because in this universe there's no denying that StarClan's real I think I could be a really sucky medicine cat apprentice. Constantly forgetting what does what, having an allergic reaction to plants, getting grossed out by blood. But at least I'm doing something and not failing as a warrior. I'd probably be really adamant that I should be allowed to have a mate, but when asked who I would want to be mates with I'd be like, "NO ONE, but I have my rights dammit!" xD
10) What was your favorite warrior cat box series? The Prophecies Begin, The New Prophecy, The Power of Three, Omen of The Stars, Dawn of The Clans, A Vision of Shadows, The Broken Code
Dawn of The Clans, that was a nice solid story arch
11) If you could choose any cat in the series to be your mentor who would it be?
Tree, I want to study in the art of being chill with him and not being scared of ghosts, younger me could have definitely used those lessons
12) Do you think ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, WindClan, and SkyClan could survive in the Classic universe?
That's a strong no, like size alone our clans MASSIVELY out number them. I think RiverClan could realistically live though because they could move into Survival Clans easily and since SwiftClan started out small and no one bothered them over there then there's no reason to think they wouldn't live. I think SkyClan could last for a time in EarthClan cause of their gorge area, but their neighbor SunClan would ultimately make them quit and become kittypets again. And then ShadowClan's easy to abandon their religion and fail as a clan in the face of dictators so they'd probably all join SunClan
13) What was the weirdest thing that happened in the warrior cat series or fandom?
Realizing that the writers have little care in continuity when they forgot who Graystripe's kits were. That was an eye opening moment xD
14) What were some of your favorite warrior cat fan arts or videos?
Bluestar's Depression - Did a great job at humanizing Bluestar. I don't like her, but seeing her struggle with her mental issues in this PMV was really well done!
15) If you could get a warrior cat plush of any character, which would it be?
Scrooge! That was the first Warriors book I read and I would just love a tiny cat plushy where if I squeeze him it says, "I will destwoy you" in this cute voice and he's got his purple fanged collar.
16) For years everyone’s been asking for a warrior cat video game. If you could design one what would it look like?
I would love a virtual world, where you can have the ability to make your own clan and customize the territory and then invade other peoples clans. But you actually play as a cat you get to customize.
17) What are some romantic pairings you wish had happened in the warrior cat series?
Briarlight and Jayfeather, they were nice friends, but I think there's something special about two people that encourage one another to be better than who they were before they met. That Jayfeather made her stronger and Briarlight made him kinder. That they both feel unlucky, but being together the worlds not as lonely. And I say romantic instead of friend because I think they both want that love that someone loves just them and only them more than anyone else. Because they've both spent such a long period of their lives being bitter and to just have someone who is yours would be a first time, stabilizing emotional part of their lives none had ever had before. A kind of trust neither of them explored, it would have been nice to have seen.
Leafpool and Crowfeather staying together. I've read nothing about them, maybe I'm wrong, but I think the series would have just been way more interesting for the leaders daughter to literally run away and go rogue. I think it could have been cool if they try to form their own clan and it had a different kind of code, but still believes in StarClan. And it really began to make everyone question the code and who is it really helping. Plus maybe Hollyleaf really liked the original code and turned her back on her parents. To people who didn't like the whole Power of Three Arch I think a struggle between ethics would have been really interesting.
Also just more LGBTQ+ couples in general would be nice. Especially when the books standards for forming a relationship is exchanging a sentence or two with a cat it makes me feel like any two guys or girls talking to each other could be a possibility lol
18) If you could change one thing about the warrior cat series what would it be?
Continuity. Also for them to have not written Thistle as a creep, I enjoyed the idea of a forbidden romance between a Dark Forest cat and a StarClan cat like Snowfur before that happened!
