Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Arcanekit bounded through the snow, the ebony she-cat with her auburn laced legs giggled as the white powder stuck to her thicker fur, matching the wisps of white that curled down the side of her face and under one of her Egyptian blue eyes, the vibrant color currently overlaid in a gold sheen that only appeared in nighttime's darkness. The moon hung overhead, just over halfway full and illuminating the white landscape, leaving the area wonderfully bright and magical in appearance.
Usually, kittens weren't out so late, but she'd been unable to sleep. Her father tried, he really did, but even he couldn't help that SunClan's nursery was more than a little crowded at the moment, and she felt stifled there. Out here, she felt wonderfully free and alone in her own little corner of the world.
One unfortante side effect of being blind that most cats never considered was that it was difficult to tell the difference between night and day. Unseenkit unaware of how late it was, sat alone. It was not all that unusual, for most cats in the clan feared her and her siblings due to who her father had been.
Her long fur fluttered in the breeze as she heard the sound of soft footsteps. They were to soft to be an adults, so it had to of been another kit.
Arcanekit paused, seeing a flicker of something in the corner of her eye, only to finally notice Unseenkit's presence. Oh! Someone to play with. "Come play with me, Unseenkit!" Glowstar's daughter called, giggling as she rolled around in the snow. "Now, before anyone wakes up and tries to make us go to bed." Her dad probably wouldn't care, in fact, he might encourage her to explore and be unruly, so it was more that she wanted to avoid the rest of their clanmates, who might not appreciate having two kits wandering around in the snow all night.
"You want me to play with you?" she questioned as her ears flickered towards Arcanekit. Most of the queens kept their kits far away from her, simply for the fact of who her father had been. Usually having a Soothsayer as a father wouldn't be a concern, but her father had been a murder. He had been publicly executed while their mother was still pregnant with her and her siblings.
She supposed that Arcanekit might not have the same prejudices... Her mother was Strikhendonidalisay, a member of SunClan but also a leader of another clan. She tilted her head in question, almost as if she was waiting for another invitation before joining in. To make sure the other kit had not said her name in error.

"What are you waiting for, Unseenkit, c'mon!" If Arcanekit knew anything about the she-kit's past, she didn't seem to care. She was more concerned with having someone to play with than what their parents might have done once upon a time.
