In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
( Note: Only SunClan cats/SC Initiates can see and hear the Sun God. )
The deity walked through the snow with an expression one might liken to a badger awoken from it's slumber. Water soaked into his paws as the icy powder melted and boiled around his feet, steaming up in a cloud that seemed to follow the irritated Sun God wherever he moved. He wondered a moment, what any non SunClan cats might think, seeing steps of snow melt and for seemingly no reason at all. The idea was enough to amuse him briefly, until he remembered the annoying cold that soaked into his pads once more.
Grumbling under his breath, he glared at the trees around him, barely managing to keep himself from willing them alight just to rid the territory of the blasted snow. SunClan would thank him, he was sure of it, would sing his praises for warming up the area. So what if he killed half the clan and most of the prisoners in the process? By the time the sensible part of the massive tom's mind caught up to him, the branches were already starting to smolder, small curls of smoke drifting to the sky.
Oh, oops. Blinking, the tree almost immediately stopped smoking as it cooled, though there were a few dark, charred looking patches across the surface of the bark.
It was the smoke in the tree tops that had first caught Bravekit's attention. He felt his fur begin to fluff up, as he stared in wide eyed wonderment. It wasn't everyday that you watched treetip combust into flame, only to stop just as suddenly. He felt his heart beating quickily within his chest, for despite his name Bravekit was not the bravest of cats. A great many things scared him.
He opened his maw to scream, when the sun god came into view. His presense helped to calm him, for the strange occurance made more sense. He cautiously approached, having never seen the sun god himself, only hearing what he looked like. "Did you do that?" he questioned, looking like a frightened deer.
The tom's head turned, as if noticing the kitten for the first time. This was greatly unusual, for the Sun God most often knew who was headed his way before they ever realized they were walking towards him. All the same, the deity laughed slightly, glancing back at the semi-charred bark, before offering a radiant smile directed at the terrified kitten. "Of course!" The large cat replied, nodding slightly. "Don't worry, you're not in any danger." Now, that wasn't entirely true, because the deity could kill the kit in an instant, but the Sun more meant that the forest wouldn't burn down today. Well, not unintentionally at least.
Bravekit couldn't calm his pounding heart, but insticually he knew he was safe around the Sun God. His tail twitched uncontrollably, as he stared at the charred branches. He knew there was no reason to be afraid, but stopping his body's reaction was rather difficult. He had always been a nervous tom, overreacting to even mundane objects.
For example, the apprentice den unnerved him.... He didn't know why, but it did. He refused to enter into it. He was also afraid of thunder, falling branches, and thorns. He always maticulously checked his nest each night to ensure that there were no thorns placed into his moss.
A shiver made it's way down his body as he looked up at he deity "Why did you burn the trees?"

Ah, now that was the crux of the matter. For a moment, the deity almost looked sheepish, as if he'd been caught causing some trouble. In a way though, he supposed he had been. "That was unintentional. I got lost in my thoughts, and forgot my own power for a moment there." Most cats forgot how strong they were when dealing with kits, but few ever considered that a being such as him might have a similar problem. Except, it was a lot more terrifying to consider, when you realized that he might not just cause accidental injury to a kit, but could destroy the lives of cats in entire territories just by being a touch forgetful.
