Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
LIVES TO SIGN UP FOR : note : aspen falls somewhere between the cusp of good and evil. technically, she's a tempered evil, but she isn't necessarily bad. feel free to use both starclan and dark forest cats, or whatever religion your cat follows c: i don't mind who gives her her lives, as long as rebirth comes from a former nightclan cat (: note two : i only have one open life that the rper can pick, but if you have another life you'd rather give, duty and truth can be exchanged
1 protection ; silentheart 2 wisdom ; open 3 duty ; open 4 ferocity ; open 5 judgement ; potionsmaster 6 truth ; open 7 devotion ; kidder 8 destruction ; open 9 rebirth ; open IMPORTANT NOTE : THIS ONE NEEDS TO BE A FORMER NIGHTCLAN CAT !
the lives aren't in a particular order, except the last two which will come together for her character development. to claim a life, make a note of it in your first post, and then feel free to start immediately rping your character in the thread !
Honeystorm i'm going to tag you in this for ahava, you can decide whether you want to reply and have her join aspen in the ceremony. it's up to you !
So, this was it. Aspendust didn't really know how she felt. On one hand, there was a part of her that was incredibly proud to have made it this far. On the other, though, there was still a part of her that wondered if this was what was right for the group. Had Phantomstar made a mistake? It had all happened so fast; she couldn't help but have residual doubt. That was natural, though, or at least she hoped it was.
She glanced one more time to her medicine cat, before giving one last nod. She then bowed her head to the water, taking a single drink before finding herself among the deceased.

( Silentheart / Protection? c: )
When Aspendust found herself among the skies one's ancestors roamed, she wasn't alone, Ahava Vairocana at her side, peering around with that same sort of eerie calm, like no horror or divinity could ever cause her to waver. She turned her head slightly, taking in the surroundings. "You'll be fine." She assured easily.
( Potionsmaster / Judgement? I didn't see anyone else but honey reply to this so I thought I would throw one of my first Nightclan characters out there c: )
both of you are marked ! i'll give it a little bit to reply again bc i'd love to see a dead cat enter the rp before i get too far ahead of myself, but if no one else responds in a timely manner, i'll pick up the slack !
The first cat to greet Aspendust wasn't even really as StarClan cat at all. Silentheart had followed the gods, ones almost no one living knew or followed any longer, except perhaps her granddaughter, if Lakeveil chose to follow anything at all. "Welcome." The old she-cat greeted, blind eyes blank, though smile was warm and welcoming. "My name is Silentheart, I was from BrookClan in my life, and lived through many beliefs, from StarClan to gods that only a handful of cats would even recognize the names of in this day. Gods I followed up until my untimely death at the paws of my own granddaughter."
Aspendust blinked at the she-cat's words. Gods? Was she ever going to escape the utter nonsense? She didn't let the other know her discomfort, though. It was inperceptable in her gaze, which was probably good. After all, the feline was coming to give her a life, which meant that she held a vested power over Aspendust that was perhaps unmatched. "I have heard stories of BrookClan," she meowed with a nod. The group had fallen into disrepair and eventually disbanded far before she was born, but her parents had told her stories as a kit when warning her of the Sun God's power. Her parents had not known specifics, other than the cats worshipped several gods in... perhaps unsettling ways. As she listened to the feline continue to speak, she felt her heartstrings being pulled. Murdered by your own kin? She couldn't help but frown. "Your journey here must have been long. I appreciate you joining us tonight."

Silentheart chuckled. "Far enough, but the journey was worth it, if only to see the family of mine that walks these skies and the living relatives that worship these ancestors. I have family far closer to NightClan than you know."
She didn't hesitate to step forward, pressing her nose gently to Aspendust's forehead. "I give you a life of protection. There will be time when you, your family, and your clan are threatened, from within or without. Use this life well to keep the cats of NightClan safe, even from themselves, if necessary." There was a sadness to her words on that last note, thinking of her own daughter, though Springlockedgrave had been given a second chance at the life she was always meant to lead. This life was shocking and painful, as though electricity were running through her, driving her forward and spurring her on, simply hoping to make it in time to save someone. There was no images to accompany this feeling, just emotions, whispered words barely on the edge of one's understanding.
And then it seemed to stop suddenly, as the she-cat stepped back, gone as quickly as it had come, and leaving the new leader breathless from the whiplash of intensity. "May Nivet watch over you, and bring you back to times of peace and balance no matter how out of control things seem to get." Silentheart offered as her parting words.
