Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
What were children meant to do in a land frozen by winter and time? For Verena-chan, it meant exploring what she could and hoping she didn’t get caught — or, perhaps, hoping she did so it would stifle the chill of loneliness she felt. She knew it was dangerous and someone would make a fuss, but this was her home too, wasn’t it? By some measure, did that not mean she could navigate her own space?
The youngling sighed and sat down, hunger gnawing in her belly and sadness beginning to take over her mind. What she needed was friends. Friends and a good meal... Unfortunately, she’d managed to get herself lost.

A good meal wasn't in sight. Evangeline-kun had gotten decent at chasing off most of the few remaining kittypets to get their food, but there was only so much and it tended to go quick. At least it wasn't blistering cold today, no wind to cut through her sandy pelt. The snow was built up high, clear enough to where she could see a little line being cut through it by Verena-chan.
Even for one so small, it was a walk filled with determination. It inclined Evangeline-kun to follow until the youngling sat down. Looking over her shoulder, like somehow she expected someone to be following, she kept going before approaching the young cat. "What's got you so down?" She asked, inquisitive rather than demeaning, "It'll warm up soon. I know it."
